I want a mod that puts a shrine of Dibella (or better yet: Sanguine) in my home. Because that's what my characters all have in common: Love of sex/debauchery and that kind of fun stuff.

I did that myself no mods.. you know i don't feel any attachment to skyrim at all so I don't have any mod and none of my character get to lvl 40 i have play sharai 5 times she never gets to 40 lol, feeling the hurge to delete her and start again..

I like Da alot more but a bit bored of it right now and thats why am in Skyrim :)

here try it so you dont fill up with mods  Position looking strait,   bring the console down,

 then type:

player.placeatme 0010C629 ( hit enter) move a bit and the statue appears
                            00010A17C
is easier if you summon it right where you want it to stand, moving objects is a pain in the.... lol let me know if you want any statue not sure I have seen dibella or Sanguine.. Shrines well they are 2 pieces-_-

If the object is too big: setscale .80 and down have fun and SAVE often!

Hi, fellow Fateless One.   I haven't touched Skyrim in 2 weeks.  With 3 weeks to ME3, I might as well consider deleting it for now Image IPB

Backstabbing Dragons was fun while it lasted ...

Well, hello there! My kick-arse Orc has been replaced with a sneaky DW Dokkalfar, at least for the time being. Which race did you end up choosing? (Sorry for the temporary KoA derailment. Back on subject, now).

I will keep the fond memories of Orbugob, Galadriel, Lielle, Serenity, Selene, Estina, Eats-Many-Babies (oh crap, what were the names of the other 3?), and their saved games to pick up at another time. There's just too much good gaming going on right now, and I'm thinking I need to take a rest from dragon-slaying, too.

I did put in over 1000 hours, after all. I'll be back. Image IPB

New events for me: a letter of inheritance from the estate of Farkas (death of my first major NPC friend), and delivered by my first undressed courier. Kinda wish I knew what killed the big guy, but nothing was being said at the Companion Hall. And it makes me wonder if the glitch in attire has anything to do with this assignment.

Oh noooo!!!!

This is my nightmare.  I was so worried about him when I found him out lollygaggin' during the Battle for Whiterun.

Now that I've got him back as follower (the dialogue option re-appeared after doing a few more of his radiant quests), he's staying with me.  If he's going to die, it's going to be within reload range.

For example: wanting to decorate the shelves in my house in Solitude is practically impossible due to the weird manner of moving objects once you've dropped them out of your inventory...You have to practically THROW them around to get them into the right position...I ended up putting all of my potions into a barrel after having spent about half an hour in trying to just put a potion on top of a table...So awkward.

This has always been awkward, but is even moreso now that they've made the houses more "automated."  They come more decorated than they did in Oblivion, but stuff moves around if you try to place it yourself.  I used to spend hours in Oblivion setting up food on the tables and potions and flowers on the shelves, but then it was mine.  I think I'd go back to that if we could.  /pathetic

On another note, I installed the Dungeons Sound pack from the Steam Workshop yesterday. Having noticed some of the sounds are ripped from Amnesia: The Dark Descent and having seen some of the videos of this game, I think I'll uninstall it. I got nothing against this game, but the sounds just make the dungeons creepier than they have to be. Skyrim is not a horror game afterall. Meh, it might also just be me who can't stand any form of horror or scary stuff...However, I will install the future installments of this sound project (there will be different packs for the cities, forests, etc if I have read correctly) as I think that more sounds will only make the world of Skyrim even more realistic.

I think I'll end up uninstalling it, too.  Some of the sounds are good, but others are a little too Halloween funhouse.

As for quests, I have recently finished the mage quest in Winterhold. I must say I am impressed with both the characters and the storyline they put into this quest. Overall, I thought it was very enjoyable and now my character can finally have those nice Arch Mage Quarters for herself. (I always was jealous of Savos for having such nice living quarters, lol).

I enjoyed it but it was too short.  Also you didn't ever really bond with Savos Aren, so his story at the end wasn't as moving as it could have been.  Dunno about anyone else, but I was pretty sad in Oblivion when the archmage *mumble spoilers*.  Not so much this time.

I wonder if there were too many writers.  While I defend the writing and honestly think it's very good, it seems like they don't really go for the emotional jugular when they could.  Things sort of peter out at the end of quest lines rather than adding that extra "oomph."  Like in the Thieves' Guild, if Brynjolf had turned to my character and said... I dunno, something, anything, except "sorry lass, no time for you," then the game would have been so much better.

His dialogue does change if you continue the TG quests to the point where you "restore it to its former glory", but that takes A LOT of Vex and Delvin quests... But you do end up with some sweet Guildmaster armor.
Image IPB

I agree, though. I really, really wanted more interaction with both Brynjolf and Karliah at the end. I felt like so much had happened, that it was deserving of a little more emotion or conversation.

What race is your sneak thief?

I am actually considering making a Dunmer nightblade instead of a Nord male, which had been my earlier plan.  Partly inspired by a Bethsoft thread about making a good-looking male Dunmer.  Some of the attempts were highly successful.  Image IPB  And I finished reading The Infernal City, which introduced a sexy kickass Dunmer guy halfway through.

Oh, bleh, I never got that far.  Got tired of the 'tude from those idiots and especially Vex.  What a biatch.

^ Sorry, I didn't explain that very well. I started playing KoA over the weekend, and the race I chose was Dokkalfar, which is a dark elf.

I'd be interested to see a good-looking dark elf in Skyrim! Most of them are..not great. I tried to build one, but the eye colors and eye shapes really threw me off, so I scrapped it. That's how I ended up creating my Redguard instead.

Yeah, Vex is kind of a rag, true to her name. I still wish there could have been a little romancin' with some members of the TG crew, though. I mean, I did save Etienne Rarnis from the Thalmor Embassy, surely that's deserving of a little Argonian Ale, cheese, and larceny, right?

Some of the more emotional moments in the game thus far are written missives like the letter of Inheritance, the occasional notes, or the journal of Kodilak. These pull at the memories of the Player more so than the spoken dialogue, and easy associatons with RL can be made. IMO.

I have at least one more Dragonbaorn to craft; one that will follow more of the Daedric and villainous quests than earlier attempts. Based on what I have read, this will be more of a Mage based character to utilize all those nifty devices. And I should alter the race; no Orcs or Bretons as usual (but they are soooo fulfilling).

I feel quests and NPCs in Fallout 3 had way more meat to them. With Elder Scrolls, it seems Bethesda must spread themselves too thin writing-wise by the continuing insistence of having multiple guilds.

Ah, I misunderstood.  The art style of that game put me off.

Glad I wasn't the only one moved by Kodlak's Journal.  A very unexpected emotional moment.

It's all a bit up and down for me with Skyrim at the moment. After replaying the whole To Kill an Empire quest with my DB Argonian and ending up at the same bugged end I'm unsure of what to do to fix it and might have to abandon that playthrough (which would suck because I was really enjoying playing an evil character rather than just a character who's a dick).

But on the other hand I finally managed to get the Companions quest which was bugged on my first character to work so I got to finish off the questline for him finally. I'm thinking I'll take a bit of a break from Skyrim while I try and get another ME playthrough done and ready for ME3.

Playing FONV makes me grateful for Skyrim at times.

Like at least in Skyrim you stand a chance to win most if not all fights.
I just walked off the road and suddenly 8 feral ghouls jump me.

I enjoy the enemy leveling in Skyrim a lot.

What bug is there in the DB quest end?  I've heard about one where you can't progress past the ambush.

Attrebus Mede was a pretty good character in The Infernal City.  I found out there's a sequel to it, Lord of Souls, so now I have to read that one.  They really could have put them together since TIC is not a complete story by any means.

We haven't posted much fan art here.  Some of it is cheesy, but one I really like is a Russian artist named Aihito.

Yeah, I assume that's the bug I've got. I mentioned it before but this topic moves too fast to keep up with every post. Basically I poison the Fake!Emperor, exit through the back door, run across the bridge and the scripted part begins. My character sheathes his weapons, is frozen in place and the three Occulatus guards run out in front of me. I hear the slow clapping from Maro, even see the subtitles with his name and clapping, but he refuses to show up and speak so I'm left stuck there.

I've tried google, and the two wikis, and found nothing on how to solve this particular bug. There's several bugs mentioned for the quest but none which seem to relate to Maro not showing up and speaking. So far I've tried replaying from before I got the quest replaying from various stages of the quest, killing the two guards inside the room with the dinner party, not killing those guard and just running out, killing every character including gianna, using the wait function while on the bridge (after the three guards show up and nothing further happens), and reloading the auto-save when exiting the Emperor's tower.

I think the only way I'll fix it is by using a setstage command, but it's finding out which one will get me beyond the conversation on the bridge with Maro and hoping that doesn't do more harm than good.

EDIT: That's some pretty cool fan art, although the expression Balgruuf has seems to say to me "Did I leave the oven on?"

My demonic bloodlust is uncontrollable! I desire to satiate it with the arcane, demon/daedric magicks, and blood. My Argonian Warlock/Battlemage knows that all too well...

I made my Dunmer nightblade.  Had to resort to the Younger Looking Males mod, but I'm satisfied with the result.

He already feels quite badass.  I think he'd probably like to bed that fiery wench Irileth but will end up with Jenassa.  At least one of my characters should make cute elf babies someday.  Or scary looking elf babies, as the case may be.

That Dunmer looks like a vamp from the "Angel" TV show rofl.

I just started my third character : Gurzshog Orc Thief. Due to the fact that Orcs are discriminated against he turned out a real evil git. He knows what its like to be poor he used to eat iron ignot shavings for breakfast.

It also gives me a chance to follow the DB questline again since my last character (Nord Warrior) was a goodytwoshoes who immediately killed Astrid on sight and destroyed the sanctum.

Has Calcemo (In Markarth) ever sent anyone a note asking for dwarven armor... this happened and he wanted my boots. I gave them to him expecting a bunch of gold but i only got like 100.... i was quite disappointed

He sends a note asking for a dwarven item you purchased. The first time I got this he asked for my dwarven mace of consuming... after I had disenchanted it.

Indeed. He's a cheapskate. he'll give you less than what you paid for the dwarven item. So just say No, unless losing money is something you enjoy doing.

On my thief character he'd send me a note every time she bought dwarven arrows. Seriously annoying, that guy.

@ Mercannis, they're supposed to look like you wouldn't want to meet them in a dark alley. That's what you get when you ****** off Azura.  Remember that if you steal her star from her.  Image IPB
