Makes total sense to me. They don't have metalworking capability and are basically zombie level intelligence. Plus their dungeons are deadly enough already with their poisons, mages and those &#(^ Chaurus.Yrkoon wrote...
This is something in the game that I don't understand. One would think - in fact, logic would dictate - that If the devs are going to place in the game uncommon enemies that have their own brand of ammunition, that this ammunition would be, at the very least, comperable to the the lowest tier ammunition that your common, every day thug/bandit/hunter would use (iron arrows), If not a couple of tiers higher.
But no. These enemy's arrows, despite their rarety, do less than iron arrows, which your character practically begins the game with. lol That's right. Falmer Shadowmasters, ranked in the top 10 deadliest enemies in Skyrim, will pepper you with Falmer arrows, while the first, level 1 , Stormcloak/Imperial trash mob you meet in the game's tutorial will assault you with more powerful arrows.
Make sense to you? yeah... I don't get it either.

We've gotten more than that, actually
4) Screen Space Ambient Occlusion
Haven't played Skyrim in awhile but when was that added in?

Yeah, I thought about that, but then I noticed that their other weaponry is actually pretty good. Their swords, for example, do more damage than Iron swords, Ancient Nord swords, Steel swords and Orcish swords.Addai67 wrote...

Ditto with Foresworn swords.

Kind of a nod that you do the impossible every day.
I was talking to the Khajiit caravan and just had traded with them, only to turn around and kill a dragon in 30 seconds. To the Dragonborn, dragons are nothing more than fodder now .

I just shrugged and moved on to collect the bounty, while letting the guards struggle with the dragon.
Pretty sure the contract was the only one the dragon managed to kill too heh.

The dragons do provide some hilarious amusement in this game. I was doing some dark brotherhood contracts, and was heading to do the one in Dawnstar to kill the woman working the smelter. When I got there, wouldn't you know it, a dragon spawned in there and used it's finishing move on my target.

In my DB run, I killed both her, and her ex as he issued the contract. The surrounding mountains provided enough cover to move from site to site without being noticed.
But yeah; I spawn Dragons there frequently, too. It was getting bad enough that I would only Quicktravel to the Hideout, and then walk to Dawnstar if need be.

Thanks for this. I've never seen that huge crab. Well, I guess I know what I'll be playing today.
You're welcome. Even though this dude is already dead, and all you see is his carcass, it's still quite a sight to see.
"Quite a site to see," is the main reason I play and enjoy this game so much.

Sometimes I don't even bother fighting them. I'll try to sneak by or I'll just run up a mountain if I can.

Dragons seem to spawn a lot near Winterhold for me.

No; was forced into becoming a member of the DB; my first playthrough, my PC was drugged, kidnapped, and had no idea of the location, so I killed all of them for Astrid. When the person asking for a contract was as unsavory as the possible victim, I retaliated., and removed them, too.
The Emperor did not really even need to ask....

Some news on Dawnguard, AND maybe something new.
Obsidian is good and all...but Fallout 3 had more quality than New Vegas.

Fallout 4, though? I'll go ahead and chalk that up to wishful thinking by the rumor-starters. There's a much better chance they're gonna flood us with Information about that silly Elder Scrolls MMO, instead.

Skyrim's so damn good, it's got more than enough juice to tide me over until such time. Hell, I just started another New Vegas playthrough for goofs and am having way too much fun with it. Can't wait to get to Big Mountain again.
Don't even want to see FO4 for a while, truth be told.
