LOL. I'm the complete opposite. I have a hard time killing Erandur and refused to practice cannibalism up until only very recently (I'm still no fan) - but I'll pickpocket people, burglarize their homes, and kill and rob them with reckless abandon.

Also, are you sure you did all the Daedric quests? Or might you have failed one? Double check your completed quests list to be sure.

Yeah, I'll have to look through them. I made the mistake of creating 11 characters while on a character-building binge (I must have one of each race!), so I'll have to scratch my head and ponder which one may or may not have done all of the quests, and if I killed Erandur or not, etc. Nothing like making it ultra confusing for myself.

Poor Erandur. I only let him live once (my first playthrough), and he gets sacrificed the rest of the time. However, I never kill Aranea Ienith for the Black Star. I couldn't.

In regard to pickpocketing, I think the first couple of times I tried it, I got caught, so now I'm gunshy. It doesn't make a whole lot of sense, I know.

In one night I picked a dozen pockets, fiddled some numbers, and swiped some stuff from three houses.

THAT is a master criminal since no one even caught me.

You know, I've noticed that before, but I have absolutely no idea what it's even for. is it for when you're staying at the inn or something?

Those are for the Numbers jobs for the Thieves Guild.

Its funny that people think you are a hero and you can be a downright monster.

Then again its fun to be a monster in a game where it does not matter!

Huh. Never did those. I haven't done too many, actually. They should actually probably make you do more before giving you the main quest of the guild.

^ I think I was on my second or third run before I realized that I wasn't actually Guildmaster of the TG.

You can do all of the main TG quests, but to "return the TG to former glory", you actually have to do 5 Vex/Delvin jobs in each hold, then do the "special" job in each hold. It is only at that point that you receive your Guildmaster armor and the honor of being the head honcho.

Since the Vex/Delvin jobs are random, it can take a while before you satisfy the requirement to get the special job.

In one playthrough, I believe I did around 60 of them, so the highest trophy I got was the Jeweled Flagon. Someone else mentioned a while back that they'd done enough to get the safe (125 jobs).

You know, I actually realized that. They keep talking about returning the guild to its glory, so I figured there was more I could do, but I just hadn't done it yet.

I just recalled WHY I love Skyrim.

I stumbled upon a whole new quest, and this awesome area to explore.
This is like what 80 hours into this game right now.

Still its pretty epic to battle an Ancient dragon in a snow storm, with Drauger getting into the battle.
Shame about me just being cheeky, and using clear skies then dragonrend.

You don't have to kill her to get the Black star. Once you've taken the broken star from the necromancer lair, don't return to her and instead, go see the mage in Winterhold inn. He'll do the ritual to repair the Black star.

Once this is done, you can return to Aranea. She won't attack you, but won't be happy about what you've done. She refuse to be your follower, but at least she's alive.

Okay there is no way Storm call can be called weak.

I walked into an imperial camp.
Found a nice spot to chill.
Then used Storm call and watched the entire camp get blammed by lightning.

May not get any xp but sometimes its just funny to use something like that.

Good to know, thanks!

There's something about her, though, that just stops me from doing it. It's like I'm seeking her approval or avoiding her disappointment or something.

I still need to try out Aranea and Illia as followers. In my last run, I tried out Belrand, and he was better than I expected. Although I keep a helmet on him at all times. He said some funny things to my Khajiit.

Wow anyone else want to share their single most epic bow shot?

I just fired a shot from a top a tower JUST missing the intended bandit, the arrow goes over the wall and hits another bandit in the back of his head.
I got to follow it via arrow cam and DAMN I wish I had been recording that one!

Nope.

I have played from Arena to Daggerfall to Morrowind to Oblivion and to Skyrim now.

Its just that I had put Skyrim down for a long while and had just discovered something new in my 80 hours plus save file.

I want to be wrong, but why do I get the feeling the Snow Prince will be a lame drama with equally lame intentions than a beautiful Kirkbridian entity like suffering holy betrayal? Really, the Falmer, the builders of holy Snow-Throat Tower, were subjugated and blinded by the Bartlebyian dwarven race because they ate mushrooms. How dumb, as the whales said when they saw the dirt patch in the sky because of the pie-popping Dagon.

I hope Bethesda incorporates an idea that connects you with the Falmer hero.

I love the Become Ethereal shout.

Launching yourself off of high places and humming "I BELIEVE I CAN FLY" then landing right next to someone and walking away.
Like a boss.

^ That's pretty cool. Become Ethereal, Aura Whisper, and Marked for Death are still my favorites...except when my stupid follower steps right in front of me. It seems some are inherently smarter than others.

I still haven't used Throw Voice. Not sure why.

Time to saddle up Shadowmere, and get to it, I suppose! :) Although I probably should get caught just once, to attempt to break out, and satisfy another achievement.

I'm not sure which Daedric artifact I'm missing, because as far as I know, I should have them all. Waa.

I don't know why, but I'm a big chicken about pickpocketing people. I have no problem stealing their dreams for Vaermina, or feasting on their corpse once I've murdered them in their sleep, but I just can't get past the thought of stealing from someone. Weird.

Pickpocketing has its perks.

For example, you can emploit the game to get free arrows of any type(in my case, DAEDRIC).

Note that before this, you need 70 points in Pickpocketing to get Misdirection(pickpocket weapons).

Find guards who are practicing archery on targets(example- two guards in Solitude), and sneak behind them.

Drink an invisibility potion, then pickpocket them.

Remove all arrows they have on their person, and give them at least one arrow of the type you wish them to fire.

After doing that, they'll be firing the arrows of your choice at the target- free for your picking.

I'm rather partial to Ice Form, myself - it's quite useful being able to freeze a mob of enemies and thin out their numbers a little bit while they're immobile.

Throw Voice has also had its uses - it's good for misdirecting groups of enemies from your hiding place if they're searching for you, and can also be used to make an enemy face away from you so you can slit their throats easier.

Disarm has also proven to be a boon - knocking the weapon out of a Bandit Chief's hands so they don't bludgeon you to death in two or three hits with their warhammers is nice.

And finally, there's the ol' Unrelenting Force shout - it's still the one I use the most outside of Ice Form. Throwing entire mobs of enemies across the room, or shouting enemies off of cliffs is always great fun.

So, have any of you with Kinect used the new Kinect functionality?

I have. I think its awesome how well its implemented. Fus Ro Dah is so much more fun now(as if it wasn't before).

Yeah, I like using Ice Form on giants, but once they start to thaw...you'd better be ready with a big weapon. Which works out well, since I'm a battleaxe kind of girl.

Hmm, I'll give those a try. When I was playing The Witcher 2, every time I used the Aard sign, it reminded me of Unrelenting Force. That quickly became my favorite one to use in standard fare combat - especially useful for blowing enemies off walls.

I haven't had much practice with slitting peeps' throats. I guess I wasn't exactly sure how that went down. Do you sneak behind them, attack, and it happens?

@LPPrince - thanks for the arrow tips! Seriously, why is fletching not a smithing skill?!

Yes, you must be in sneak mode and standing right behind them - the sneak attack must also be able to kill them in a single hit to trigger the throat-slitting animation (which if you have the appropriate perk will happen almost every time on normal enemies).

And no, I don't even have a Kinect - how exactly does it function with Skyrim, anyway? Do you actually have to say "Fus... ro dah!" out loud to trigger the Shout?
