I've just discovreded that there's Morrowind and Cyrodil terrain in Skyrim.

I'm pretty sure you all know that for long time, though I do ask did some moders decided to add those 2 countries in Skyrim?

No, that was in the vanilla game.  Via console people were able to go beyond Skyrim borders and there is architecture (not developed) for Morrowind, Cyrodiil, etc.

Is this true!? That is super awesome!!!:o

Was this not the same in Oblivion?

Dunno, never played Oblivion^_^

Yeah it was nice of bethesda to even acknowledge marriage and romance but I wish they could have taken it a bit farther. There are lots of npc's out there that use the same voiceactor as the one's we already can marry, but for superficial reasons we can't.

I also understand the general reasoning behind the brief "courting" ceremony, both for gameplay and story, but I really wished they could have added a small quest or something to pad it out, maybe even add some quests for the family itself once you have one.

Right now as it is, wives don't really do anything, even with roleplaying. Food is essentially worthless gameplay-wise, and unless you have a spouse that can travel the store isn't very useful.

There are some delicious dishes, gameplay-wise!

Yes but the wife gets angry when I 'sample' them.

Oh you meant the other kind of dishes...Image IPB

On my second playthrough, I actually miss my mage character. There was no need to bother with these boring armours, weapons and smithing, I just destroyed things with my mind.

I also find that Skyrim is much more enjoyable if one eschews random exploration in favour of doing quests. The guilds and radiant quests take you to every location on the map anyway.

I'm the opposite- I found random exploration more fun and had to remind myself to save some of it for future playthroughs.

And I can't play a pure mage.  Something about running around in skirts.  I like to BASH ALL THE THINGS.

I'm with you! I tried to play quest driven with the first char. I would even  unmark all quests in the Journal but the one I was going to try and complete. It was hopeless. I ended up with even more quests logged because I couldn't help but "discovering" everything that was on my way. And some quests have a very long road to go.

I solved my inability to do quests by fast traveling.
Although I just cant help wandering off at times.

Like when I ran around the wilderness cackling like Palpatine and slaughtering all the animals with my new lightning bolt spell.

I like using the lightning spells on random objects and pretending I sent the to the future when they disappear. (In reality the funky physics send the objects flying)

Upon seeing a bear running at me: "Now you will experience the full powah of the DARK side of the force"
Upon seeing a fox "Young fool...only now at the end DO YOU understand"
Then upon seeing a bandit I equipped dual sparks and yelled:
"UUUUUUNNNNNNNNNLLLIMMIITEED PPPPPPPPPOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!"

Then I paused and realized that I had killed:
Eight deer, couple of bears, some bunnies, that bandit some more bandits, oh and their dog.

I then took a break to chill out and get away from my evilness for a little while.
That is why Skyrim is my fave game this year, its ability to let me embrace my inner Sith and fry the country side.

Laughing evilly actually.

I only giggle manically when I am robbing an entire town and running out of town with all their valuables.

I love how my morals entirely vanish when playing Elder Scrolls games.

Its funny but I think my morals increase while playing.

For example whenever I have to steal something from a nice and/or poor person for a job I almost always slip in a more valuable jewel or gem into their pockets. Its to the games credit that I find myself actually caring about things like that.

I am still trying to get to 100,000 gold for the achievement but I do kind of feel bad for robbing some people like Ysolda or other poor people.

In Assassins Creed 2 I loved tossing money at crowds and watching people swarm for it.

MONEY MONEY MONEY MONEY MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

^ There is definitely a point in the game where you have more cash than you could possibly spend. If I loaded up with crap I've been storing in every chest in all 5 houses (bad organization, I know), and sold everything, I'd probably be right at the 100,000 septim mark, or better.

The problem is that once you improve some items past a certain point, no regular merchant has enough cash to pay you per item (even TG fences with 4000 septims each). Some pieces are worth twice that.

If you invest your perks in speech/merchants, are they able to buy all of that crap from you for the full price? I really need to raise that skill...

@Happy

I know that certain perks increase the available gold that a merchant has, but I don't know quite how high it can go, I wouldn't say more than 3000 from what I've encountered.

I'm also haing problem selling Items to vendors, and I've still got a load of legendary weapons and armours dumped in a case in my house, yet I've got well over 20,000 gold and I'm only 50 odd hours in without investigating any of the other cities and the I've not secured the horn for the greybeards yet!

I must say, Hjerim is awesome. I wish all of the houses had that many weapon racks, cases, etc., although I have enough staves to fill up about 10 of those racks.

I'd like to know what goes in that empty room upstairs..? I'm pretty sure I bought all of the decorations for the house, but there is an empty room that seems like it needs some chairs or more storage. And a huge bin for my alchemy ingredients.

And where in the heck is Calder? I wonder if Mjoll and Aerin did something to him?

Yeah I like Hjerim for its space, but Honeyside wins me by virtue of its moldy coziness and the garden and porch.

Calder should be hanging out in your dining room asking you if you're there to make trouble when you come home.  Did you talk to Ulfi about becoming jarl?

Problem with Fast Travel is that it screws up with the calendar, sort of. Time travels a lot faster than when we do the actual traveling. I've set timescale to 15 i/o default 20. I found that it was slightly better for me and it would not make the world take forever to respawn things, like it was doing when I tried timescale to 10 or 5.

Money is never a problem. Just buy things you may use, like Soulgems or Ebony ingots and merchants will have money to pay for your stuff. Being an investor and having the last speech perk also helps. My other char had around 180k gold by level 50.

New one has around 60k at the same level but I didn't go crazy about looting and selling this time. I've also spent a lot on Alchemy training and it was expensive at the end! hehe

Hmm. I thought I did, but maybe not. Good point, I'll go check. Here I go, derping again.

Yeah, I like Honeyside, too. I wish there was a reason to hang out on the porch, but there's too much other stuff to do.

Honestly, I like all of them, with the exception of Breezehome. Up the stairs, get caught on the last step, down the stairs...Oops! Forgot something! Up the stairs, get caught on the last step, down the stairs, jump on the fire. Oh wait, did I put that in the top chest, or the bottom? Crap. Maybe it's that I had that house for a really long time before buying anything else.

Ah, I only pick up some things, I'm also working up the enchantment skill levels so that is probably going to slow things down initally I was just selling the loot for cash, but since I'm in the 90's for smithing and 80's for single handed and heavy armour, skill training for those isn't really worth it. whilst I was in Whiterun. I'll have to start bumping up the non combat skills soon, as I'm sick of spending ages picking locks.

One slight thing I've found with manipulating the skill system is that I've got a suit of legendary steel plate, Orcish, elvish and Ebony armours sitting in my trunk in the house in Whiterun, so most of the armour available to buy just isn't worth it, I'm partially through forging legendary daedric armour, but I'm only at level 30 and not too far in so I need to go hunt down some daedra hearts to complete it, but I've got a stack of ebony ore so far. I'll probably go to the mages college next and buy another house I've only got one.

For the one saying food is worthless: wrong! Beef stew and vegetable soup regenerate stamina and health for 720 seconds. This is pretty darn useful for a fighter/archer.

Anyway, Jenassa is my new favourite companion. She actually dual-wields and survives when a giant launches her into space. Still no Irileth or Karliah, but she'll do.

That always ends up being Lydia's cottage as soon as I can afford something else.  It's convenient to vendors, but you need fire resist boots just to get across the kitchen.

Markarth is fun because I like leaping off the stairways.  Also, Agnis the Bulwark looks like he could deal some serious hurt on any would-be burglars or assassins.

Does anyone else think of the other, less savory meaning of "honey" when you see the name Honeyside?  All those open sewers...

I had just exited Breezehome when I heard a scream coming from the market place. Belethor's body, lifeless at the wood chopping block on the side on his shop. A murder in Whiterun! And who arrives not two minutes later and begins chopping wood as if nothing has happened? Sigrud the assistant!

Has this happened to anyone else? More importantly, does someone take over Belethor's shop?

@FallToo- Will have to admit that the house looks great to be honest with you there. But will it allow me to put the dagger in the case even thogh it's still marked as a quest Item? After all it sure wont allow me to put it in any chest that I've got in any of my homes or on one of my wall plaques.

@AngryFrozenwater Will have to agree with you on the Orc in the Mage College. He's funny. I also like it when you ask him what he's got for sale and he says "Just make sure that your hands are clean"

Someones probably already answered this (I'm feeling on the lazy side today so I won't go check:lol:) but yes, you can put it away. I was able to put it away before turning in the quest.

Then well.. I kinda forgot about the quest and the dagger after awhile.. Just don't forget that its in there <LOL>
