I would have thought that the armors that show a lot of skin are the minority.JasonPogo wrote...
On a random note! I love this game but every single armor set looks so dumb in this game! If it is snowing everywhere you go why do all the armors and clothing show so much skin?

While other fantasy worlds would already have gunpowder and flintlock guns 200 years after Oblivion (though of course, the only race with the intellect and technical know-how is long gone), Nirn just goes back into time.

Then again, a LOT of fantasy art has women in plate bikinis. I guess people have the idea that's what fantasy armor should look like.
As logical as it would be to make everyone wear functional winter gear when in a wintery setting, the notion just doesn't make for good fantasy. And eye candy for young boys (and old ones like me
And for that matter, forget the cold weather element. For as long as I've been gaming, Mages have been a staple in any combat scenario, even though the thought of a brainy, skinny man/woman wearing a robe into battle is equally jarring, as their instant death the second a blade is swung at them should be guaranteed. It's not, however, and I'm totally fine with that.
Lastly, doesn't TES lore explain why Nords probably wouldn't need to cover up from head to toe when out in Skyrim's harsh weather? (something about being resistant to cold?) That's also a good enough explanantion for me. Besides, according to just about every single Guard in this game, we all got Fur coming out of our ears, so we're probably not feeling the full bone chilling effects of the frigid air anyway..

However, I tried out the Less Sexual Female Armor mod and it made my orc look like a gorilla. The arms were really big and bowed out. So, she'll just stay in orc armor, and fortunately I don't mind that so much even with the spiky pauldrons.

Finding gear you like, and with good stats.
Luckily male armor looks useful and from Dwemer up can be used into the end game.

With some luck, we can get some Horse Armor. All jokes aside, I really hope that the horses get updated to a point where they have more use.Giggles_Manically wrote...

On this encounter I had a frost dragon and a blood dragon attacking me at the same time. I'm not ashamed to admit I put the difficulty down. It was just too annoying to have both of them doing fly-by's, one zapping me with fire and the other with frost, and having to spam potions.
About DLC... I just found out that even when it eventually comes out, it will be released for XBox 360 a month before the rest of us get it. *sadface* If any of you post spoilers, I will END you.

unfortunately for both them and my pc I summoned 2 Dremora Lords and with Jenassa took them on, for my mage the 200 health I had would mean the death of me when the ancient dragon fire-breathed me. So it took a couple of reloads.
For my merc fighter chic, needs lots of potions and she still has found no enchanted jewellery that's forth using, all magicka related or inceasing skills she doesn't use (no magic/enchanting for her)
oh and just noticed there's a weapon plaque above the entrance in Breezehome..... 326hrs in

Because
Now they just keep coming up to me and trying to kill me, and I can't do jack **** about it except kill them or run away.
Bethesda has some horrendous QA. If they let these game-breaking bugs get past them, then they aren't really doing their job as well as they should.
Hopefully the 1.4 patch won't be delayed for us PS3 people for too much longer
EDIT: Oh thank God! I just figured out a way to solve it, at least until Bethesda officially fixes it. All I had to do was go into the Shrine of Talos Temple and surrender to the guards -- though two started attacking me immediately as I went in so I had to take a good beating -- and then that allowed for me to officially pay off my bounty with acceptance.
Still had to kill off the guards and accrue a bounty, but then once I paid that bounty off, the Markarth guards now recognize that the quest was completed.

For the sanctuary to be complete, it needs a Smithy, Arcane Enchanter, a lockpicking area, maybe an obstacle course, and as I said a few more recruits. Preferably randomly named recruits and not generically named recruits.
Though this might require an extension of the original Dawnstar Sanctuary's area. Still, the lack of these things kinda makes the Sanctuary seem.... less fit for Assassins.
IMO.
Perhaps we could get a quest arc DLC that deals with the Brotherhood, and at the end these things along with maybe a repaired Falkreath Sanctuary can be bought?

Random screenshot for random reasons
Proof that just about every MINUTE of this game is art.
I'm gonna need to get the PC version now, just so I can take some epic and beautiful screenshots. I'll recreate my Nordic character and take a screenshot of him in Werewolf form howling at a blood red moon -- which I do think happen outside of the one quest that has it as a staple -- around a beautiful Aurora Borealis.
How do you guys take these screenshots anyway when playing PC games?

What I did to make such needs is to takeover leadership of the Thieve's Guild in Riftin since they were tied to the DB anyway. While I am not completely sold on all of the asscociated quests, the finished goal can be motivational to get everyone under one command. Plus, it gives some secret pleasure to know that Maven has little recourse to use against me.
And the beautiful evening skies seem to appear more often after using the Clear Skies Shout; unconfirmed.

F12 on steam, has its own built in SS manager and uploader (saves to HD too, you choose to upload or not), or just use printscreen copy paste...

Using the impact perk.
Or having a mix of the Lord Stone AND the Blessing of Mara.
Thankfully the divine quests are not like the Daedric quests really.
I did get into a debate with someone who said that the Divine were NOT really gods since they never really "manifested" themselves.
Since he never played Morrowind I could almost forgive him since you do meet: Zenithar, Talos, and Mara.
However he did play Oblivion...and really did he miss the entire Knights of the Nine and ENDING of the game?
That was Akatosh beating the snot out of Dagon, and the Divines do give you very powerful blessings. They just dont run around knocking stuff down and killing people just because they can.
Also its kind of odd that the Thalmor dont object to Arkay being in the pantheon since one of the origin stories has him being a man at one time as well.
One the whole though maybe the Thalmor did not really care about a god whose domain was funerals and everything.

Bit of a rant here, but I'm kinda annoyed that Morthal, Dawnstar, Winterhold and Falkeath have no houses you can purchase. I find a ton of s**t when I go out dungeon crawling, and it's nice to have a home where you can stash all that crap you collected so you can sell it off later.
EDIT: Not to mention a badass House Carl to accompany you when needed.
Quicktravel?...
Also Dragon Born Hero or not, most nobles don't have more than 1-2 houses, you can purchase several in Skyrim, I've got 3 already in one of my accts, not bothering with anything more, plus I can store my giant gear collections in any one house although 2 of them have the majority of my gear.

Has anyone tried a build like this? Did you use summons the entire game or did your stealth eventually become so high that no one could detect you even out in the open?

I'm thinking of trying a new build, but I am not sure if it will work out in the end. I want to try a Wood Elf thief that focuses on stealth and archery which I have done a little before, but this time I want to work on conjuration too (which seems lore friendly enough). I want to summon the elemental deadra when I am out in the open and more easy to spot. Since I won't use companions this time (they give my position away too easily), I thought the summons could serve as tanks when I needed one. The only thing is I am not sure if I would end up using the summons enough once my stealth got high to justify putting that many points into magicka when they could go into health and stamina instead.

i'm actually making a imperial thief/ archer/ rogue. I'm thinking about learning some Illusion magic also, to make it easier to sneak around and get the benefits of illusion magic.

I have done this successfully in at least two builds; one utilizing more spell use than the other. While the larger summons look swell on paper, I find that the basic Fire or Frost (and the occasional found Storm scroll) to be enough, and the perks go better elsewhere (eg; Smithing, Restoration, etc).
With Stealth getting full perks and Archery gaining all but Ranger & Hunter's Discipline, this by itself makes running solo quite effective. I have yet to take any followers unles they are forced upon the quest, esp the imfamous hunting or talking dogs.
