This week Korrin has been progressing through the civil war ...she didn't mind the first nickname "ice-veins" but feels the more recent ones (such as "bonebreaker") are too focussed on brute strength to properly represent a stealthy twinbladed swordswoman who relies on skill..
Learned a few more words..after one fight caught between dragon and dragon priest..starting to experiment with throwing her voice
Now about 150 hours in and still only about halfway through the MQ (next "Throat of the world")..this will easily be my longest playthrough of any game (won't be long before I catch up with the time spent on Morrowind, Oblivion and fallout 3 [including expansions])

At one point after becoming arch-mage Korrin was challenged by another mage ...the problem is that Korrin has pathetic magicka and spent most of the fight running round in circles dodging firebolts (not that they would hurt her that much) eventually managed to build up enough the finish off the challenger (on her first couple of attempts she ran out of magicka and the mage healed himself).

She recently got a bounty-hunting mission against bandits - the bandits turned out to be the silverhands with "The Skinner" as the leader to be killed ...again

You know in the mages college I really think that I like Tolfdir the most.

Dragon comes in and him and my dragonborn tag team it.
Poor chap must probably run the entire thing since the PC runs across the entire land while he does most of the work.

"But yeah I really dont sympathize with Sinding.
The entire circle can control themselves and dont run around commiting murder"

Did you even read the ring's name? Does anyone also in the circle use that same type of  ring?

The ring transformed the guy in the "worst possible of times" what the heck do that mean to you?

If he didn't use the ring he would have been a werebeast and lose himself to it like many others, if he kept the ring he still able to be human but the ring without warning will turn him into a beast.. He was lost, thats why if you let him live he is a werewolf and never again is seen in human form.

He was cursed by a god or evil creature, he didn't/ couldn't possible resist the urges to hunt, he is a human traped in a predactor- beast body guess who is going to win?

Is you're Dragonborn  part of the thieve guild? Nothing is worst that making a group of worthless criminals powerfull right? Hmmm now thats  being scrupulous right? Forgive me they are just human right? fck that! The dragonborn should have being able to destroy the guild, they are nothing but the worst that a human can possible be, disgusting.

Is you're dragonborn a member of the darknightbrotherhood? Wow serving to an evil female corpse and killing people for money and no good reason is OK? So the dragonborn kill an Emperador who by using wits in stoping the elves for taking control of skyrim is ok? ROFFFL.     :pinched:

Why should I sympathize with a man who walked into a town full of people, with a ring that would randomly pop him into a werewolf?
Did you listen to what he described the little girl as? He made it sound like she was food.

So no I dont really sympathize with a man who:
A) STOLE FROM A DAEDRIC PRINCE (grade a stupid)
B) Knew he was cursed and went near PEOPLE willingly.
C) Tore a little girl apart because he was near, after he stole from a daedra and pissed it off.

His suffering does not really make up for the string of stupidity that led him there.

I have to wonder does the steam workshop feature/include the full nudity mods? JW if they have the balls to include said content.

They don't.

You gotta go to Nexus for CBBE or  any other nude mod.  So  the question of whether Steam has balls  has been answered:  They have none.

Also something else I noticed. Steam workshop doesn't appear to have any marriage mods either  (well, they have 1, and its to allow for a single specific Orc NPC to  be marriageable).  I do find this odd, as even a brief perusal of the Beth forum and it becomes obvious that this is an extremely popular feature in the game.   There's a bajillion threads about spouses there.  You can't go 10 minutes in that place without seeing someone ask  "why can't I marry X"?  Or  Is  Y spouse material?  Or:  I married Z, and they died, can I marry again?"

Sinding freely admits that he is a werewolf to the player and mentions that he sought to control the condition through means of a magical ring. Unfortunately the ring is cursed by Hircine and causes Sinding to go berserk without warning or cause. This is why he stoled the ring to stop the transformations.

Other thing I never said what he did was right ( killing a child), yet you haven't mention if serving this other parties make you understand what right actually means. Answer me please, is you're dragonbron part of the thieve guild? Drakbrotherhood? How can you judge anyone when you're character takes part on serving EVIL people and going forward with some creatures plans.. how dare you! .. :P Oh yea what fenris said: Mages in glass houses shouldn't throw fireballs. rofl.

Oh and the compaions weren't cursed by Hircine, so they  actually have control of where and went to turn, so please do NOT compare them to sinding, situations and reasons were different for them.

I've been trying to make certain characters marriageable, and I haven't been able to decipher the code to do it, yet. I've seen some threads where groups of people are trying to program multiple marriages, and they can't decipher the code either. I can't speak for everyone, but that's the reason my marriage mods aren't out there yet, at least.

Addfac ###### 1 – ON PC VERSIONS OF SKYRIM
– Press the tilde (`) key to bring down the command console, and type
in the code “addfac 19809 1″ (Not including the apostrophes.) with the
desired NPC selected, and you’ll be able to marry them. No fuss! They’ll
be added to your marriage faction.
  • To get married, you’ll first need the Amulet of Mara. While wearing
this jewelry, you will unlock new dialogue options with certain NPCs.
  • Buy the amulet from Maramal, sold for 200 coins. Maramal can be
found in Riften, either in the Temple of Mara or in the Bee and Barb. If you have any of mara's amulet destroy them and get a new one so Solitud Jarl won't bug.
  • To get married, you must first speak with an NPC and talk to them about
marriage. They might accept, or require a small quest to be completed.
  • If they do accept, speak to Maramal at the Temple of Mara to plan the wedding.
  • A married NPC will move into whatever house you own and provide several benefits. ( if is the jarl of Solitud tell her to move to Solitud)^_^
If you're spouse dies: press (`) key to bring down the command console:  click the body and type: "ressurect 1" remember to loot the boodies sometimes items goes poof.
I plan to marry My female nord to Solitud jarl .:o:P

Thank you Huntress. I'll try this again, but the last time I checked it didn't work on every NPC. For example, I'm not sure it works on Brynjolf or Ulfric.

Marriage is based on the voice actors. For example, Farkas is readily marriable in the vanilla game. So, with the code that Huntress gave you, anyone with Farkas' voice set will be spouse material if you change their Faction Flags.

So the question is: do Brynjolf or Ulfric use a voice set of anyone you can marry in an unmodded game?  If so, then you should be good to go with that code.  If not, then you might be SOL until an exceptionally talented modder adresses the issue.

Well I got Ulfric to be a follower easily enough by changing some voice requirements, but marriage is proving to be more difficult.

The fact that he needed a daedric artifact to control it shows he wasn't controlling it.  And even though the ring would cause him to turn unpredictably, he still describes bloodlust that the Companions don't show.  I don't think he's evil, he's just weak willed and that is not something you can be as a werewolf or you'll lose yourself.

I did help him this game, mainly just to see the other side of the quest (and because I have no use for fur bikinis which the female version of the Savior's Hide is).  Hircine's response is typical daedra.  Mortals really are playthings to them.

Fortunately, Skryim is working again. New beta driver for Nvidia caused the issue.

I can highly recommend the Sounds of Skyrim mod. Currently only the Dungeon version is available, but a city and wild life one will be released as well. Those extra sound effects make the dungeons definitely more scary. And I had just gotten a bit used to all those tombs filled with draugr. xD Add to that I have now the Realistic Lighting mod installed, which makes some parts of dungeons pitch black.... I'm on the edge of my chair, haha.

I would have liked to use the Cinematic Lighting mod, but somehow it made my game extremely slow, even though I should be able to run it on high quality without trouble. Odd. It's working fine for my boyfriend.

Do you notice any performance hit from the sounds mod?

I also recommend Immersive Thunder. We were talking about guns, and yesterday I heard what sounded like cannon fire- turns out it was a storm mage throwing lightning bolts. lol I imagine the mod made it sound more reverberating.

No, from the sounds mod I haven't noticed a thing. I had only a bit of trouble to get it installed. I got an error when the launcher attempted to dowload it (I subscribed on steam workshop), so I had to get it from the nexus. But now it works and it doesn't slow my game at all.

If Ulfric had any political sense, he would marry Elisif.
