There should've been an option in the game to wipe out both Imperials and Stormcloaks, and rule Skyrim with your dragon armada with Paarthurnax as second-in-command.

Pity, though, that Skyrim is such a backwater hellhole. There's not really much worth ruling in the end. Then again, it's also quite a suitable place for such a ho-hum hero as the Dragonborn to waste away in.

At least the Nerevarine and Champion of Cyrodiil are chilling in respectively Tosh-Raka's court and the Shivering Isles.

Last night, I stumbled upon a place called Tolvald's Cave, which is on the Eastern side of the map, south of Mzulft. (Apparently if you get all the stones of Barenziah, you go here at the end). It's a pretty big dungeon, with lots of loot, and some books/ghosts along the way that tell of an unfortunate expedition gone awry.

But anyway, WOW. Falmer haven, to be sure. I just keep thinking that it's insane how many Dwemer ruins there are underground, with Falmer living in them. They must span underneath all of Skyrim, especially considering that Blackreach connects to many of them.

A Falmer invasion at some point sure seems imminent. Falmer and those icky Chaurus.

Without the blades, Dovahkiin would probably be chilling with the greybeards practicing the (useless) way of the voice while Alduin laid waste to the world. The blades are the only ones who seem to be actively trying to stop Alduin.

The Blades provide a nice Inn. great historical records, and examples of what may happen if one chooses idealism over the common interest. Max/ Esbern is correct when he mentions the wisdom in placing such self-interests aside when the entire world is coming to an end; too bad the Blades as a whole do not heed his advice once again.

And Paarth as the so-called Master of the Voice allows his brethren apparent freedom of expression. When one wishes to keep the Dragonborn from seeking Dragonrend, another reminds them that this is not their call to make. In the Blades, all we seem to see is more intollerance from another faction.

I love Max; wish he could have stayed around longer, but he chose his affiliations poorly.

BTW - The VO for Paarth is terrific; great voice, and well acted. This even makes listening to a foreign tongue entertaining and enjoyable, muich like a gifted voice in the opera for me. While I dislike the fields, I admire the talent.

The Falmer story of choice for me is Frostflow Lighthouse ; truly despicable setting that eliminates any empathy I had for the accursed race. Plus one gets an ability and a Bug in a Jar as bonuses!

Q: Can Enchanterment create full Immunity items; not just Resist? Thanks!

That would be kind of fun to deal with a Falmer invasion of Skyrim.

Like meeting one that can actually talk or something.

Chauuuruuuus

I freaked out when I saw a few above ground, near Morthal. Hate those things. The CLICKING.

Which is why disintegrating them is very fun.
Also cathartic.

I dont like insects in real life and I HATE giant ones in video games.
I nearly got sick playing DA2 when spiders came down from the ceiling.

Have you seen the giant mudcrab carcass? I was merrily picking the wings off butterflies when I panned back and realized what they were perched on. Holy crap.

Is that the giant mud crab in the animal totem quest? But I also get massively distracted by butterflies it's much a case of "oh I haven't seen that one, it's so nice" I then feel all girly and need to punch a dragon on the nose.

Discovered a surprising effect yesterday; Kyne's Peace Shout is way more helpful than originally thought.

While moving down the path towards my intended location, a huge bear was spotted sleeping on the cobblestone bricks. Rather than choosing to sneak past or kill the bruin, I decided to try the 3 worded Shout and simply avoid the issue, and it worked as intended. The bear was awakened for a bit, but all was left unscathed.

A little bit later, one of the eagle-eyed wandering brigands (personally I believe these must be out of work couriers, but I digres) approached my 100+ Stealthed Dragonborn, and demanded my gold, and would not take No for an apt reply, and attacked. Almost faster than I could cast a Cloak spell, three deer and a pack of wolves beset upon the thugs little head, and I stood back and enjoyed the show; felt like an honorary Spriggan!

^ I did see that in my first playthrough. It's in the same region as Deadman's Cairn, isn't it? I had a similar scenario/realization, but mine involved running toward a dragon while looking up...then running right into it.

In regard to Chaurus, that clicking is terrifying. The first time I saw them, I had stumbled upon 3 of them at one time, and got my arse handed to me repeatedly. That crap they spit at you does some serious damage!

@Giggles - I felt the same way. I hated those stupid spiders. I jumped every single time I had to deal with them. Adding a free heart attack to the DA2 gaming experience did not give me the warm fuzzies.

@ Charaus - not as bad for me with Poison Immunity, but was a bit put off when a used a Throw Voice Shout to get them together for some AoE actions, and there were more little red dots that appeared than I cared to count. And I used a sim clicking in PnP to describe giant spiders; used a handful of die in my hands to provide the effect. Apparently it works rather well....

Worst thing for me are the surprise moments: companions, undead, spider-workers, camo-covered opponents, etc that were passed by in error, and suddenly jump into the fracus. Thanks for that....

Why not just shove me from my chair directly, and skip the cost of game design?!! *CLEAR; Puh-Chunk!*

Ever come across the cave near Windhelm where the frostbite spiders have been trapping mammoths? That was also pretty O_O. The inner room of the dungeon is called the "broodlair." Wonderful.

Kyne's Peace is useless to me because I want pelts.  Everything must die in my wake, that's just the way it is.

I agree 100%. By far my favorite track in the game, and I love ALL the music. But this one is just something else. When it comes on in game I set down the controller and just watch everything happening in Whiterun and listen tbh

Speaking of beauty...Markarth seems to have the best night skies of any place in Skyrim. It's probably just coincidence, but every single time I'm there at night, the sky is amazing - bright blues and purples, sometimes pinks. Just gorgeous.

That's a track recycled from Morrowind. So of course it's awesome.

Oddly I can only recall the theme of Morrowind.

But I can recall most of the music in Skyrim.
Still thinking on it I really cant wait to start my Khajiit assassin.

Imagine Zevran but with NONE of his redeeming qualities.

Sounds somewhat like Saren from ME1; may even look like him, too.

Saren had some redeeming qualities....
Such as being insane.

On a different note, I just crafted Daedric Armor. Should I focus on enchanting it?
