^Use your XBOX 360 controller with your PC. Bethesda does a great job of supporting it. I use it on occasion.

Best of both worlds for console gamers migrating over to PC.

Think about it though, most of us get kind of pissed off at rude NPCs, and take gleeful delight in rubbing them out. Then again maybe that is just my lack of sleep talking.

I mean some get angry at the Empire and respond by thoroughly trashing them in civil war. Still...I wonder about my main I mean he has 40 dragon souls in his body right now,,,that cant be good.

Ok well I really have no idea what to do now.
took off ALL mods AND started a new game.
Turned all settings to the bare minimum.
after 2 hours of play it let me go through 3 dungeons get the first dragon word and just as I was thinking hey it was a mod.
Crash monitor goes black and I R sad face because I was really getting into it.
*sigh this isn't a game anymore its godamn chore.

Did you try using one of ENB mods? I remember it tremendously improving the stability of the game when I installed it last year.
Not to mention it makes the game beautiful as well (well, depending on custom configuration, of course).
Can't really imagine playing Skyrim without it.

No offense, but don't you think 2 consecutive pages of this is enough?  We're not tech support.  Who gave you the impression that we can solve your problems?


Bethesda has an entire forum (here) dedicated to dealing with   technical  issues in  Skyrim.   There's even a http://forums.bethso...ng-gameplay/]76 page thread[/url] that specifically addresses  Crashes.  You're wasting your time with us.  Go to  the source.

PS:  Crashes to Black or Blue screens are almost always Hardware related.  Namely  memory.  But again, don't take my word for it.  Go to Bethesda and get your  answers.

I finally completed the main quest yesterday. It was epic, haha.'









I have now created a pretty Nord, but I will have to wait for Dawnguard when she becomes a werewolf. I want to try out the werwolf gameplay when the perk tree has been added. My Breton never used beast form and cured herself when she had the chance.

What are your specs? And what resolution are you playing at? 

Are you running the latest drivers for your GPU?

I forgot to snag a screen shot when my mage used LIGHTNING STORM as a final blast against Alduin.

Poor bugger probably did not see that coming right at his face.
It was also pretty funny to watch his disintegrate under that barrage.

She was in Markarth, in that little area where Calcelmo and his nephew (?) usually hang out. She hoofed it from Whiterun to Markarth, specifically to speak to Eola, who is now her follower.

I was so bummed out. I actually saw the headless horseman for the first time last night. (It took over 1000 hours for him to finally show up in one of my playthroughs). I had Minya follow him for a bit. After killing some wolves, and an assassin from the DB, she looted his body, and immediately afterwards, my 360 locked up. Waa? After restarting from my last save, I did all the same stuff, and instead of the HH showing up, a Khajiit thief did. *sigh*. Dang it.

It seems like the latest patch has made a few things a bit wonky.

Ah, I see that it Calcemo's hangout spot now.  I haven't seen the HH in months, but he seemed a like a regular visitor when I first started playing.  I'm pretty sure he calls Whiterun Hold his haunting ground and I once followed him (he moves fast!) to that cemetary in the middle of nowhere...it's right by the crypt where the Companions send you to retrieve Wuuthrad's fragments as a initial test.

I turned off the flash, and made sure the lighting in the room was decent (but not reflected in the tv). I stumbled upon a "Program" setting on my camera, that allows me to adjust flash, ISO speed, etc. I have it set to no flash, and 400 speed. I also set the resolution to high. Some of my other shots didn't turn out great. I'll upload one of the bad ones, and attach it in a few minutes.
Trust me, it took me a while to get that all figured out. My camera is a few years old (Canon PowerShot A620).

I think you also need to also make sure you're in a place in-game that has enough lighting.

And this one is pretty dark, although I guess it didn't turn out too bad, considering.

Ah I see, so year won't work for me, windows glare on my tv even when shaded lol.

In other news, new Skyrim Avatar props on XBL, Arrow to the knee and Fus Ro Doh are pretty funny.

I'm thinking that eventually, I might use Ahtar (the executioner/jailer from Solitude) as a follower. Redguards, FTW! Have any of you guys used him?

I did a couple of times, he's a beast with a good two handed Axe and heavy Armor, crappy at sneaking and mages if you don't back him up can bring him down fast.

Hmm, that's unfortunate. Well, Minya is a 2-handed warrior/archer, so I guess I don't really need two of them. I just keep hoping something has been fixed with some of the followers Barbas-ing into the pc, because I'd really like to recruit Cicero again.
