Waited too long to get to experience this game properly on the PC.

Also, if you're an archer - There's the Craftable arrows mod. Which is something that should have been in the game in the first place.
It's not Black Reach. It has an *entrance* to black reach. But you won't be able to use that enterance until you get one of the quests to actually do so. It's also not the only enterance to blackreach. There are 3 other Dwemer Dungeons with Enterances to black reach, as well as several more "elevator lifts" scattered throughout skyrim.renjility wrote...

There's also a quest in Riften where an Argonian woman comes up to you and demands you take something from her and return it. You return it to the building that you have to enter to then enter Blackreach.
Well, one of the buildings.
Wait, I have done that quest, but as far as I know that was just in another Dwemer ruin? How did I miss that was Blackreach?

It's dumb that they didn't make arrows craftable in the base game. I think that smithing in general was poorly implemented.

I'd suggest the "Wealthy Merchants" mod.. It gives every town and city merchant 2000 gold. That's *just* enough gold to insure that after a dungeon run, you don't have to travel to multiple cities, or wait for 3 days to sell all your excess loot.

I kind of like Farkas' line. "A cave. Dark. Dangerous." Wolfman, master of the obvious. LOLMystic dream wrote...
Is there a mod that removes the sound that appears whenever you're near a dungeon/cave? I'd rather use my eyes only to discover them.

Oh and you won't "miss" Black reach. lol. Once you're there, you'll know it. It's utterly unlike anything in the game, or any other game. It's got mushrooms the size of buildings littering its landscape.

Lol, that was the reason for my confusion. I've heard some things about Black Reach, and I didn't understand how I could not have known I was there. xD But I suppose those entrances are the mechanisms I "lack the required item" for. I really have to start the main quest some time now and actually go through with it.

Anyway, speaking of Namira's feast - I've been using Eola as a follower for a while, and I'm now fully convinced she's the best follower in the game. She just blows s*** up with fireballs and lightning bolts left and right, and never gets in the way or rushes headlong into danger like a lot of other followers tend do.

And much to my surprise, the Ring of Namira is actually quite useful - the health and stamina boosts have served me well, even if it does require me to choke down my enemies' entrails (still not very thrilled with the prospect of that).

^ Do you also kill Cicero? He's also one of my favorite followers, but it seems like most people kill him. His banter is most amusing.
