So....anyone at all wondering how the Falmer/Snow Prince figure into the DLC?
Image IPB

That was his armor in Morrowind (Bloodmoon) and the DLC files have been spot on for everything else so far about the DLC. So...is the main story going to be Vampires vs Dawnguard, and the secondary story going to cover the Falmer?

I mean we saw a flash of a Falmer area in the trailer so....

Or it could be for a future DLC I guess.
Maybe one that adds spears since the Snow Prince had a spear.

"Soft" male characters always get on my nerves. The only exception is Vash the Stampede. Vash is awesome.

Well so much for me ever getting to play Skyrim again.

I got my mum to try it.
She is now level 8 and running around Whiterun.

It makes me miss when Skyrim was all new, and there was something fun around every corner I have never seen before.
I keep forgetting that my mum played games since there has been arcades, and that she was the one who taught me how to play Mario on the old SNES.

Still its fun watching someone get to see the sights again.
And before anyone asks my mom is a Stormcloak girl.

Both my mom and my sister was hooked at "Yunipar Berries"

I just can't will myself to side with the Stormcloaks again - I still have mad respect for Ulfric, Ralof, and Colonel Cam... err, I mean Galmar, but they picked a really bad time to start an uprising. Even Ulfric himself admits it was a mistake in Sovngarde - sorry my Jarl, but the Empire must live.

^^^ It would be so much easier to support the Empire if it did not cave into the Thalmor peace demands when the military situation did not dictate such an act of desperation. If I lived in Skyrim, or Hammerfell for that matter, I would have a hard time beleiving the Empire represented my best interests.

Its a damn shame to see a continent spanning empire collapse but there was no one with the Septim's skill at leadership.

Its kind of hard to side against a nation I fought for in 4 games, but its not the same thing anymore.

That and Tullius is a serious jack ass.

Yooniper berries... Ralof 4 evah <3

I honestly believe that an alliance of free Hammerfell, Skyrim and hopefully Morrowind has a better chance at beating the Dominion than a dispirted, disorganized, leaderless empire which has its balls in a twist. I do hope Cyrodiil will get its act together and join this Coalition of Asskicking.

This is my hope for Skyrim and Cyrodiil in the future.  I don't think Ulfric is a John Adams, but my dovahkiin could be.

I joined the Imperial Legion with my main char and when General Tullius killed Ulfric I felt so bad. I really regretted joinig the Empire. Then I remembered my contract to kill the Emperor for the Dark Brotherhood. At first I refused to do that contract, but after Ulfric dying a martyr's death I broke off all ties with the Legion an happily killed that weak and horrible Emperor.

Your mom is awesome! Have you read some of the hilarious quotes from SkyrimMom

"I keep collecting lavender. I thought, 'Well, lavender has a very calming effect, maybe I can use the lavender on somebody.'"

"I was in a house and there was all this stuff, and it kept saying 'take it, steal it, steal it.' Am I supposed to be stealing things?"

On meeting strangers: "I generally wait and make everything daylight because it's safer. I don't know who these guys are."

"After three tries I finally told the guard I'd rather die than go back to jail. Now I'm just being killed! Why would anyone choose this?"

Hammerfell won't ally with anyone, they're strongest on their own. They have always been the nation with the best warriors and are unbeatable when their very nation is threatened because of the HoonDing. Not to mention, a handful of sword saints can destroy entire armies (taken to the extreme, even the continent).

Tiber Septim could only conquer them by instigating a civil war, and even then those plans were ultimately thwarted by Cyrus and Tiber Septim had to allow serious concessions.

Screw Tiber Septim, screw Talos, screw the Empire, and screw Skyrim.

Even the mighty TIber Septim could only defeat the Aldmeri Dominion by making a deal with the Tribunal and set the Numidium (Liberty Prime) on them. What are those suckers going to do now?

There is no hope, unless someone goes Aegon I Targaryen on them with a host of dragons.

Personally I think the only real hope for Tamriel against the Thalmor is if they work in common interest.

The Empire only works in the common interest of Cyrodil.
They sold out two provinces to save their skin already, they cant be trusted to work in common self interest.

Then again the Thalmor do have to deal with rebels, and they lost the last war so who knows.

Maybe TES 6 will be about kicking their golden arses right proper.

Gametrailers are showing Dawnguard at 1pm PDT (which according to my watch is 15 minutes from now) according to their schedule.

I'd rather TES 6 be either about the return of the Dwemer, or about Akavir - the Akaviri have been alluded to more than enough in the series, now I want to see them for myself.

It would be great if it were set in the period when the Tsaeci and Akaviris were at war

I'm slightly disappointed the Akaviri weren't involved in Skyrim in some form - dragons originally hailed from Akavir IIRC, and the Akaviri were the first dragon hunters and founders of the Blades. Would've been awesome to encounter at least one - perhaps to replace the b****y innkeeper and the crazy old fogey.

They might put something like that in a future Skyrim DLC - would be nice.

I want some ship and possibly a pirate theme. Let us explore Nalonga unless if it's also at the bottom of the sea with Yokunda.

Probably all Akaviri were eaten by the snakes and became Tsaesci.
