I had one miscellaneous quest where I released a necromancer from a spider web, and had to escort her out of the cave. We got all the way up to the "To Skyrim" prompt, and she just stood there. I went outside, and she was still inside. Over and over. Finally, I had to FUS-RO-DAH her to get her out the door. To my shock and amazement, it worked.

On a sidenote, I used Borgakh the Steel Heart as a follower all weekend, and she was quite competent. She seems to have a better AI than a lot of the followers I've tried.

When is the 1.4 patch going to be out for XBox? I keep finding weird little bugs that weren't bugs before, and they're piling up in my quest log, as though they're unfinished. "Talk to the Jarl in Riften". Waa, I already did.
Hmmm....hard to say. Bethesda is still releasing updates for the beta patch on the PC.

She's very good. I gave her some health-enchanted stuff and a drain blade and she hasn't been on her knee once, at level 35. She is tagged for archery and seems to use it quite a bit as well as sword/shield, so I think she stays out of fire.happy_daiz wrote...
^ Haha, nice. That happens every time I kill Maluril for the DB in Mzinchaleft. He drops through the floor, then bubbles back up through it. It's truly a sight to behold.

Plus orc women are just cool.

Amen, sister.
She hasn't dropped to a knee for me, either, and I'm right around level 35 now. I put her in Boethiah's Ebony Mail (and the rest of the Ebony set), handed her Molag Bal's mace and some soul gems (and a few health pots), and an Ebony shield enchanted with Block, and she's been great. Malacath would be so proud.

Okay, I'm just going to throw this out there...Anyone else at 400 hours (or something comparable) and still playing the original character you started with on 11-11-11?
400 hours!? 400?
Damn, I still haven't finished the main quest for my first (and only) character so far! I really haven't played it much for the past 5 weeks or so- pretty similar to how I played Fallout 3 now that I think of it- I played through most of the game, almost got to the ending and then left it and forgot about it while other games came out.
But once the Creation Kit hopefully comes out soon I'll get back into it with more mods. I think I'm at around 100 hours or so on my main character.

Yeah, I'm sort of embarassed by that Brock, but what the heh...
I just downloaded my second copy of Skyrim from Steam, and will now commence a serious playthrough...after I've squeezed the last drop of life out of this character, of course.
Now to take advantage of mods and screenshots..and the CK when avail!
EDIT: Really going to miss my level 60 skills and badass armor and weapons, when I have to start all over again with nothing.

I haven't found her yet but so far loving having Mjoll watching my back. Perfect team of mage and warrior and she has yet to die which is a good sign.happy_daiz wrote...

She's hidden away in one of those Orc fortresses.
Spouses are such assets in Skyrim. I was half-expecting something more like Fable 2 spouses (do nothing but cost you money) but they are great.
I generally don't travel with mine though. Leave her in the house and it makes the place a one-stop-shop. Sell the crap you don't need to the spouse, store the crap you don't want to sell or can't sell (I often have like 5k worth of jewelry I made stored because of limited shop cash

Mjoll technically can't die. I also used to have Barbas (the dog), so I had two unkillable followers at one time, but he just got in the way too much.

In Riften I help Shadr pay off his debts by talking to Sapphire in the Bee and Barb. I exited the B&B and (poof!) there was no floor under me and I fell right into the drink. I'm currently watching all of Riften's residents walk off what little remains of the plank flooring on the main level and drop right into the water beneath. The whole town is pretty much swimming as of now.

There's some sort of weird bug happening with my spouse. I married her and she literally disappeared, can't find her at home or the place where she originally lived:blink:Volus Warlord wrote...

No time limitations on the shop and with perks can serve as a fence as well. Just wish I had some control over what kinda stuff she sells. Don't mind the extra money either.

^I had a similar bug in Whiterun. I walked out of breezehome and headed towards the city exit when I noticed the front gate was connected to... nothing. There were no walls. At that point, The adventurer in me decided to try and walk through the space where the walls used to be. Sadly, that didn't work. My character was blocked by an invisible force field. Damn Dwemer inventions!Barbarossa2010 wrote...

Damn. I only have 64 hours on my first guy. He really wasn't a serious character just a tester for the stories and what not. He did very little dungeon exploring. Just mainly faction quests and main storyline. No mods either for him. I've been playing since 11-11-11 too. Although holidays+busted computer+re-running Mass Effect have cut into my time. I also dug out my N64 and probably logged 150 hours on my old games with my gf since November lol.
However I just recently shelved him went on a mod installing spree for my second character a male Nord Spellsword. I'm going to roleplay him and whatnot. I thought I'd be a Stormcloak before the game released, but the Stormcloaks aren't exactly as appealing as I thought. Ulfric in particular is an ass. However the Empire seems like a nation at its end. It is like; join Rome as it falls or roll the dice with a tyrant leading a bunch of bigots. Meh both aren't as bad as the Thalmor, but neither are really good options. The playthrough is still young though. I just got Lydia. The only thing I've decided for sure so far is Blades can go to hell.

Yeah, I managed to run up a flight of stairs to...well...nothing really, just the top stair because there was no floor attached anymore, then jumped over to a still present part of the main flooring, and was able from there to duck into Honeyside. Came back out and everything was back to normal...well...as normal as it can be in Riften. Would've reloaded if that hadn't worked.
Funny glitch.

Don't take it personal; happens in every wedding I have chosen. Try reloading the wedding from the Auto-Save, then grab her before the priest finishes all the pretty speak before the spouse gets out the door.
Romance and marriage is by far the worst part of the game; the rest is so much better.
