No public demo?! Rage. Though, I really couldn't see a demo version of Skyrim. Then again, they had a New Vegas demo at QuakeCon....
I'm sure an official public demo is coming soon. But at E3 they showed us some good 15-20 minutes of the half-hour demo shown. Combat looks very satisfying this time, of course that's in appearance and not gwmeplay. Magicka looks particularly improved, but with a slew of new combat features, including effects from the wonderfully upgraded third-person and dragon shouts...not being able to quickly run backwards and finishing moves, it looks very, very fun.
In the one part, an NPC Howard encountered ran away from him once he freed him from a spider web and he just goes up and sticks a glass longsword right through his back and out his belly.
In another part, he's fighting undead 'Dragr', hammering them with a flame spray spell in one hand and electricity in another, then backs up and releases a shout that knocks a bunch down.
He also slows time in one part, and also created a 'Circle of Protection' they didn't want any part of (while also shocking them as they ran.
Check it out if you haven't. It's g4 e3 demo on YouTube

Also, the argonian concept art was revealed in January as well:
I'm glad they decided to stick with the plantigrade beast races. Of course, I already knew they would stay with it after Oblivion, but with so many people calling to have Morrowind's bad design back I was getting a little worried.

I bet it's the new iteration of Turn Undead.

It's going to take a long, long, long time just to explore the MOUNTAINS in this game.
I just wanna go exploring right now. I explore the map in sections, and I'm so starting up north

What in the world is that lady wearing? O_o .....The environments look great, and If I can somehow navigate to the top of one of those jagged mountains I'll ****** myself out of pure joy.

the pic is titled "Dragon Armor," so I assume that's what she's wearing.
And yes, every screen and gameplay footage so far has been from the 720p Xbox version

I usually just run around in lines, or kind of box the map. Like I'll start south and run north, and then I'll run east, and then south, and then west, and do a complete circle around the outside of the map, and then run in a smaller circle, until I completely close into the center point of the map.

Same here. I thought Argonians looked like monsters instead of NPCs the first time I saw them in Morrowind plus their walking animation was awkward. I'd prefer Argonians in Oblivion except they can't wear boots. Something like, let's say, this:RymenQwun wrote...

We do it real similarly...I like your way a lot cause it gives a lot of variety, especially in this game because the landscapes are going to vary so much. In Oblivion I started west, went north, south and worked east.
It's a really small detail, but it would be really helpful to have some sort of indication in the map to let us know if we were in a particular 'dungeon' already or not. Just something really small to let us know "ok...I've explored that one already". Lol.
If not, I'm going to scribble tons of notes this time.

Maybe boots could appear as armor pieces that wrap around the foot, leaving the protruding claws.
