Also downloaded whatever patches have been released since, so I guess we'll see what it all fixed.  Knocking it back down to Adept for the time being.

There are a lot more killcams. Especially with archery. I didn't used to get any (did that make any sense?)
but now I get them relatively often.

Yes, that's grammatically correct AFAIK.

There's a lot more kill cams with swords now, too - I gave up axes (which didn't seem to get anything new) just so I could watch all the kick ass new fatalities.

Sounded alright, but looked weird when I typed it out.

Some are kind of like 300.

I like the one where you bash a dude in the face, and then run their head through with a sword.
They added some sweet shield kills now.

Yep.  Made perfect sense.  Good to know.  And with the mod, they should all be clearer as well.

I just discovered you can turn off the opacity for the HUD completely.

Very, very nice touch. Now all my snapshots from the Throat of the World look like just that, snapshots.

You can also just use the console command "tm" toggle menues.

Very easy

^ I just tried that, and now my computer's frozen.

I'll stick with the opacity.

Nevermind, it just stopped cause the console command window was open but I couldn't see it.

And, I like the opacity too because I can turn it down. It's currently at half, and if it weren't for having to read the text as it comes (harvest X, open X, etc.) it'd be lower.

LOL. I still have yet to see Blackreach. I started that one Daedric quest for Hermaeus Mora, telling me to go there, but I figured I'd wait until I have to go down there anyway for the main quest and knock out two birds with one stone.

There's also a quest in Riften where an Argonian woman comes up to you and demands you take something from her and return it. You return it to the building that you have to enter to then enter Blackreach.
Well, one of the buildings.

SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS

Blackreach spans more than one Dwarven ruin. You can go back and forth between at least two, maybe more. Probably any with a certain...mechanism.

SPOILERS  Warning.  Those who haven't  done  Black reach yet, please do not read further, unless you want to be spoiled...

Stop reading now....

Blackreach is friggin mindblowing. Without even trying, Bethesda managed to do the Underdark better than any D&D based video game.

But that being said, Blackreach (at the moment, at least) suffers from one problem: the content in it is...sparce. Landmass wise the thing covers, what.... 30% of the entire Skyrim province? Yet, there's only like 3 or 4 dungeons in it, and only about 2 or 3 things to do down there (collect red nirnroot and find an elderscroll)

I suspect, though, that this wasn't the original intention. When you're down there exploring, there are hints that the Devs were planning on putting a lot more into it but couldn't for whatever reason. For example: why is there a named dragon trapped in a giant orb in the Silent City, and who trapped it?; And when? What's with the Human falmer slaves and how did they get down there? what's their story? There's a Giant in Black Reach. What the hell is a lone Giant doing deep underground, in a place only accessable via Dwemer ruins?

Maybe they intend to do more later on. DLC or something.

Man. I was gonna try to explore all of this tonight, but it's already 2am.

This will take a while, but it will be fun.

I encourage all who have not seen Blackreach to quickly get to that point.

You can release the dragon and fight it. Need to use a shout... I can't remember which one. Personally I find Blackreach incredibly creepy and try to get in and out of there as rapidly as possible.

It's been ages since I played Skyrim and I'm feeling quite rusty. I'm waiting for DLC before I replay my Stormcloak game.

Wait, I have done that quest, but as far as I know that was just in another Dwemer ruin? How did I miss that was Blackreach?

I just started a new character and when I was about to enter Helgen through the gate in the cart, it liturally took off and started floating around and my view/camera angle was going crazy and the other cart was on the roof where the little boy comes out off... It made me laugh so much! Sorry I don't have pictures or a video or anything to prove it but it honestly happened!

Image IPB

I had to re-start/load because I couldn't exit the cart due to the fact everything had completely messed up and nothing was progessing. However, when I re-started it luckily didn't happen and I made a Khajiit!

Blackreach is all kinds of awesome.

You have to use FUS ROH DAH on the orb BTW.
But honestly....that was one of the cooler moments in all my gaming experience.

Battling a dragon, in a deep underground cavern, atop a dwarven ruin with my shouts, and its roars echoing through the entire cave.

Seriously Skyrim does scenery porn like no other.

Yeah, so I totally lied when I said I was worn out on Skyrim. I've been playing all day today - and it was worth every second, for I have done the unthinkable: I have turned the Imperial Captain who ordered my execution at the beginning into my Dead Thrall.

This is pretty major, as it was by sheer chance that I found out it was possible. I happened upon a Staff of Zombies on a nearby necromancer right after escaping Helgen - I used it on him after I killed him, but I noticed that the body didn't turn to ash after the spell wore off as it usually does with the actual spells.

Then it hit me: run back to Helgen real fast and fetch the Imperial Captain - ultimate vengeance shall be mine. Several hours of running around, questing, and Conjuration grinding later, I've accomplihed something epic beyond words. Captain Stick-up-her-ass is now my puppet, and will execute who I tell her to execute.

Glorious.

I prefer just punching her to death and getting that sweet, MANY PUNCHES TO THE FACE kill.

I also used it on the serial killer in Windhelm.
Nothing says owned like an Orc crushing your face in, with his own hands.

Man Blackreach...just wow. The completionist in me demanded that I spend about 6 hours down there, before going for the Elder Scroll. Agree with the others, there is so much more eluded to down there than there was actual content for. Thank the gods for Candlelight.

Wait what? I've yet to come across this. I explored that dungeon pretty thoroughly I thought, although I have the Crimson Nirnroot quest in my journal ive yet to do
