Okay, I'm just going to throw this out there...Anyone else at 400 hours (or something comparable) and still playing the original character you started with on 11-11-11?

While I didn't start with my Nord on Skyrim's release and instead started when I got it on Christmas, I think I've got over 200 or over 300 hours logged.

I've had a lot of free time lately. Plus, it's -20 to 13 degrees outside here in Michigan usually, so I tend to stay indoors, especially since my truck's CD player doesn't work in the cold.

And I hate driving anywhere without music. It's just something that oddly makes me unable to drive. It's part of my routine, and to break away from it when I'm driving feels wrong.

Anyway, Skyrim. I've just been doing side quest after side quest and have yet to free Skyrim for the Stormcloaks or talk to the Greybeards. All I've done so far is conquer Whiterun for the Stormcloaks.

My Nordic master-of-all-trades absolutely dominated the battlefield and decimated the enemy troops before lowering the drawbridge. At which point, there was really no one left to kill.

Oh yea, and I just recently killed a Dragon in Werewolf form, under a purple and blue skyline. That made me feel like a badass.

I'll have to admit that I'm currently playing a Nord myself and I love it. Especially the new topics I get when I come across the Thalmor while walking from one place to another. Love antaginizing them and getting them to attack me so I can put them out of their misery.<LOL>

Now I see where all the cold weather is this year. I live in Md and we've only had about an inch or so of snow this year. Which I'm not complaining about one bit.<G> Hard to believe that there is someone out there still using cds.<G> As for me I use the Ipod whether it be in my car or at home.<G>

Somebody describe the mod, please. I don't want to register on that site only to view it.

Are you sure you want a descriptor?  Well ok, but you were warned.  lol

Its a mod that adds a spell in Oblivion, I believe.  The spell is  "make the woman...******?"    You cast it at a female or group of them and   a  spectral ****** appears in just the right spot.  According to the description on the Nexus site, it makes the female  (or females) stop whatever they're doing and...   Oh hell, register if you want to know moreImage IPB

Not bad an idea. Some women in Skyrim do need a little bit of "cheering up", especially Irileth, Elisif and Vex.

LOL

I like the way you think. Still, a more... standard (shall we say) type of adult mod where you can actually invite them over to Honeyside for the night would be far more tasteful. From what I've read, this mod delves into  creepy, vile stuff like Rape and voyeurism (the spell has different effects if you cast it while in sneak mode)

My reaction when my friend linked me to that:
Image IPB

You just now THAT is coming to Skyrim because of the creation kit dont you?
On a slightly better note I discovered that the only two shouts I need so far are Marked for Death, and Unrelenting force.

Seriously I just used UR to run into the final boss during Break of Dawn toss him back and then pulverize the living crap out of him.

The simplest solution is sometimes the best solution.

Marked for Death is an absolute must. My husband has been ignoring my claims about its awesomeness, but watched me take out an Elder Dragon in 3 hits after using Marked for Death last night. Woo! Imagine if I had my 2-handed maxed out!

With a ring I found and using that shout I killed a Frost dragon in two hits.

I mean I love seeing a good fight but sometimes curb stomping a dragon with a giant hammer is fun.
Still even though I do that guards walk up and tell me to stop shouting.

Whatever dude.
You cant stop the shouting.

What is up with dragons showing up in pairs? Every time I go to that area where there are hot springs, I get a 2-for-1 bonus with them.

In my current mage run, I was able to use a three-word Storm Call Shout when completeting Rise in the East.

When I hit the beach, and was forced to watch possible targets explode into ash, simply recall smiling and thinking that two can play that game. One of the few times that I choose to use Storm Call due to FF, as well as one of the faster ways as a Mage to sweep a quest.

For the humor; it is imagined that when I enter into a Mage dual, that the opponent in all their pompous ravings inquire as to what pitiful School of magic I choose against them, I smile and fire a single Ebony arrow thru their Mask of choice, and simply say; "Enchantment!"

Heh I just summoned two Dremora lords and watched them chop him into pieces for me.
Some people REALLY have bad luck.

Oh then for his impudence in challenging me I turned him into a thrall and he got ate by a dragon later.
Sometimes it is funny to be an evil mage over lord with your spells.
Though mostly I had a Thalmor Wizard as my thrall until a steam centurion mauled him.

I have not been that impressed with the single version yet. Yesterday I placed one in the cell with Sippi Black-Briar, then used pick-pocket until I failed to set him as hostile, and he won every match. Re-loaded for better options and results.

FWIW - I finally stole what I could from Sippy, and then will add to his misery when visiting in town. This is where Flaming Familar seems to be rather useful. And humorous!

I love messing with the Black Briars for the most part.
I got their horse stolen and saved Louis from the thug.
I blasted through their manor house robbing and looting.
I lied to Sibbi and sent his men on a goose chase to Morrowind.
I refused to help the Thieves and destroyed the Dark Brotherhood.
Oh and this game I am siding with the Stormcloaks so Maven will have lost a lot of power.

While the game may not recognize it besides her sending assassins after me (which if kill) I do get a kick out of sticking it to her.

Though I do help her daughter out a little bit with her alchemy and everything.
Still having the world know that one person wont bow down to Maven is more than awesome.

Still I REALLY wish there was an option to side against her and actually help Riften out a little bit more.

Wow the 1.4 patch has removed like ALL of the lag I was getting.
Nice job Bethesda.

Hmm what kind of "lag"?

You mean framerate loss or skipping?

I seemed to get some while on horseback, but fine for everything else...haven't had opportunity to check recently.

Really?  I love my dremora summons.  They seem pretty effective to me, and they have such style.  Sometimes sit back and enjoy the hilarity.

^ Every time they vanish, it sounds like they drop their weapon. I thought for the longest time that it was Ghorbash getting disarmed (which coincidentally WAS happening, too), but it ended up just being that sound. It scared me. Image IPB

I love the Dremora summons, too. The just run right in and bulldoze, whilst laughing in the face of their prey.

I had one Dremora Lord that did well, but the rest have been anemic. Now I use them as distractions while I reposition, change spells, etc.

Overall, I find the higher spells lacking, though some perks are kinda cool. Having Silent spells via Illusion is nice, and the minor Destruction improvments are helpful, but costly to gather them all. But when Bound Bow is my top damge dealer, and my non-enchanted Ebony Bow still will do more, I believe my generalist builds are more than capable.

Still have not tried an Alteration specialist, though I created one for that purpose. Will go with robes and Enchantment instead of armor, and see if I miss the Masks too much.

^ Masks? I collected all of them in one playthrough (pretty trippy wearing the wooden mask to visit the altar), and they all ended up in a chest. I never wore a single one for any length of time, because I don't like how they look on my female characters.

Alteration is quite handy for a pure mage. I used it constantly on mine. I got up to Ironflesh before I got sucked into creating new characters. I've been playing my Orc, and just created an Argonian a couple of nights ago, but I'll get back to my Alter mage...sometime.

All I have left to make now are a Redguard and a Dunmer. This game has stolen my life.

Archmage Crafting mod lets you make Morokei into a circlet. That's what my mage wore. I don't like the appearance, either.
