Ah but does anything actually change if you cure it? For me it still disabled being a vampire, guards diologue didn't change....nothing really happened, I just made my list of powers slightly shorter, and lost a weakness to weapons no one actually uses....
This, plus I never had to RP eating on the flesh of others; something I never wanted to do in the name of fun or amusement. I saw the PC as a werewolf one time; never attacked anyone, and then got myself cured. The price is having guards and game stats still say I have the disease; worth it.

Now I'll have to admit one thing about Skyrim the misc. quests for both the Companions and the Thieves guild are to repetitive if you ask me. I just takes to many of the same quests over and over again to get to a certain point.
Take the compaions for example I've been doing misc quest for them 3 or 4 days stragight reg. days not in game to try and get the part where can cure the brothers and yourself of being a werewolf and after god knows how many misc. quests I've done I've still not gotten it. How many do you've got to do any way?
I'm about to give up with it and move on and finish out my last Daedric quest and do the Civil war quests as the comanions are starting to get tedious.
I think the one for Farkas is bugged. You can't get it unless you reject Vilkas' cure quest (and then do that one afterwards). Though if his quest isn't starting either, then I don't know.

One reason I am a poor mage; while I can take out targets as an Archer, I am unable to hit much with direct fire Spells. Give me some AoE incantations, or get them close enough to use Novice based concentration magic, and I am fine, but the only thing I generally hit with the others is the cold hard ground.
Enjoy it for me!

The Adept-level Destruction spells are good for that. I have poorer aim with spells than with archery (mostly because I can sneak-kill with that), but a good ol' Fireball spell can be thrown on the ground and hurt everyone in the vicinity. Doesn't add the impact stagger though.

Get ice Storm~ Great damage, great AoE, good utility, easy to aim and it looks pretty! :3Elhanan wrote...

Heard some voices before that it's too easy... but I for one am very happy that they didn't turn Alduin into an MMO Raid Boss, with a health bar of a million minions... or with only one, arcade way to dodge his attacks and defeat him, possibly in several different "stages", perhaps using some contraption conveniently laying there to fight him.

I dunno; rather enjoy using the many catapults and traps that pepper the land of Skyrim. Or fighting an Undead or Dragon that must be made vulnerable before landing attacks.
This is what was meant; correct?

I was dissapointed with the first major dark brotherhood contract when I found neither of the catapults lit the oil on fire.Elhanan wrote...

I am a high elf and actually wanted to be pro-Thalmor, but the main quest has forced me to kill Thalmor in their ambassy (I thought I would still get the opportunity to side with them while I was at the party, but that turned out not to be the case...). So, yeah, kind of a messy first play through. Still having fun exploring though.

I am a bit at a loss roleplaying wise with my first character. I'm still too much in "accept all the quests!"-mode after DA, and I can't get out of it, haha. So my character is quite psychotic, helping people and at the same time being pretty evil. The only consistency I've managed is that I'm doing all the Daedric quests, and I've only joined the College with my mage. And I've joined the Rebellion just to make the Empire pay for trying to cut off my head.

I thought you could avoid combat in the embassy if you wear Hooded Thalmor Robes with a High Elf?

I don't know about that. I don't have those robes, and Delphine forced me to wear those party clothes. Where should I have gotten those robes? It's too late now anyway... When I was forced to kill the first guards, I put on their light elven armor, but I was still attacked by other guards.

I read on the Wikia that the robes and other Thalmor clothing found in rooms may get a High Elf past Guards, but it seemed fairly conditional and a little buggy.
So embrace your inner rebel, and know that you left a group of racists to join others, and do what you can to change those perceptions., though accepting Daedric worship might not be the best first step....

Yes that there is a known bug that you've got to turn down the one brother and do the other brother first. But I can't get it to come up at all. this play through. I think my next play through I'm going to turn it down as far as becoming a wereworlf.

Maybe when your about too reach that far you can just inquire about being a werewolf alot, if I remember right this causes the Companions to become hostile.Redneck1st wrote...

Could be more fun on a roleplay Aspect.

I'll have to agree with you I enjoy doing most of the Daedra quests as well and had made it a point this play through to do everyone of them. And I have as well I'm currently working on the last one down then I'd have completed all 16 daedric quests in the game.

It shouldn't cause them to turn hostile after all it should be your choice as to whether or not you become a werewolf after all it's your body not thiers.

I need to do a few more, hehe. I am currently doing the one for Boethiah (same voice as Meridia (Meredith)?). Ehm.. let me think how many I've done so far... seven, I think. Boethiah would be eight then. Hmm, I have a lot more to go then.

To complete them all yes you do. One of them you only get through the thieves guild questline though. Now are you trying to do them all in your current play through?
Also if you've not done so yet go to the Inn in whiterun and ask about rumors ask about them all.
