I'm playing Oblivion right now and I noticed something by accident. It might be known already, and if so I'm gonna look stupid, but I thought i would point it out.
I just returned to the Imperial City from a few looting expeditions up north and of course went to the Market District. I noticed, by accident, that the statue almost directly across from Edgar's Discount Spells (the man holding up a sword and holding a shield) has THE Skyrim dragon symbol on his shield. The image is definitely THE exact same symbol. Pretty neat, thought I would share in case anyone never noticed it before. Could clue us in on something, too.
Ok....off to sell some staffs, armor and alchemy ingredients...
If you're talking about this:
It's the symbol of the Septim Dynasty, as well as the symbol for Talos (Tiber Septim). So it matches with the Dragonborn aspect of the game.

Is Morrowind ok on consoles? I'm playing Oblivion on PC and have I have Morrowind downloaded, but I want to play something casual on console. I don't have an x box I have a 360, but if the 360 can play Morrowind I will go pick it up super cheap somewhere.
The Xbox 360 is backwards compatable. Morrowind plays fine on it.

I just started Morrowind, for the first time. And it's on a tapestry in the first room, where you spec your character class.
I played Morrowind for a few hours once, but I'm about to install some big mods, make a new character and really dive into the game now. From what I've been reading it seems that the story is a lot deeper than Oblivion.

I'm guessing too that weapon appearances will be similar, a little different based on Nordic culture, with obviously a lot more detail

Isn't the latest emperor hugely unpopular right now? I heard Vvardenfell has been declared uninhabitable, and Solstheim is now mixed dunmeri and Nordic island?
thres a book set inbetween oblivion ans skyrim, and part of the back story is that the moon above Vvvardenfell crashed into it making red mountain erupt, then black marsh invaded morrowind and all the dark eves ran to Solstheim

Yeah, that's the Symbol for the Dragon born, and the Septim dynasty or something.
And nobody says neat any more, other than you.

I don't mind the Greaves/Cuirass being combined
I liked to run around with just boots and greaves, since my character has always been an argonian, I thought it looked pretty sick using his natural scales as armour instead of a cuirass.
