How you deal with Heimskr is beyond me.

At the very least, you can ****** him off BEFORE you kill him.

I actually like him

His rants against the Thalmor are funny :D

And I like when he says"Talos the mighty! Talos the unerring! Talos the unassailable!"

I wonder who is the most killed non-essential NPC in Skyrim.

I've got a hitlist for Skyrim NPCs, actually - among them are:

Heimskr
Nazeem
Idolaf Battle-Born
Belethor
Farengar Secret-Fire
Hogni Red-Arm
Kjeld the Younger
Sibbi Black-Briar

I'd also love to kill, but sadly can't:

Olfrid Battle-Born
Rolff Stone-Fist
Delphine

There are others for both lists, but my mind is drawing a blank at the moment.

I imagine some people look for M'aiq the Liar just so they can kill him.

*gasp* Who dares kill M'aiq the Liar? I shall rain an ungodly fire down upon whoever would harm one of my favorite characters in the game. >:|

When I first ran into M'aiq in Skyrim(rather early actually, on the way to Riverwood), I swung at him mercilessly.

Its cool though, he forgives and stuff.

The first thing I did when I saw him (after talking to him, of course), was try to pick his pocket.

He had a couple bottles of skooma.

Rolff Stone-Fist

I tried to kill him with the first character I played, who was a Dunmer. Took me several times before figuring out he was essential  - managed to backstab him in an alley and make him tebow.

Power of the PC mods :)
We can mod and kill these guys. Delphine was my first target.

Oh the things i have done to her ... I didnt like her from the start and Paarthurnax "order" was the final nail to her coffin!

Plus part of his spiel was written by Michael Kirkbride.

Heimskr bringing the Word of MK to a troubled land.  All these milk drinkers who can't stand a little shouting aren't worthy of it.

Since people were posting pics, here's my Stormcloak.  =]

Looks like a younger Idgrod Ravencrone.

Also, in my Skyrim there are no essential NPCs. Ask Delphine and Ulfric. Well, and Irileth.

So... if you decide to just go to Windhelm and kill Ulfric and his General.... what happens? Does the Civil war questline suddenly end?

You have to do it at the right time to avoid breaking the main quest. Like, after the Greybeard peace talk.

So basically, you get to kill Ulfric a little bit sooner than you'd normally be able to.

My reaction as well. M'aiq the Liar is one of my favorite little surprises in the game. I could never kill a Khajiit in cold blood; they're just so dang cute! Although the DB keeps sending them to try to kill me. Guess I better join up soon, to save the needless slaughter.

I actually don't mind Heimskr. Sure, he's loud, and his speel doesn't change, but it's a good one, and heartfelt. I give the guy a break.

Jarl Balgruuf's son, though - the one who insinuates that my Dragonborn is a bootlicker - that kid needs to say hello to my little friend.

I just point and laugh when I side against his pops, and send his family packing!

Enjoy living in a basement!

I only did the war questline in one playthrough, and sided with the Stormcloaks. I felt absolutely terrible when I found Balgruuf and company in the basement of the Blue Palace.

Since then, I've just kind of pretended the civil war didn't exist, so I could continue looting both camps throughout Skyrim.

I have serious questing OCD.

I see a quest...I MUST DO IT.
With a few exceptions.

None of my current NPCs have yet done the Mephala, or Namaria quest line.

Namira is the first one I did in this playthrough. I like the perk from Namira's ring, but seeing "Feed" every time I go to loot someone's corpse gets tiresome after a while.

I need to do Boethiah's quest, so I can get the Ebony armor, but my character is only level 10. I wonder if she could survive that.

So your questing OCD makes you do quests like...immediately? So do you plan who you talk to, then, so that you have control over which quest you do next?

Wow.

So many CTD for me recently.
Its not related to mods since I unloaded all of them and it still happens.

But it should not be happening since I have run Skyrim fine for months....huh.
Well I was looking at getting a new laptop anyway.

I'm fine with that!  I wish I had been able to give her back her seat.  Maybe someday.

I have the mod that lets you kill the camp generals, but I stopped raiding for now because I'm leery of messing up the quest line.  I plan to do a lot of other crap first before I finish, so don't want to find out at the end that I bugged out by excessive bloodthirst.  Camp raids sure are fun though.  Image IPB

Does someone have a link to that 4gb Skyrim mod?
I just keep getting more and more CTD.
