Holy crap, I stopped at page 800, and didn't read all weekend. You guys wrote a soap opera. Bravo!

I hope it's over now. Image IPB

You didn't miss anything.

Yesterday, I did "The Book of Love" quest for the first time. Not sure how I missed it, but I love it that I'm still finding things I missed on earlier playthroughs.

The quest reward (Agent of Mara: (Active Effect) +15 to Magic Resistance.) was worth it, for the small amount of time it took (actually, it took longer for me, because I hadn't visited Markarth yet, and wanted to hoof it, instead of taking a carriage).

Wow I've never done that quest, or Sailor's Repose either.

I loved Wujeeta's response:
I wouldn't even clean my tail with this trash.

lol  Did you give one to Ondolemar?  The justiciars need the Warmth of Mara.  Maybe some Warmth of Dibella.

You can get The Book of Love quest from Dinya Balu in the temple of Mara in Riften. Apparently there's a similar one with Dibella in Markarth (Speak to Degaine). I usually just steal the statue. I didn't realize that if you went through the quest, you'd get an Agent of Dibella buff (additional 10% melee damage against enemies of the opposite sex). Black Widow, anyone?

I don't know if that Frostflow Lighthouse/Sailor's Repose quest even has a name, but it's way creepy. You should sooo try it out.

No, I couldn't give one to Ondolemar. The pamphlets had to go to people in Riften only. You're probably right, though. Image IPB

I think you just get this upon entering the lighthouse and finding Ramati with the Falmer axe sticking out of her chest:

"Find the source of the murders in Frostflow Lighthouse".

Turns out I've been wandering around Skyrim with a dismembered head in my backpack since last year simply because I didn't see the bloody ladder leading up to light the beacon. Six months I've had that head in my pack...

@Druss,

LOL. I think many of us have lugged that smelly thing around for longer than we wanted to.

Speaking of which, right now I've got Kahvozein's Fang and Arondil's four journals I need to clear. That's the only problem with random dungeon and cave diving, you do pick up quest items that may be there for a while until you clear them out.  Most are easy to clear.

Just don't pick up those Stones of Barenziah (24 of them? Seriously?) unless you are totally committed Thieves Guild dude or dudette.

I carried Wylandriah's crap around for ages in my first playthrough, because I was missing one last piece. I guess I was nervous about breaking into that farm in Ivarstead. Finally, I got up the nerve to break in after dark, and completed the quest. In a later playthrough, I realized that it was unlocked for part of the day, anyway. Derp.

I've had that Kahvozein's fang and four Stones of Barenziah for ages too. I'd really need to clear out my inventory, I'm lugging around two full sets of armour, several amulets, three swords, a bow and two dragon priest masks as part of my main equipment.

Hmm right now the only items I have I can't dump are the stuff the Bards College folks wanted. I mean they "took" them, got my rewards, but they are still in my pack. -_-

Oh yes and the Journal of a wizard I killed.

Similar thing has happened to me during the Companions quests, ended up slaying and taking more than the required quota (think it was 3) heads of the Glenmoril witches and were in my inventory for a while.

Wish I could display them on a wall somewhere in one of my houses, oh well I think I last dumped them in Lydia's room in Whiterun. Not that she tidies up after herself mind.

You can also talk to Vilkes and his brother. Both will ask you to break the curse, then one for yourself.

And poof all four heads gone.

Guys I have a question about the Bard's College.

I haven't done the Bard's College questline yet with any of my characters, because I thought that questline would be kinda dull and boring (my friends tell me it is). But do you actually get to play an instrument as a Bard?

If I don't get to play an instrument then I really see no point in joining the Bard's College.

In my one playthrough where I joined the companions, that quest is still bugged, even after the latest patch. They just never bring it up, or offer any new quests.

Edit: However, I believe I need to have the heads in my inventory when I talk to them, and I forgot to try that. Again, derp.

@Luc0s, no, you don't get to play an instrument. Sorry.

I did some of the bard quests. Mostly fetch quests, but some of it is a little better. Still not exactly what I'd call exciting.

That's a shame. It would have been a fun way of making money. Traveling from town to town with your lute, playing some songs (which could be executed in a guitar-hero-like mini-game), earning some money. I'd love that.

All thats good about the BC is the party and burning some one eyed puppet thing...well I don't care about that, the free food is nice plus the quests afterwards give you free skill level ups in a few thigns.

My favorite guild and quest-line is the Thieves Guild. I have a soft spot for most of the characters in the Thieves Guild and I think the Thieves questline has the best story in the whole game.

My first Thief character in Skyrim was an Imperial with a fake eye (his right eye) and his name is Garrett. :D The first person who can tell me which video-game character my Imperial is based on gets a digital cookie. ;)

Uhh that game with the Witches, what was it.....ah yes The Crusades, Murdering of the Witches!

Actully that might be a fun game. Well to me at least.

But yes Witcher 2.

Actully I might make me another character given I've finished almos everything (no really I have a list so I know >>) but uhh 180-200 hours of redo's? no thanks -_-

I wish they had some way of letting you redo your looks, but not important.

Level ups in a few things? I delivered all three instruments at the same time, and I kept getting messages of skills being improved. xD Smithing increased. Alteration increased. One handed increased. It went on and on!

Yeah I think I got a total of like 6 or 8 skills to go up one level. But I was a bit high level when I went there.
