It's not like you can't make any character with 100% reflect magic. Those enemies kill themselves.

Pft Enchantments? Who do you take me fore a wizard? I never enchanted anything, ever, if I had enchanted items they were part of a quest or from something I killed. Funny enough I have a **** load of gold. (Oblivion that is though I had some gear with relfect on it, and funny enough I killed the unicorn with a sword.)

I hope theres a way to get enchantments in Skyrim without going down the magic route yourself. I missed out on enchanting my own items in Oblivion because I was a sneaky fighter type who only really used heal and the odd invisibility spell with any regularity. I did try to do the mages guild quests but I got kicked out a couple of times and their demands got ridiculous to get back in.

Blah I'll just keep my Battle of Stalingrad game style if you can't. As in I'll just use what I have till someone with something better dies. Then its mine.

LOL that unicorn scared the crap out of me when I found it. I had no idea we were supposed to ride it. I thought it was gonna kill me.

I had FCOM installed and Duke Patricks, so I died about 20 times and had to reload an earlier save far away from the unicorn and the minotaurs. never found it again after that (of course I didn't even try to look for that evil forest grove of mayhem)

Lol what pissed me off and was funny all the same is the fact those minators started fighting me, as I was lurring them to the unicorn, and well it didn't do **** but watch, so I killed all of them, and it still did nothing, so I hit it like 4 times and it died. I was like WHAT THE **** MAN! The guide said it would be a hard battle and all of this crap. And just waltzed over and bashed the horse in the head. I was totally just like "wut?"

You kill the unicorn and bring its horn back in one of the Daedra quests. That grove is directly south of the Imperial City and northwest of Bravil

The easiest way to find the grove is to find the pub thats just south east of it and travel from there, I can't remember its name but I'm sure theres plenty of guides online.

Comic Con videos have sneaked out. Its basically the exact same one as shown at E3 but with the actual sound included which adds extra atmosphere.

LOL, it has nothing to do with Comic Con - I was there until yesterday and there were no Bethesda comic-con presentations or panels at all.

However, I did notice two new things among the rehashing of all the older clips in this montage that were broadcast previously on G4 and GTTV:

1. the conversation between the Riverwood NPC and his mother about the dragons just before encountering Alvor (this was also audible in the complete 30 minute E3 demo audio recording)

2. the fight with the frostbite spider where the PC sets it on fire.

There is a multipage Skyrim article in the September 2011 PSM3 magazine (if you want to buy this issue, you can purchase a digital copy directly HERE)

Here is the info I learned from reading this article, which is mostly old news, with a couple of new screens, including one I really like (described below).

1. The Radiant Story feature activates some behind the scenes game mechanic when the PC enters each new area.
Todd Howard: "A good example is when you walk into a town, we can have it [the game] look for someone with a child. We can have that child kidnapped and put in a dungeon nearby, one that you missed for some reason." In other words, when the cell for the town loads, the child is removed from the town at that exact moment.

2. There is an opening sequence in a closed area.
"Once you've finished the opening sequence (an escape from your own execution...) you're free to explore the world as you wish." The converse of that indicates you are not free to explore the world until you have finished the opening sequence, which is logical.

3. Dragons can choose to fly far off into the sky so you completely lose track of their location when you are fighting, making them more challenging to defeat.
Todd Howard: In a lot of games, including ours, you're used to, 'here comes the person at you' and you're in a hallway or an open area. But this thing is a beast that can fly off quickly, go around a castle and come back around. Often you can lose them and spin around looking at the sky because you don't know where they're going to go. They have a lot of cool behaviors that make fighting each one interesting.

4. There are some badass helmets in this game.
One screen shows the PC (wearing a cloak hooded robe with a pouch) fighting a draugr wearing a wicked looking helmet with two humongous horns on the top, completely bathed in flames (perhaps from the PC's spell). This exact screen was previously in the July 2011 Playstation magazine, but the version I saw was poor quality and I didn't notice the helmet

5. Light magic (from staves at least) can stick to walls.
"Dovahkiin fires a globe of light from his staff, which sticks to a wall..."

6. Only possible to have relationships with certain NPCs - and "in some cases" marriage.
"...you'll be able to start relationships with certain NPCs. Howard confirms you'll be able to make friends, recruit companions and - in some cases - actually marry the game's buxom wenches. Bigamy? It'd be rude not to."

This suggests fewer NPCs available for marriage). Also there is the suggestion of a possibility to have more than one spouse.

7. DLC info
Todd Howard: I don't know what we're going to do yet, but we want to do something that costs a bit more but is going to be more of a complete package....we're thinking bigger than with Fallout 3.

Light magic sounds very interesting if the AI reacts to it. If done right it could possibly be used to distract enemies while you sneak past.

Here - LINK

click on the 6th thumbnail, it is the one with a lot of fire.

this pick was in the july 2011 PS magazine, but I didn't notice the helmet before because the image quality was low.

Hmm...I won't need a helmet with improved character designs. I only wore one in Oblivion to hide my ugly face. ;)

I would totally wear that. Let the enemy see me coming, as they quake in fear.

I haven't seen the pic at the bottom of page 7 before either. It looks like snow or mist in the background creating a very cool atmosphere.

yes that is a very cool pic as well

the mist might be rising off the waters of the lake in Falkreath Hold near the North Keep, or the waters near the island of Sunguard:

Not sure if this has been posted. There are 6 new screenshots and the game is looking incredibly bad visually.. Perhaps the earlier images we saw are PR/Marketing hype?

http://www.neogaf.co...ad.php?t=438253

Luckily i haven't pre-ordered it yet.. Probably gonna wait till the game is released now before deciding in buying it.

Handy.   I hate being all lit up like a christmas tree at early levels to see everything.  As soon as night eye appears though things become a lot simpler

These were posted on the http://elderscrolls.net a few weeks ago and in this thread back on page 75.

Personally I think they look excellent. There is a little clipping of the hand of the guy holding the hammer, but other than that all of the pics look positively gorgeous IMHO. I'm particularly excited about the pic of the campsite and the pic of the woman in dragon armor.

Reposting for comparison:

I agree with Naughty99, I think it looks fantastic. The campsite screenshot alone has more atmosphere than alot of other games can muster in their entire campaign.

I think the link was just magazine shots. Which always look a bit worse. or early shots. I find it looks great, and like Druss I love the detail in the campsite. Its like a real one in most reguards with all the odd stuff laying about. Then again I don't expect ultra real game graphics every time a new game comes.
