Hopefully someone will come out with a great house mod for us which we can use all this excess gold on.

Huh looking at the hard copy map I got in my Skyrim box what are all the little x marks on it I wonder?
After I finish the main quest I will look into that.
When I read this I went and looked at my map and was surprised to see a lot of little red crosses dotted about. I'm not certain, but I think they might be the locations of the military camps. Certainly the red cross in Whiterun Hold seems to be perfectly placed for the Stormcloak camp on the south side of the river nestled near the Throat of the World. Just an idea though, it could be something else entirely.
Has anyone else had trouble with getting the DB quest To Kill An Empire to work? I've tried a few things and every time I run across the bridge outside the Emperor's Tower I get stopped by the Occularly challenged agents and I hear Maro clapping, but he doesn't show up and speak to me. So I just get some slow clapping and then me and the agents stand around wondering what the hell's going on. I think I might have to load up an earlier save and go through the whole quest again.
As far as I know Gordon Ramsay's never poisoned a Fake!Emperor and stabbed the rest of the party. Serves them right for making Walks-In-Shade wear a silly hat. Can't cook without a hat she says?
Wow, that Argonian looks bad ass. Is that a preset, or did you customize him?

What we really need is something to spend all this gold on in the game. I'm sitting on 400k in gold not counting the gems, dragon bones & scales as well as for ingots which includes over 400 gold ingots. And to think that I've yet to step foot in Markarth or riften. Trying to fast travel to either one it tells me I've not discovered them yet.

Farmville house mod.

Never get between a woman and something she really wants or bad things happened.
I got elbowed in a Walmart once when I was standing right next to the last pair of jeans during a sale.
Damn she had a bony elbow.

Umm.... use trainers perhaps? At higher skill levels a training session is roughly 20k gold per level.

As for trainers I did use the trainer up in Solitude to get my speech up to 100. As for the other skills for which I use heavy armor, 1-handed, marksman, sneaking, pp, enchanting, smithing and alchemy went up fast enough and you don't need to use gold to pay for training in them at all. Heck just roaming around in the out door areas of Skyrim you can bring up allot of your skills pretty fast without doing any quests at all.
@Volus- Whats a farmville house?
Now I've been thinking about another idea for a DLC. You've got the Storm Cloaks and the Imperials fighting amongst one another because of the Thalmor. You've got the protagonist aka Dragonborn who was set to get their head lopped off for whatever reason.
Now the dragonborn instead of joining either side in the civil war could actually be the one for which by doing things for all the people that he/she does starts building up allies and starts another independant faction in this whole mess. Is able to buy land and start building it up with house folks from different areas in skyrim come to live on it Joing your army opening shops in your new expanding town paying you taxes etc. And with the Dragonborn rising he could lead his/her army taking on storm cloaks and Imperials Eventually becoming the new ruler of Skyrim and re-uniting the country. Eventually getting into an even bigger war with the Thalmor and throw/force them out of the country once and for all.

The first is a mage College quest "Arniel's Endeavors" I've gone through and completed that one fully. Now once he disappears and you summon him for the first time are you suppose to be able to talk with him after you summon him the first time? Or is it just summon you can summon to aid you in battle?
2. Got a quest from Jarl of winterhold to go find the Helm of Winterhold. This isn't the same helm you go after for either the Storm Cloaks or the Imperials is it?

I customised him. I'm quite proud of how he turned out, some of my other characters don't look particularly good.
@Redneck1st: I can answer your second question. It's a different helm to the Jagged Crown for the civil war. That quest can cause problems for the Companions questline though, as it's in the same location as one of those quests, Driftshade Refuge. Bugged out the Companions for my first character.

1 - Not ever used, but based on description in the Wikia, it is a battle summons; one of the best.
2 - Different crown.

Well according to my quest marker the crown is located in Yngvild not Driftshade Refuge and since thats the case it should mess up any of the companions quest as I don't remember any of them being in Yngvild.

I mean they just dont have an combat ability anywhere NEAR the PC so they kind of are useless.
At level 45, Aela can take maybe ONE opponent on, but nothing more than that.
I kind of miss playing FONV where the companions could and did kick some serious ass.
Seeing Boone head shot three dudes right in a row always made me smile.

Will have to admit that I've never played FONV, but I can relate to you in regards to running with a companion. from what I've learned is there are more minuses then there are pluses to taking one along with you. The AI definatly sucks when it comes to the companion side of things.

Honestly, Ghorbash and Borgakh are pretty awesome, and seem to have the least stupid AIs of any of the companions. I'm at level 42 on this character, using Borgakh, and that woman still kicks butt. Especially while wearing Boethiah's (improved) Ebony Mail.

It's no wonder... I got a mod that gives you companion weapons. Boone's rifle is a doll, but Lily's assault carbine is an insanely frightening gun.Giggles_Manically wrote...

Then I had a very loud squee when I picked him up again and heard him say "Is it time?"
Since it was right before I was starting the final leg against the Legion.
Yes buddy it is time.

And no arrow to the knee either? Impressive.
More ontopic: I have had the Azure priestess as a companion for quite some time and overall I found her pretty useful. Currently runniing my sneak khajiit though, so no companion at the moment.
