Unlike KoA, which came out in February, already has two dlcs that were obviously ripped from the main game by EA.
38 Studios has lots of talent and potential. Hope they won't do business with EA again.
There are three things I want from the first Skyrim expansion:
--Thalmor focused
--New dragon types that are harder
--Further advancement of the Conjuration skill

How long are the individual dlc's, and are all patches included on disk?

I don't know about patches being on the Ultimate Edition disc. I'd assume so?

Hopefully we get some more DLC news.
If so only I can keep growing my loot pile in the basement room in Proudspire Manor.
Being part dragon I need a loot pile.

Yeah, should be interesting! I'm hoping for a new daedric realm or small landmass in Tamriel.
Unfortunately though, lots of articles on the web seem convinced that the DLC will involve Mehrunes Dagon and the Mythic Dawn simply because the word 'dawn' was in a word recently trademarked by Bethesda (Dawnguard). I mean, it's just as likely that it will be about Meridia seeing as her main artifact in Skyrim is called Dawnbreaker.

I recall reading an in-game book called The Great War that said the Thalmor had used "dawn magicks" to make the moons of Nirn disappear for two years (then reappear) - so I'd hope it has something to do with that instead.

They're idiots. And I mean unambigious, grade A morons who think the new DLC will be about a conflict that's already covered in Oblivion's main quest.
The word "dawn" could mean anything in the Elder Scrolls. Tamriel means "Dawn's Beauty." There's the Dawn Era, the beginning of time. There's the concept of the "dawning" in Tamrielic metaphysics. Or it could be about Magnus, who left or died during the first dawn.
It doesn't matter. It's a ubiquitious word with a subjective 95% of your guesses being humiliatingly wrong.

Also I FINALLY unlocked every single word of every single shout.
Also I did Shalidor's Maze that was fun.
Now back to trying to get 2000 people killed I guess.

That was my thought. And any DLC is probably several months out, since they can't even tease it yet. And even further out for non-Xbox players.greengoron89 wrote...

DA2; the Thalmor are too strerotypical in nature; guessing to generate a desire to oppose them. At least, I did not meet a single sympathetic Thalmor agent. For the same reasons, I dislike 'Schindler's List; much prefer 'Band of Brothers' tale of rescuing the war camp survivors.
But I did like both game storylines.

Nope. But one is supposedly a master storyteller. Just throwing that out there.
Decapitating Thalmor? I prefer Incinerating their bodies, sucking their soul dry, and making their lifeless bodies fight for me

LOL. It is ironic how the roles are reversed in this instance - gripping, intricate storylines were never Bethesda's strong suit before, but they upped the ante big time with Skyrim.
DA2 had its flashes of brilliance, of course, but it was marred by feeling more like a side story than an actual continuation of DA:O's storyline - not to mention all of the jarring, clumsy gameplay and art style changes.

Please tell me you're not talking about Bioware here, because they've never been great storytellers.
As an aside, I'd been putting off the main quest (I had been instructed to find the horn or Jorgen Windcaller) and doing tons of sidequest stuff, but I decided today to continue a little bit and I'm enjoying it quite a bit. I especially liked the part where I infiltrated the Thalmor embassy. Very...stealth-like.

Edit: that isn't to say I dislike DA:O. I love it very much, it's probably my second favorite Bioware game (the first being SC:SatDB for nostalgia reasons) and definitely above DA ][ in my opinion. But to lift up old BW games and place them on a pedestal only so one can bash present games is...silly.

I was talking about "rich and complex." DA:O had one of the most hackneyed and over-used stories that I've ever seen. You know, Big Bad, unite forces to defeat big bad, and of course to unite them you need to do them a favor. Very generic.

Harsh, but perhaps not entirely unjustified - it certainly doesn't deviate much from the standard fantasy fare in regards to its plot structure.
But the brilliant thing about DA:O is that virtually nothing in its story is as it first seems - there are multiple unseen stories taking place just beneath the "main" story, and realizing them and how they all connect both to the main plot and to each other can completely alter your outlook on certain events, decisions, and characters.
Precious few other games I've played have managed to pull that off with such finesse.
There's also no shortage of food for thought provided by the game - I don't think I've pondered on and speculated about a game's characters, lore, history, main plot, and possible future events more than I have with DA:O.
DA2 managed to show signs of this, but failed to deliver it anywhere near the same level as its predecessor - and I have little faith DA3 will correct that.
