Question, is Anneke Crag Jumper Sylgja's mom? I swear i delivered Syl's letters to an old dude in Darkwater Crossing who i think looks like Anneke's husband.

Some of them prefer either light or heavy armor.
If the armor you are giving them is higher rated and they still won't equip it, try adding and subtracting a few different armors to their inventory a couple of times. That was the only way I could make Jenassa wear upgraded Forsworn armor.
Thought about that but Khjaro will wear the orcish helm, boots and gauntlets I have on him but not the Orcish armor. Same issue I had with Lydia who used a shield but would never equip the better shields I gave to her.
yes, I also noticed that Lydia won't equip better shields.

@Giggles: The Thalmor claim they saved Summerset Isle from the Oblivion crisis. It's not clear that they actually did. They seem more like opportunists, manipulators and liars to me than real super-elven beings.
I think they are just dogmatic egotistical fools who got their High Elven brains fried somehow.
Much like the dwarves who thought they could mess around with the basic fabric of reality and become gods themselves. If you play Tribunal you see ASH PILES where dwarves stood so...no I dont think it worked out for them. Extreme arrogance seems to be a trait amongst the Mer races though.
The Thalmor could certainly close gates down much like the PC did in Oblivion but it was Martin who stopped them from EVER being opened like that again and cast Dagon back into Oblivion, well with a little help from Akatosh.
Sadly the Redguards showed WHY humans are tough though.
Which is why I hope TES VI is set in the Sumerset Isles so we can bring the Thalmor crashing down.

And this is what's left of my Soul Hunting after enchanting everything I ever wanted and I'd say it's more than enough to recharge anything forever. It's not such a chore to fill more anyway. Once I have the gems, I just use my Soul Trapping Greatsword and their soul are mine!

One for My Baby was a great one.
I'm hoping there will be some interesting, in-depth follower quests in the DLC.

Space dragons FTW.

I really really really want that but remember Obsidian did New Vegas and Bethesda rarely every have companions that are that has that much depth in there games. It is one of the reasons why I wish Obsidian did some work on this game character and story wise.

Am I the only one bored with dragon attacks? They're easy for one (I fear Polar Bears more than dragons at this point) but the frequency has taken a lot of the majesty out of it. They're everywhere and overall seem pretty ineffectual doing whatever it is they are trying to do. I was hording dragon souls early on for fear I'd have to be "picy" with voices but now I've gotten to the point where I'll sepnd a soul on any old thing I find.

Yeah I've swapped through a few and they are really just "there". I don't know/care all that much about any of them at this point. I was more attached to Sebastian than these cats - literally with my new follower.

Yeah i forgot FNV was an Obsidian project, but considering their companies histories it shouldn't be hard to get Obsidian as consultants.1136342t54 wrote...

Yes, I think it would be problematic to record dialog for new quests involving any of the 30-odd possible followers in the vanilla game.
However, I don't see why they couldn't include a couple of new followers in upcoming DLC with their own quests.

Yeah, the Dragons have definitely lost the luster they had at the start. It's gotten to the point where almost every time I quick travel it's a dragon when I spawn. I'd rather it had been less dragons that were tougher. Only the Ancient dragons even put up a fight at this point.

Well I do like Lydia best since she has been with me almost since the beginning. Hell it would have been awesome if I could actually develop some sort of friendship with her throughout the game or even gain her trust. It would have made the game more entertaining. Then again Bethesda isn't known for these types of characters and interactions. Fallout 3 was closer to a better protagonist, characters and even factions.

Honestly I would be perfectly okay with not adding to much depth to the companions, characters or even major quest lines if they would put some sort of 2 player co op in this game. Basically make it like Saints Row The Third and Skyrim would be Legen wait for it....dary!

Bah! Then shorten the amount of followers in the game to about 7. I definitely only used 2 followers for long periods of time. Many of the followers are no names or just simply random mercenaries who I couldn't give much crap for.

So somehow she crossed the length of the country without meeting anyone or finding any settlement and didn't realise how far she had travelled...??
While in the bandit place I had people talk to me through walls. And the bandit leader saying she would repay the favour owed to me ..and moments after I had started to leave, looked at the carnage I caused saying "Who did this? I'll get you.." or something like that

My companion Aranea suddenly refuses to wear decent clothes... She runs around in her underwear for quite some time now. I reloaded when she died, and since then she has no robes on. Not the robes I have given her, and not her default robes. She still wears boots, gloves and the morokei mask, but not robes. I already took my robes from her inventory and gave them back, restarted the game... she is still half naked. xD
I've had my companions refuse to wear certain things - a piece of armor andf a shield - but never nothing at all. I assumed they were "locked" into their default apparel for some reason. BTW, the stuff I'm giving them is better than what they have but they just won't equip it and what they have doesn't appear in their inventory.
Mjoll equips whatever apparel I give her, as long as I smith it past what she carries (basic iron) by default. I have had some trouble getting her to wear a certain ring (+35% two-handed) to go along with the necklace (+35% two-handed) and gauntlets (+25% two-handed) she's had for quite some time, but other than that, no issue with equipment.
Weapons-wise, I have her equipped with a warhammer (Soul), great sword (Fire), bow (Soul), and four different staves (Hevnoraak's, Chain Lightning, Conjure Familiar and Revenants). She uses them all on a rotating basis.

Fear The Reaper: I use this for soul traping, put a soul trap on it.
Sword of Righteous Fire: Burns bad boys for 31 points.
Necklace of Love's Protection: Resto spells cost 25% less to cast, block is increased by 40%
Armor of The Lasting Healer: +62 health and resto spells cost 25% less to cast
Boots of Last Stand: +62 stam and +37 carrying points
Gauntlets of Hidden Energy: +62 magic and +37 carrying points
Moon Prism Power: Resto spells cost 25% less, +62 magic (it's the circlet thing you wear on your head)
Shield of Last Stand: +25% magic resistance, +62 health
The Bond of True Love: Resto spells cost 25% less, magic resistance +25%

Once the CK comes out I am going to make some good looking Pally armor with the same stats/enchants I have on the Daedric bull****. If you could not tell, this is my Paladin character.

I would prefer fewer with Obsidian-style quests and dialogue, yes. Not necessarily Bioware style because I'm kind of tired of that, and just imaging Bethsoft forums with Talimancer type threads scares me.1136342t54 wrote...

Speaking of Boone, I tried taking Erik the Slayer around thinking it would be like a Skyrim Boone and his perky fresh-faced thing was just too tiresome. lol Good on the VA for being so versatile. I got... I forget his name, the Khajiit who has you retrieve his amulet.
