Luckily i haven't pre-ordered it yet.. Probably gonna wait till the game is released now before deciding in buying it.

     Graphics are the last thing that i would be worried about when it comes to this game.

Yes, I think what we've already seen far exceeds the expectations of most of us.

TBH, before January I was only expecting a very slight improvement in the graphics from Oblviion and FO3.

I'm expecting much better optimization this time. Oblivion's is just plain bad but Bethesda was able to make some improvements or progress with Fallout 3.

Graphics don't mean anything when it comes to a good game, just look at minecraft for example.

Graphics certainly don't, but that never made or broke any The Elder Scrolls games, including Skyrim.

I wonder if that one helmet shown was the new daedric helmet.

Probably not...I'm sure there are a dozen of more different helmets like that. Lots more variety this time, most definitely.

I also see what looks like a glass mace and a long and shortsword.

I know each race will have its own armor and weapon style, but will each race have its own style glass weapon set?

I'm just curious...I think I'm going to be heavy weapon/armor this time after going light in Oblivion.

Hmm the biggest jump is !005 for sure in the enviroment. It seems a bit more "Fleashy" in terms of the PC and NPC looks but not much change from Oblivion to me i nthat reguards. Still looks alot better overally. Never could stand Morrowinds looks however.

Skyrim is exactly where it needs to be graphically when it comes to being the Elder Scrolls of 2011.

Agreed! It's incredible to think how much detail and depth there is graphically for how absolutely enormous we know this game will be.

Bethesda is awesome.

Seriously, what games have you been playing where you think this looks bad?

Why?
1. Just look at a picture of anyone, and imagine them with grey skin and pointy ear, there, you know what the dunmer look like. They're not going to have a drastic change
And 2.  We've already seen Skyrim's dunmer.

the best look at the Dunmer so far has been Arvel the Swift, the Dunmer thief who is stuck in the spiderweb in the 30-minute E3 demo and 45-minute demo Park citydemo.

there are a couple of videos that show him at relatively low resolution, but up close.

I'm really eager to see a screen featuring the new Dunmer character designs, however, along with Bretons, Imperials and especially the Argonians.

As for Redguards, according to one of the artists, the following pic is a Redguard woman, which indicates the Redguards have varying skin tones, as she looks quite different from the Redguard in the E3 demo footage

yeah it was pretty surprising for me to hear as well, but it came from one of the artists who does the character design. I guess there is a spectrum of various Redguard skin tones.

"Where can my character go?"

"What can my character be?"

You should've read the rest of his post. Nobody doubts that the Witcher 2 looks better, but it is not an open-world game.

Yeah I don't really care about graphics. I just wanna play the damn game already. I reinstalled obilivion and it's clearly dated. In fact I'm fine if the graphics of skyrim are like fallout 3/vegas. I just wanna play it at 60fps not 15fps.

yeah i remember being like this last year waiting for halo reach, but this will be better. Elder Scrolls beats Halo in my opinion.

Well you can't really compare the two. Elder Scrolls is probably the most in-depth RPG series there is, with the deepest history to the universe it takes place in, while Halo is the same, except for first person shooters.

Yeah the two have there own "cool" factors. Got to say though Not sure which I'll be playing and beating the First Skyrim, Saints Row TT. or RAGE. All three are shaping up nicely I'ld say.

Though I do hope we get more information on Skyrim soon, or at least the rest of the race renders in. Maybe more details on the Economic, NPC, and romance mechanics.
