And that's onot even the best part!  According to the Blacksmith, the reason his sword needed to be repaired in the first place was because he broke it. . . .swinging it at a stone wall.

Yep.  Harrald  tops my  too-dumb-to-let-live list  AND my too-annoying-to-let-live  list.  Which means I have to  kill him, then raise him, then kill him again.

As an idealisitic supporter of the Stormcloaks, it was quite amusing to use Unrelenting Force several times on the spoiled brat during one reload, and watch the him bouncing off the practice dummy. I might have kept that one, but it sorta ruined the RP when the nearest guard auto-located the Dragonborn, and asked him to stop the noise....

P.S. @ Giggles - terrific look!

LOL can't you be a little quieter when eliminating Harrald, citizen?

You know....I really think the College is one of my fave factions.

I almost wonder why Dragons keep spawning around there though.
Just now its my 3rd dragon attack in like four hours.

I really wish I could have liked the College storyline more. It felt satisfying because you never really learned anything and becoming Arch Mage was a tad contrived.
I was more put off by the former though. And then you have moustache twirling Ancano in the corner...

I liked the storyline, but I'm tired of having to become the leader of the guild every time in every game.

Also some awesome armor/robe remakes I found:

Female Deadric Armor - The first version is great and a lot better then the vanilla...the second verison is a little to much for me however.

Archmage Robes Female Retexture - Absolutely stunning in-game. However I'm tying to find some boots that match lol.

Oops. I clearly meant to say 'it felt unsatisfying because you never really learned anything...'
Heh.
I liked it a lot more than Oblivion's but I felt it could have been more. Explain the Eye and explain what its properties are. Go into more depth about Psijics and their motivations. Don't make Ancano a stupid and obvious douchebag from the get go.

Must be something in the water.  I had like 4 dragon skeletons piled up in the courtyard once.

After 400 hours I finally decided to do the main quest - WOW!

So far the part that I've done is amazing. The devs really took this main quest to another level, more engaging than the previous TES games.

There could really be a reason for the dragons showing up there a lot. The Eye being there... there is a Nord ruin called Sky Temple just across the water from the college. Who knows what used to go on there. Every time I hear the Winterhold people blame the college I can't help but think the writers are building irony for the fact that the Nords borked their own city.

That "female Daedric armor" was just what I expected it to be. *sigh* So much to cringe about at the Nexus.

Now, this is something we don't see everyday! First for me anyway!

After my pet Dremora chopped his head off, the Forsworn became more enraged than ever. Losing head is never taken lightly by some.

Video:

Pitty I only captured the last 30 seconds of it.  Spasms FTW!

Amd here I was thinking that it was an indictment of the Skyrim Education system:

the College lights that mystical staircase runway, and does not expect landings?

Or with all that weather related magic, and all those swirling fonts, the Dragons are not really landing; the College literally sucks....

P.S. Had a first yesterday, too; investigated a ruined tower that did not appear on the map. Nothing was in it, which may be the reason, but still was unusual to see.

Yrkoon- Now that is funny there. Who except for a brain dead idiot would use their sword on a wall? Someone that dumb deserves to die.

Joy Division- Well for me both the Thalmor and the Foresworn are annoying in my book. But there are more Foresworn then there are Thalmor.

Speaking of Thalmor anyone ever kill the Thalmor that show up in the understone in Markarth in search of Talos worhippers?

You have to respect an orc chief who doesn't mind getting a beatdown from a prissy high elf.

Also, I love that reanimated corpses make zombie groans.  lol

Such fiendish delight in making dead people fight their former comrades.  Come along, my pretty.

Addai67- Will have to admit that must have been cool being a female high elf and giving that orc a beat down.

 ("mandatory" update time)
After spending "Christmas" at Winterhold College, Korrin set out again (killing another dragon before leaving Winterhold).
She returned to Whiterun to check on Lydia and her home (and drop off some stuff) and set off again (killing vengeful necromancer number 2).
A different necromancer had a bad week, first Korrin snuck in, killed skeleton minions, emptied out a chest (to retrieve a staff), then after the necromancer had restored the skeletons and refilled the chest, Korrin snuck in again (this time after an ebony waraxe [family heirloom]) from the chest..and this time killed the necromancer.
Other fetch quests completed included getting wiches' heads, books and fragments of a wepon and returning to Whiterun getting caught up in a fight against an icewraith, a frostbite spider and a dragon.
As a Dunmer, Korrin was uncomfortable with a weapon especially deadly to elves but would be even less comfortable if anyone else had it.
After becoming Harbinger for the companions, Korrin decided to go into the Thalmar embassy -this got a bit messy but she made it out okay.
Then, the ancient ruins and returning to the college as a crisis begins to unfold...and Korrin has a strange premonition about an elder dragon who wants to use her as a chew toy....continued next week

I've had so many dragons spawn above the College. It's hilarious because every time it seems to happen, there's a large number of mages out. Poor dragon is down in no time.

This play through I've not had to many spawn above the college. It's mainly Riverwood where they like to spawn.

There's one of those near Bleak Falls Barrow.  It doesn't have a map icon

I'm at a point where the mages have enough other problems...and are too busy panicking to go outside to fight a random dragon

My god one of my plans ACTUALLY worked.

Here I sit at level 18 Arch-mage of the College.
With all my gear now I really have a PC that works for me.
[snip, picture removed]

The Mask of Morokei, the Arch-Mages Robes, and Spell Breaker all create one powerful set up I would say.

Congratulations on your success! I really like your build concept a lot. Aren't enemy archers firing from different angles causing you problems?

I considered trying to copy your build idea, but finally decided against it. A shield doesn't sit very well with a stealthy character.... and I will need both hands to cast some spells (for example dual-cast illusions or Impact destruction spells). I am a bit afraid to go the temporary Mage Armor route  (and waste a ton of Magicka in the process), so I guess I'll try light armor after all. I checked and I shouldn't need many perks to hit the armor cap (like 5... but I will want glass or maybe even dragonscale, so 7) - and there are supposedly NO enemies with armor penetration capabilities. Plus some enchanting after all - for resistances, cheaper spells and Magicka regeneration - and I should be good.

Still I'm happy that the Shield Spell build works for you. Props!

Now I'll have to admit one thing about Skyrim the misc. quests for both the Companions and the Thieves guild are to repetitive if you ask me. I just takes to many of the same quests over and over again to get to a certain point.

Take the compaions for example I've been doing misc quest for them 3 or 4 days stragight reg. days not in game to try and get the part where can cure the brothers and yourself of being a werewolf and after god knows how many misc. quests I've done I've still not gotten it. How many do you've got to do any way?

I'm about to give up with it and move on and finish out my last Daedric quest and do the Civil war quests as the comanions are starting to get tedious.

The quests are linked to lines of dialogue in speaking to them; rather hidden like the disease itself. I received my requests on the first attempt for both.

And I never wanted to try lycanthropy; simply wanted to see the Companions storyline arc for a change.

Ah but does anything actually change if you cure it? For me it still disabled being a vampire, guards diologue didn't change....nothing really happened, I just made my list of powers slightly shorter, and lost a weakness to weapons no one actually uses....
