Arivanya, also works at the stables. She isn't too impressed with him, says he's dull. If you play Blood on the Ice a certain way, she ends up dead. Problem solved? lol

Lol.I didn't know they were married. I don't remember ever seeing her near the stables... or anywhere else, except in the Blood on the Ice quest. But I'm not exactly known for my attention to details. Either way, she'd still be alive in my playthrough. It makes me sad  that she thinks he's dull :( He seems to be happy, though, so it can't be that bad.

I've played all of them now, I think the mage guild quest line was my favorite guild quest line, though the personalities feel more fleshed out in the Companions.  Helps that you can marry one of them, so you actually feel like they're a family after you're done, unlike the TG.  The DB had the most surprises and inventiveness.

So I got my girl's smithing up to get Ebony, only to discover the ebony armor has the boob plate.  Gah.  She will stay in orcish armor.  I had never seen the orcish helmet before.  Scary!!  I... kind of like it.  It's a samurai vibe, right?  I think the orcs in TES are like the dwarves in DA.  They aren't actually more badass than any other PC, but the badass is more believable on them.  I could have done without the upturned wings on the pauldrons.

She's Harbinger now, has some new armor, time to go marry Farkas.

A two-worded Storm Call Shout worked fairly well for me at Alduin's Wall this trip; my first time to get them before this point. It seemed to ground the Elder Dragon, fried a lot of folks on the walls, and took some starch from the various Mages running around the place. Plus my Companions were essential, so no Friendly Fire issues. All in all tthis was a decent run.

Note: While my Mage lacks a bit of health compared to some suggested builds, playing a Breton Mage Hunter has its perks, as the Dragon Priests are far less formidable if one is well covered in Resist Magic. It is the Draugr Deathlords that are cause for concern. For them, the spell of choice was Bound Bow; bonuses for both Conjuration and Archery, plus the purple arrows. The latter comes in kinda handy for spotting the bodies after a skirmish, too.

Of course, there may some concern over too much violets in current games.... *bazinga*

One of my favorite quests probably has to be Ill Met by Moonlight. It's just such a great quest with an amazing atmosphere.

Though I was a bit disappointed when Aela didn't remark upon talking with Hircine.

And I think the pic on the ES wiki captures the beauty and badassery of the quest very well:

So, question for you guys!
After figuring out that arrows can be plucked out of the air, I got an idea~
Using Telekinesis would it be possible to apply poisons?
As in, I equip a weapon, poison it, drop it, then throw it at someone to apply a toxin?
Because if its possible "Throwing poisoned steel greatswords at people with my mind" is going to be my new favorite playstyle.

Favorite quest-chain has to be the Dark Brotherhood. It's fantastic, and just goes all over the place. So many great moments, so many interesting and fun personalities, but your final Sacrament and then your reply that the contract is still on...you just *know* people are about to get all messed up.

Favorite interaction with a Daedric Prince has to be Sheogorath. He's just so utterly mental you can't help but kind of like him...all the while measuring him up wondering how long you could last if he decided killing you would be an interesting distraction.

I know, right? Just attach a self-destruct button over my sternum why don't you? Might as well have "press gently here to kill user" written in between the girls.

Did you try Less Sexual Female Armour yet? Or is that with it? (I wasn't keen the look of some of the armour with that mod)

Grind a little more for Daedric Armor.  I'm a guy who likes curves, but I think vanilla Daedric Armor looks perfectly fine on a female charactor.  (I gave the ebony a miss as well and stuck with orcish til daedric).

My second charactor is a female Altmer Nightblade.  Got the form-hugging "assassin" armor early via the "righteous" way.  I've been wanting to have her in Elven Armor but the vanilla is rather dirty so dragged it out til someone put up the Mystic Elven Armor Mod.  Not for breast-plate haters, but IMO it was lovely work.

My fave quest chain is actually the Forsworn Conspiracy.
Seriously it showcases Black vs Black morality better than any other quest in the entire game.

My fave Daedric quest though had to be A Night to Remember.
Sanguine is my fave prince because he does not run around in a booming voice demanding that I go murder other people. He never says "DO THIS I COMMAND IT!".

Seriously his quest was fun because outside of that giant and hagraven no one really got killed or maimed along the way.
If I was to worship a Daedra....it probably would be Sanguine in all honesty.

Then again I also like Malacath since he actually seems to give a damn about his followers and care for them. Like in: http://www.uesp.net/...Madness,_v._XII

While that story may not be true at least it paints him as someone who actually feels anything close to caring about those who worship him.

Also upon reading the wiki it seems that the Redguards and Bretons sacked the Orc homeland AGAIN.
Wow those guys get all the bad luck,

Ditto.  Sanguine has  always  been my favorite Daedra Prince.  Skyrim just made me like him even more.

You know Volendrung is a very useful weapon right now.

I mean eventually being able to ignore 75% of an enemies armor is pretty cool,
I only feel bad with one attack where you smack someone in the head so hard it comes off.

Ooh, that has promise.  I don't mind the form-fitting light armor because leather does conform.  The shapely contoured metal plate just makes me think "whyyyy."

I don't like the daedric because I'm not much for the spiky death lord look.  Hence why I say I could have done with more realistic pauldrons on the orcish, as well.  It's kind of a shame that dragonbone armor is so ugly.  Oh well, I will put those perks elsewhere.

edit- That elven armor retex looks really good!

I love Volendrung. I haven't done that quest yet, but my Orc is getting excited to do it! I'm right in the middle of Molag Bal, and just got Mehrunes Razor before that. Too bad that thing is such a stinker of a weapon. It usually sits in a weapon rack for the entire playthrough.

I found a "new" location last night that I'd never been to - Liar's Retreat. Apparently in my other playthroughs, I'd walked by it, but never walked in.

I was quite surprised by what I found there. Nevermind the falmer breaching through the wall, and attacking the bandits, or the fact that one of the bandits was locked up in a room, talking to himself. The real prize was the Longhammer, which is my new favorite weapon.

I'm using battleaxes in this run, and was surprised to find out that the Longhammer, while it's a warhammer, swings as fast, if not faster, than a battleaxe. It actually weighs less than my skyforge steel battleaxe, too. Crazy.

I'd recommend it for all Orcs.  Image IPB

My orc is sword and shield. I'm liking it. You get a nice shield from Ysgramor's tomb.

It seems they are teasing the idea of the Falmer coming back to take vengeance. Darkwater Crossing, and the Companion quest where they kidnap someone. Speaking of Darkwater Crossing, I plan to head there soon and try out Derkeethus as a follower.

I think you're right; the Falmer do seem to be subtlely encroaching on civilization. I wouldn't be surprised if they make a BIG comeback.

In regard to Darkwater Crossing, I recruited that Annekke Crag-Jumper as a follower over the weekend. She's got Lydia's voice, but isn't "sworn to carry your burdens", which is nice. What isn't nice is that she gets cranky when you're trespassing (and I'm sure it gets progressively worse if you do other bad things). Sorry, lady, Drelas is dead. I'm sure he won't notice if I take his health potion.

Oh hey, have you guys done the Rise in the East quest? Apparently I'm really bad at actually opening doors (so is my husband), because neither of us had even gone into that East Empire door on the Windhelm docks until I did last night.

I thought that quest was pretty fun (pretty short, really), but it was awesome to run to the ship through cannonball blasts at the end.

LOL Is it a legendary pickaxe?

I did Rise in the East, but won't do it again. "Oops, sorry we dropped firebombs on you." Also they seem pretty corrupt, trying to put other shippers out of business. The pirates are practicing Robin Hood diplomacy as far as I can see.

^ LOL I don't think so. From what I've read, if you remove his pickaxe, and give it back to him, he won't equip anything in that hand. And he wont' equip anything else in that hand. He might equip a weapon in the other hand. Regardless, it seems bugged to me.

Yeah, I felt pretty dirty stealing the log book from the dark elf next door. Especially since she was the same one getting harrassed by two Nords the first time you walk into Windhelm.

Well I just did Ill met by moonlight and have to say sparing that guy makes me feel okay.

Then when Hircine says its even better that you took down all the hunters, I was a bit impressed.
Overall that was freaking awesome tearing through the hunters as two werewolves.

Only draw back is you cant open doors...ah well.

Do you like werewolf form, Giggles? I never use it. It seemed weak when I tried it so I just don't think about it. I'm going to end up being very indecisive when it comes to the point of deciding whether to take the cure or not. Kodlak makes a good case for why that was a bad decision and the Companions should go back to normal warriors.

A combination of the fear howl, and knock down power attack makes it VERY powerful.

Save it for enemy mages though since:
A) They will be running to much to fight
B) They die quickly when knocked down
C) Payback via being mauled is awesome.

It sucks against giants, and dragons and the undead, ESPECIALLY dragon priests.
Use it against living humanoid foes since feeding brings your health back, and without those types of foes present...well it takes a lot of skills not to get squished.

Mostly its my preferred anti-mage tactic to use, and seeing those nasty frost using mages scatter in terror is awesome. The trade off is that well most people are hostile and you have to do it away from the fight or get mobbed to death while changing.

Then again knowing this is the last thing that some annoying mage saw:
http://cloud.steampo...9E80276C7DD9C6/
Is its own reward.

Oh and you are immune to any disease as well as a werewolf.
