Btw if you dont have the Midas Magic mod get it now, same modder who did the Oblivion mod, 60 new spells and using Meteor shower to raise Solitude to the ground = fun.
*crawls back in cave to play Skyrim.*
I like Midas Magic, too. Definitely some useful and cool spells there, and it helps to ease the pain of not having custom spells. Though I still miss my dual soul trap- destruction spells of doom.

She also does it when my Orc puts a bucket on someone's head.
Didn't have Conditioning perk yet, decided to strip to get through the sprint gates. Ghorbash supervised.

Takes a bit of practice, but there is nothing funnier to see the guards in Riften wearing buckets for hats.happy_daiz wrote...
^ I still haven't done that. I'm not even sure I know how.

Just installed the Dovakiin retreat and hideout, so I'm off to check them out. My level 52 Nord warrior-mage Atheldred needs more storage space, every time I open the storage chest in the Breezehome bedroom the game slows down because I've got so much crap shoved in there. I keep trying to sell it off but merchants only have so much gold and I'm a total packrat when it comes to rpgs, I pick up everything. Hell, I'll even loot allied casualties, waste not want not.

For those of you who are looking for a witty line to tell someone you're infatuated with come Valentine's Day, IF they like Skyrim, throw this at them-
Imperials are red,
Stormcloaks are blue,
I've got an Amulet of Mara,
I'm interested, are you?
I used it early - yesterday, in fact. Here was the response from my husband:
Cut him some slack, he was close. Can't lie, I am! (Isn't that what they say?)

I did use Whirlwind Sprint, but wasn't getting through so I thought my armor might be slowing me down.
It took me forever to figure this out. You ALSO need to press "w" while shouting. Do not let go of that button or the gate will close on you before you get through.

I wonder how Steam Workshop and Nexus Mod Manager are going to work together. If you get a mod from Steam, is NMM going to see it and allow you to activate/ deactivate from there? I like NMM well enough, don't want to mess up my groove.
I'm excited to see they got a mod to remove the weird ripple shadows in Breezehome from the fireplace.

^ I hate that stupid gate. Even with Whirlwind Sprint, it usually takes me a couple of tries. Most of the time, I end up right inside the first one.
I never learned how to sprint until that point.

Berserk is also totally awesome. It makes Orcs actually worth playing this time around.

There should be a rock theme in the game just for orc berserk.
Also, I'm beginning to subscribe to happy_daiz's "the only good companion is an orc companion" philosophy. Ghorbash is such a kickass archer.

No. Does that help with quest updating?
Yes, it's required to do the next quest in the series.

In fact, I just did it. You must sleep to continue. I have finally achieved my goal regarding the Dark Brotherhood.

I took a room in the Bee and Barb and slept for eight hours, but still the quest tells me to kill Grelod. I went back into the Orphanage again, and the other woman is still running around hysterically, yelling "I yield, I yield!". Grelod lies next to her bed (I dragged her off it, hoping to update the quest somehow) without any clothes on. No update.
The orphans also comment on her being dead...

Berserk definitely needs theme music. Suddenly the fight music from Devil May Cry (4) just popped into my head. Probably not what you were picturing.

I suggest reloading an old save to try again.
Or if on pc using the console to advance the quest.
