Nothing really grabbed me except dragon mounts and I liked the kill animations for magic and ranged.

I keep hearing people saying that it can happen and that you can see it.
I never have, nor have I seen screen shots about it either.
I wonder if it is just BS.

Mounted combat?
Should have been there from the very start. I am getting tired of dismouting my horse everytime because of this stupid sabrecat or wolf who is following me for eternity. Ad infinitum.
I couldn't agree with you more on this here. Sure would be great if they did give us mounted combat.
Agree, most of the time I just sprint past because its not worth the effort of dismounting and remounting after killing some random threat...dragons are the exception
Well now I'd have to agree with you in regards to the dragons after all I'd dismount to fight them as well. But as for a wolf or lion or some such I just keep on going and not worry about them.
Although I'd be able to simplify it all if we could get that Dragon mount...for those who have made it far on the main story arch, you know its actually very feasible.
Well now that is so true there and it would be intereting to see as well. Never know it just might happen.
BTW you want a great mod for Proudspire manor in Solitude. Check out the mod "Proudspire Manor Enhnanced" by WAD3 MIA I think he did one heck of a job on the basement area.

That video was hilarious. Especially the giant mudcrab and the guy Fus Ro Dah'ing Lydia off a cliff.

just for the heck of it. I used Fus Ro Dah on Lydia when we were on the bridge for the Mage College. It was so funny seeing her go up over the edge. And yes I did reload the game.<G>

The mod is called Advanced Mannequins and the author's name is Cobalt in case you can't get the link above to work.
Now you can place mannequins where ever you want them and as many as you want.

Seriously, they need to patch that stuff into the game- at least technical stuff like SSAO or the snow foot prints. If they had all that in the base game it would be incredible.
SSAO is long available via mods. Mainly various configurations of ENBDevs work. His original style is a little too bright/colorfull for me. But there are numerous customizations of his work on Nexus to suit everybody's needs. With various impacts on fps too.
I'd personally recommend:
skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php
I had 0 framerate drop from that.
And the game with this mod and Bethesda's HighRes Texture pack really looks breathtaking!
I recommend everybody try it, if you haven't already!

So basically, the Empire getting mauled by the Dominion is kinda seen as poetic justice by my Orc character, and neither side in the civil war can't count on any sympathy at all, since neither of them has the strength to beat the other and are just hopelessly lost in a stalemate. Plus, the fact that its leaders are mewling milk-drinkers. The Companions are the only group in Skyrim worthy of joining for a daughter of Orsinium.
The Orcs have lost everything already and their existence is reduced to either pining away in flimsy Orc fortresses, or travelling Tamriel looking for glorious death in battle.
Thalmor, Stormcloaks, Empire, Hammerfell, yadda yadda, they all don't matter. In the end they're all enemies of the Orcs when it comes down to it.

What I love about the Orcs is that they completely stand alone. All other races either downright hate them or at the very least mistrust them, and have tried over and over again to wipe them from existence, only to fail over and over again. Twice against overwhelming opposition, the Orcs carved out a homeland of their own but apparently Orsinium was sacked again after Oblivion by Breton and Redguard milk-drinkers.

I've noticed a high proportion of Orcs in Skyrim are bandits/criminals. Does this fall in line with their noble goals, you shall fall to my Nordic Blade of Justice

That is honestly what a Nord accent makes the word Orc sound like.
"What is it Awk"
Grrrr.
More to the point have you guys looked at Orcish armor with the high res mod? Its amazing.

@ virumor, I agree that the orcs are awesome loners. I did the imperial quests with mine because I wanted to see them, but it didn't feel right at all. I figure after Helgen she'd say "screw you." They and their god being outcasts are a great addition to the lore. I also figured she said "screw you" to Malacath after Helgen, too, which is why she became a werewolf, but eventually would have realized it was just a test and would come back to the fold. And since he didn't mention it in The Cursed Tribe, she figures that they're cool again.
@ Drunk_Canadian: Being a loner doesn't equate to being noble. It's just admirable in its own way because you're not beholden to anybody. And naturally there are going to be disagreements and bad apples no matter who you are. Really the PC with all their pillaging and overthrowing this or that area, you're the biggest bandit thug in Skyrim.

At least that's how it is with Vampire lairs. I noticed this with Bloodlet cave. In my last playthrough I did it early on (I think I was still single digits in my levels (maybe 9th level), and I never faced more than one vampire at a time. This current playthru though, I went in at level 40, and Damn, that place was crawling with enemies.

Tossing frost spells and then draining your life while back peddling is very annoying.
Thankfully there is the FUS shout to stagger them and than clobber the living crap out of each and every one of those mother less pasty boogers.
Also i have a sad tale to tell right now.
Alvor and his wife got killed in the latest dragon attack on Riverwood.
Meaning that their daughter is now without parents at all.
Making gouging that monster's eye out all the sweeter.

How about a mod like the dark caves? I've seen some dark caves mode but they were never really truly dark in the video it was pitch black and I would love that!
