Honeyside has to be my favourite.

Not only do I got a porch, dock and garden, I also have a frikkin view! And a river to catch fish for not only breakfast, but brunch and lunch too!

^ If my Orc wants to eat, she just comes home and tells her Orc husband to fix her a chicken pot pie (aka homecooked meal). Sorry, I just hopped into "The Breakfast Club" for a minute, there.

I do like the garden of Honeyside, but it seems like it takes a long time for ingredients to respawn. It's nice that one of the thieves caches ends up there - speaking of which, I need to look up all of the locations. I went through a couple of playthroughs before I even knew they existed. In fact, I only discovered it by reading the manual. /facepalm

Love that movie. You have great taste.

Perhaps not the best of houses in the game, but personal taste plays a large role here. I just like it when you can get it for free, with the "Drawe Glitch". Fits my thief character perfectly.

Truly? Well if my Dragonborn wants to eat, he just kills a bandit and eats their liver with some fava beans and a nice chianti.

FUFUFUFUFUFUFU!

Yep, it's totally personal preference. The mannequins in Honeyside are a bit bugged for me (they seem to cut a rug while I'm gone, since they're always in different locations), but it's a decent house overall. I'd be happier if the Thane of Riften thing wasn't bugged, and I'd get Iona as a housecarl, but that should be fixed with the next patch, anyway.

Wow so the blood horkers just tried to take revenge on me.

Two of them.
Okay people I took your base down BY MYSELF and you are trying to tell me that two of you came to attack me?
Image IPB

They even jumped up from beside the road and yelled "REVENGE!"
Ah well two less pirates in the world.

@Addai67- Well now as for Meridia's beacon I've yet to have a problem with getting that one there. Heck when I go to her shrine I get directed to which location to look for it. This play through I was like lever 14 or 15 when I did it and got my rear end handed to me a few times before I was finally able to beat the end boss. Great battle and I would do it again at that level.<G>

As for Daedric or dragon plate loot I've got very little. Like I said I've gotten a Daedric dagger and Dragon plate boots that was it.

@ Happy Daiz-I'll have to agree with you that I like the Hjerim house in Windhelm as well. Only thing is that when I bought it the past 2 play throughs I never got the option to clean it up from the "Murder On Ice" quest so it still had all the bone, blood and other stuff all over the place. Supposedly they fixed that with this latest patch so I'll have to wait and see. But I will have to agree with you I wouldn't have minded having my own forge and smelter. But with the modding tools due out soon we can hold out hope that maybe one of them will do up an good house mode where we have it all in one home.<G>

I couldn't agree with you on the garden in honeyside and the things taking what seems like a long time for which things respawn. But usually by the time for which I get to buying that house I got so much indgridents I don't worry about it.<LOL>

As for the locations of the thieves caches will have to admit that I didn't know anything about them til I was through most of the game on my last play through and someone mentioned them. I'd love to know where they all are myself. Image IPB

Oh, uh... *blush*  I swear when I got the quest I looked for a quest marker and didn't get one.  But when I went back and re-activated it, there was one.  Never mind!

Not so much a spanner in the works but a warhammer per se.

I did missing in action and that was very fun I have to admit.
Storming into an outpost some nords and nothing but a Thalmor rich area.

Problem Thalmor?

LOL don't you hate when that happens.<G> Will have to admit that is one that I try to do as early as possibe. That one and Azura's star quest. These are 2 daedric Items for which I use all the time. Good luck and have fun with it. Let me know what you think.

Must agree; taking the Thalmor to task is quite refreshing.

Just completed another run of rescuing the Gray-Mane lad from their prison, but this time was able to go thru the front door of the Fort thanks to a three worded Storm Call Shout; fried every guard outside rather as fast as a bug zapper. Then I escorted the lad on a killing spree thru the rest of the complex working in reverse. he is free, Mom is happy, and I have a couple more sets of Thalmor disguises for the next party.

I'm running a Nord and she don't use disguises she goes in and takes them out and moves on.. So much fun to walk into an area like you own it and have 8 to 10 of them try to take you on like their all that and you use either Unrelenting or Ice form on them whiel having a cloak of lighting and weilding Dawnstar. Life is good.,

According to Pete Hine's twitter, creation will come out on Tuesday, with a surprise.

Finally an official date!

A surprise? I love surprises.

I would put money down on their first DLC announcement myself.

As long as it's not a horse armor dlc.

It is probably going to be dragon armor DLC.

Something odd I have noticed since the last patch:
Bashing with a weapon or shield does a lot more damage than it did before.

Like nearly one hit killing Bandits kind of damage.
Not that I mind but really this is just weird.

I'm hoping Bethesda will release a DLC for Dragon weapons somewhere down the line. Picking up the Dragon Smithing perk seems so pointless if you can't forge a matching set of weaponry to go along with the armor (or at the very least find Dragon weapons in some tomb or dungeon somewhere).

@Giggles-Someone mentione on the Nexus site that it might be a High res textures DLC. Why couldn't they have already done that when they put out the game? Hadn't noticed about the bashing doing more damage. I'll check that out.

@Angus- I know that their is someone who is working on a mod for just that thing there. Matter of fact I seen the sword he did and it looked pretty good. Honestly I don't care for the look of the dragon armor myself.

I agree with you on the heavy version of Dragon armor, at least. It looks like absolute trash. I do like the look of the light version, though, and it's the best light armor you can get. It'd be nice to have a matching sword to go along with it.

Daedric armor will always be my personal favorite, though. It just looks so epic, especially when riding Shadowmere.

Not sure about how the dragon scale<light> version of the dragon armor. What I think that I'll  do is make a set of both. After all it's not like I don't have the stuff to make them.<LOL>

But like I said I know that there is someone working on a DLC for Dragon weapons and he/she did have a sword done which looked pretty cool. He like most of the modders are waiting for the Modding tools kit to be released. And once that happens I've got a feeling you'll be seeing allot of dragon weapons.<G>

As for the Daedric armor and Shadowmere that is my personal combination as well. I just think the two go so great together.
