Wonder what the checking process is going to be for mods on Steam.
It would be different from the nexus since its attached to valve now and mods they release will get tied into their name if its on their service.
People were mad enough at nude tomb raider mods even though the developers had nothing to do with it back then, so there might be some back lash here and there.

I usually go for that old woman that wanted to be a Companion in the Whiterun Inn. Fist fighting her wasn't enough, i usually use her for the sacrifice lol40 at most.
I get sick of people hating on her because she's not some fawning princess. Bunch of milk drinkers.

Well, apparently the take-over of Skyrim continues... they have ported Geralt of Rivia himself, complete with Raven armor... For your amusement, here are some of the Skyrim mods with Witcher stuff in them. One thing I have to say, while they still look better than anything in Skyrim, the W2 models look awful in Bethesda's rendering engine, as compared to how they look within W2, even at the lowest settings.
And an observation: if CDProjekt would just release and editor for the game, and a couple tools/tutorials for packing/unpacking meshes, it could get interesting around here
Geralt himself

Iorweth

Triss' outfit (there are a few similar mods, plus a bunch of retextures)

Triss' head(which automatically makes the best looking female model in the game)

Helmets and knight armors

Witcher and knight armors, including Letho's and female version of Iorweth (although he put Letho's on a scrawny dude)

Do you take requests? I'm sure we could come up with some!CrustyBot wrote...
Their dialogue creation and structuring tools are much more impressive than what they had in previous toolsets. Looks very nice.
I haven't played Skyrim for almost a month now and I dunno if I honestly feel like getting back in to mod like I had planned (it's hard to mod for a game you're not really interested in playing anymore and that's assuming I have the talent to make good mods to begin with), but that CK video has made the idea a little more appealing.
God I hope not.naughty99 wrote...

There will be a report button and I imagine any mods that violate the Steam TOS will be reported.
With tens of thousands of mod files, Valve will need to rely on end users to check this sort of thing.

Companion horses should be a priority mod.
Or horseback combat.
I mean until one or both of those comes out no horses for me.

If they're going to start placing rigid rules/limitations on the modding community, then what's the point (from the modder's perspective) of placing the mods on Steam in the first place?
By making these mods accessable to Steam, They're on to something big, something that could potentially revolutionize the industry. I hope they're smart about this. At the very most, mods containing adult content should get their own section, clearly flagged as "ADULT", with the adequate warnings. And nothing more.

I think most of us can agree...that THIS mod is not the kind of one that we want to get into general public knowledge.

Yes the new patch is out but as one who has beta tested the patch it's fixed some things like quest items still remaining in inventory but it did break one of the Daedric quests. And me and several others tried to tell them this but it seems they didn't fix it with the release of the patch. This is one of the reasons for which I hate a game that auto updates.

You can disable auto update : open Steam, select library, select Skyrim, right click and select
properties, select updates, then choose "do not automatically update
this game", close.
