You are welcome; simply passing the same gift along. This is one of the best things of this thread, and is a bit of a shame that so many like nuggets of info are lost in this sea of posts.
P.S. Based on my setting, this may be 16 bit; 44100 Hz as a cap; seek confirmation from a Techie.

Apparently the upcoming 1.5 patch is going to introduce a "ranged killcam" just as I've already wrapped up my ranged Bosmer character.
Really looking forward to the finishing moves for archery and magic!

And on a strictly unrelated note...
A quick rant. OK, I like vagueness. Things don't always have to be mathamatically specific all the time. However, was this really necessary?

^I just found this note on the body of a dead adventurer. The guy found something, somewhere, guarded by someone (or something). There's just enough information in this note to send me... nowhere.

I hate those kinds of notes. its like they can't help being really cryptic.

Would be set in the 2nd Era (prequel to the other games), supposedly going to be announced in May, right before E3.
Smells of fail.

If it turned out to be true I hope it's a sandbox MMO. It would be perfect really I don't think anyone really needs another themepark like TOR or WoW other wise it will get people angry.
I really miss Star Wars Galaxies.

Nice to see Beth still supporting the game. But kill cam and cutscene finishers can get intrusive. I hope they don't overdo it.

Archery finishing moves are... well... they're ok. Nothing to write home about. I've encountered 2 different types. The first one simply has the camera zoom in on your character in 3rd person as you're releasing the arrow. And the second finisher is a slo-mo animation of your arrow sending your dead opponent reeling backwards and to the ground.
I've noticed a new 2-hander finishing move too. It's much cooler. It's a double slash downward on your opponent's head. Hard to fully describe, but it's just plain cool looking.
Second thing about this patch. Underwater camera. They claim to have "fixed" it. And maybe they did. Everything is much blurrier now when you're underwater. Sorta like it is in real life. It's somewhat nausiating though. Almost gives you motion sickness.

They look like a lot of fun!
Seems like they added some hand to hand finishers as well? (The backbreaking wrestling move?)

Don't know the difference and doesn't matter to me as I'm never going to play it. I just don't like the idea of a bunch of official-unofficial MMO garbage becoming prequel canon for the franchise. And the potential for EA-type shenanigans if they try to do tie-ins and advertising in the single game market.Skelter192 wrote...

Just started playing as a way to kill time before TW2, and I'm pretty damn impressed.
You'll need that month with Skyrim. Insane amounts of content.

I've noticed that. I'm only level 14, but I've done so much of the quests for the Companions and just became the Harbinger. I've found and dumped so many enchanted weapons and armor and my map is starting to look really full. I've meneged to kill three dragons, got lucky that two were ice dragons and I'm a nord so it was simple to do alone. It feels like I've played the length of most campaigns and I've yet to touch anything in the main story after killing the first dragon and learning about the dragon born. From the looks of it, I could spend 100 hours without touching the main campaign and still have a lot to do.
