I imagine the Steam workshop is probably better because it would update them automatically wouldn't it.BigEvil wrote...
I had a browse through the mods on the workshop, spotted a couple that interested me, so I went to the Nexus and downloaded them from there. Force of habit I suppose.
.
I use the Nexus Mod Manager but I still find it a pain to update the mods manually even though NMM tells me when there's a new version.

No. Does that help with quest updating?
Yes, it's required to do the next quest in the series.
I took a room in the Bee and Barb and slept for eight hours, but still the quest tells me to kill Grelod. I went back into the Orphanage again, and the other woman is still running around hysterically, yelling "I yield, I yield!". Grelod lies next to her bed (I dragged her off it, hoping to update the quest somehow) without any clothes on. No update.
The orphans also comment on her being dead...
Try sleeping outside town like ruin or abaondon shacks for more than 2 or 3 hours. When you wake up say hello to the lovely Astrid. Damn, I wish I could marry and romance that woman but she already married and in the end... well.... I leave that to you to find out.
Now I have the creation kit, I may change the story a bit. But first, I want to continue my warden ( the Orlesian Warden Commander - Not the Hero of Ferelden. The Hero of Ferelden already sacrificed herself ) and Morrigan's story in Tamriel. My Warden and Morrigan entered eluvian mirror in Witch Hunt. Now they find themselves travel across time and dimension and land in Tamriel with the vengeance old god Lusacan around the corner.
Edit: Sorry I meant Tamriel. I tend to mix up with the world's name. I'm using Bethesda's creation kit and Skyrim's setting to mod a custom campaign inspired by Dragon Age Origins and Witch Hunt. My problem is the assets since they are copyrighted material belong to BioWare, therefore I have to create different meshes from scratch.

@Giggles-Never did the bucket on the head. But will have to admit that I have gone through and robbed every one in riverwood of everything they had right down to their small clothes.<EG>
As for th Space Core mod or whatever it's called that it was just a joke mod and don't really do anything.
@Virumor- Now that was a great video. I always did like the way for which she does it. Matter of fact there is a mod on Steam where you can use her version in the opening of skyrim. I've got it.<G>
@Renjililty- Now I've yet to do the DB quest since installing the 1.4 patch. But I'm now level 40 and getting ready to go to Riften and Markarth for the first time this game.<LOL> Heck already got to pay a 40gp bounty when I get to Markarth. But will have to test out the DB right off. I know the "Waking Nightmares" Daedra quest is bugged and you can't progress it.

I wrestled with it, but reasoned that Farkas talks about some physical changes when they're cured, so it sort of became an RP thing. Both of them look more relaxed and healthier.Redneck1st wrote...
Addai67- I seen that Vilkas mod that improves him and will have to admit that it looks good. I think I'll go on steam and subscribe to that one there.

It would be kind of cool to summon an army of draugr to fight the Dominion.

The Wilhelm scream was a nice touch.

Pretty cool.

Did you have high res mods installed already? It's very noticeable to me.
How does one install the high res pack from Bethesda?

Now someone needs to get busy on a "Summon Deathlord Army" spell mod. That was awesome.

Just get it off of Steam. I think its listed there as free DLC for Skyrim.
And it seems you can actually do more with the Space Core mod from Valve...like craft a Dovahcore Helm!

Just downloaded the "better Breezehome" mod. Adds a new wing to the home and an enchanter table.
So awesome.
I already had an enchanting table for Breezehome, but I downloaded the one that puts location markers at the player homes- that will be really nice for Vlindrel Hall, Proudspire and Hjerim- and this little beauty....

Saw Pines of Whiterun. It really looks amazing. Will definitely have to DL it.
Breezehome Extra Storage was exactly what I was looking for in my last playthrough. I was really getting tired of piling everything into a single chest and dresser; oh, and Lydia's Chair Fix finally gets her out of the damn bedroom.

I dl'ed the Dovahkiin Hideout but I'm not sure I'll use it. For one thing it's HUGE, for another it just defies all logic. Then again this is Tamriel, where whole civilizations warp in and out of existence. lol

I think it might just be the best looking game for pc I've played. Part of the credit obviously goes to SSAO lighting introduced by ENBDEV (though I use a less colorfull configuration of the mod).
With all the care Bethesda's showing it's customers, Skyrim is quickly climbing near the top of my favourite games of all times. Still not quite Planescape or Fallout 1&2, but not too far behind....
