I also love the ones who say "You're like me, eh? Don't fancy those clunky two-handed weapons?"... while wearing a steel battleaxe on their backs.
Guards in TES games have always been treasure troves of lulz - glad to see Skyrim is no different.

Then again I got the mod that made them yell "YOU BETRAYED THE LAW!!" like Stallone.

Poor dude could not do more damage than my health regen could recover.
You know I almost find it sad that at the high end you literally can just IGNORE being attacked.

I've read the story. Doesn't sound more evil than the Judeo-Christian God of the Bible. Destroying entire cities is just something that gods do. It's in their nature.
Sure, which is something both the Judeo-Christian God and Meridia have in common is often their distanced nature from human affairs for some unknown reason. Which proves my point about benevolence. It's a mistake to understand that a daedric god will always be benevolent. The mortal races, especially the dark elves, know that. Why is Meridia not held in the same esteem as the Nine Divines, who do represent love, beauty, hard work, and scholarship? Because they're wary of her, especially her alliance with the cruel Castellan of White-Gold.

Sounds like it's high time you turn up the difficulty to Master.

It just makes combat boring as hell because of how long it takes to kill things.
Some issue I had in TOR.
Combat late level just takes FOREVER to finish.

Then you're playing the game wrong. I'm playing on Master and I still IHKO or 2HKO most enemies with my assassin. When my character is discovered he's ****ed though. He's an archery + illusion assassin, so I often cast 'Invisibility' to turn invisible, get the **** out of there and find myself a new position in the shadows to keep sniping the baddies. Casting 'Calm', 'Fear' or 'Fury' also works like a charm when I ever get discovered by the enemies. All in all, I play an incredibly powerful character, but not game-breaking overpowered like your character is.
Oh, and I'm not even using overpowered gear. I'm sporting the super awesome-looking Nightingale light armor on my assassin, upgraded to 'legendary' quality with smithing. My weapons are legendary daedric weapons, but not enchanted (I don't have any perks in Enchantment and I don't like refilling my weapons with soul-gems all the time).
Master is the most fun difficulty if you know how to play the game.
PS: This is my assassin's build: http://skyrimcalculator.com/#124213

I stopped paying attention.
I dont give a rat's ass about playing on the highest difficulty to prove anything. I dont care about min-maxing, nor do I care to be told how to play a sand box RPG in the right or wrong way.
I play to have fun, not to brag "HEHEH I play on max difficulty IR L33T!"
I dont care that I play on Adept, I just want to enjoy my game without having to ponce about tweaking my build for the best results.
There is no right or wrong way to play an TES game, and for that I am thankful.
Good day.

Did the gameplay change significantly in the patch(es)? Specifically, some things were really overpowered and others were nonsensical (like the armor cap that meant light armor is ultimately the best type).

What? How is light armor the best type? As far as I knew, Heavy was the best type because there are perks that make it essentially weightless.

Well can't light armor be made weightless as well? In that case you're using fewer perks, get the same armor rating (because of the cap - this is basically the part that I didn't like) and the bonus perks for light armor seems better than the ones for heavy (like increasing unarmed damage and reducing falling damage).
In any case, I take it there are no fundamental gameplay changes?
Anyway, I still plan to run through the game with another character. I have not tried archery yet. I did pretty much everything else though.

Is that a real mod? If so I must have it. I want one where the guards shout "I AM... THE LAW!" with that music playing in the background.

You should have paid attention, because now you went on saying crap and making assumptions that aren't true.

Good day.
The point of playing a game is to have the most fun. I don't know about you, but being an overpowered god is not fun for me at all. I like a challenge, don't you? And that challenge can be found on Master.
So how am I trying to prove a point here? If I'm actually trying to prove a point, it's that Master isn't hard at all. if it takes you long to kill enemies on master, then that's due to a lack of understanding the combat mechanics of Skyrim. If you understand the game, it shouldn't be hard ot p0wn on Master, regardless of your class, race or build (well, unless you're a jack-of-all-trades, that honestly won't get you very far in Skyrim).
If you ACTUALLY LOOKED at my build, you'd see that my build proves my point. It's far from an optimal build. It's far from min-maxing. I'm an assassin, but:
I'm NOT using shadow-warrior (highest perk in sneak).
I'm NOT using enchanted weapons.
I'm NOT using legendary daedric armor fully maxed out with the best enchantmens.
In fact, I'm NOT using enchantments AT ALL.
So tell me, how exactly am I min-maxing?
I'm obviously not a min-maxer, I'm a roleplayer first and foremost. And I'm still owning on Master, which proves my point that you don't need a min-max build to be able to play Master. Master is in fact the most fun when you're NOT min-maxing.
Just give Master a try and you'll see how much fun it can be, ESPECIALLY when you're not min-maxing, ESPECIALLY when you're not wearing the best armor in the game.
So next time, read my comment before replying, okay? Thank you and good day.

Nope, still the same good ol' Skyrim.
If you're going to play an archer, try to combine it with sneak and illusion. Great fun!
I love wearing the Nightingale armor, climbing on the top of a cliff, hill or tower and sniping everyone from above with my bow. It makes me feel like a medieval version of Batman. And once your cover is blown, cause chaos and havoc with your illusion spells (fear, frenzy, invisibility, etc.). Great fun!

Yeah, that sounds good to me. I'm going to have to make it a khajiit too, just because I haven't played one yet.
If you're interested, here is my build for my archer/illusion assassin. It's not a perfectly min-maxed build, but it does the job on Master, so I suppose it should do fine on lower difficulties too:
skyrimcalculator.com/#124213
My magicka/health/stanima ratio = 2/3/5. That means every 10 levels I spent 5 points in stanima, 3 in health and 2 in magicka.
But of course you can distribute your points any way you see fit. The reason why I primarily went for stanima is because it increases your max. carry weight. Being a thief that steals everything, this is quite handy as you can imagine.
The idea behind the build is this:
I sneak into the enemy's territory. I try to stay on the edges and in the darkness. I use silent-roll to quickly move through light spots without being detected.
I search for a place where I can camp with my bow, preferably on a higher spot.
When I have my camping spot, I'll take out my bow and start killing enemies.
If an enemy is close enough to be killed with a dagger, I do so, saving precious arrows for when I really need them.
If I'm about the get detected, I cast 'Calm' on the enemy who is about to see me. Being calmed, he'll return to his original spot, which gives me an oppertunity to stab him in the back with a dagger, or shoot him in the head with an arrow.
When my cover is blown and all hell breaks lose, I cast 'Frenzy', but this won't always work because I don't have the 'Rage' perk. If you want to rely on Illusion, you might want to get that perk. Personally, I prefer to cast 'Invisibility' to turn invisible and get the hell out of there, casting 'Calm' on anyone who still follows me. Once I'm save and hidden again, I'll proceed with killing folks with my bow.
If an Illusion spell fails, try dual-casting it (if you have the perk, like I do). Dual-casting an illusion spell with double the maximum level it works on. For example:
'Calm' normally works only on enemies of level 9 or lower. Having the Kindred Mage perk, it will double the level of your 'Calm' spell, resulting in 'Calm' working on enemies of level 18 or lower. Having the Hyponotic Gaze perk, another +8 levels will be added to that, resulting in 'Calm' working on enemies of level 26 or lower. Dual-casting will double that number, resulting in 'Calm' working on enemies of level 52 or lower.
If you're level 50 yourself, then it's very rare to find enemies above level 50, which means that dual-casting 'Calm' with the perks I've mentioned above, will always have succes.
If 'Calm' doesn't work, try using 'Pacify'. It's an expert level Illusion spell that does the same as 'Calm', except that 'Pacify' has a base-level of 20. It does cost more magicka to cast though.
