I would love to see some climbing skills. It's annoying to have polygonal games with 3D models and environments and have the games not take full advantage of the game worlds created. At least there is jumping and swimming, unlike the unsettling rails put on alot of games where characters can't even wade through puddles or have to take a far more difficult path just because they can't hop a fence. Bethesda is on the right track, I hope they (or any other company) will allow for climbing in future RPG/exploration games.

At the very least I wish we could climb ladders and ropes. Oblivion has ladders but we get a loading screen instead. That's just lazy I think.

Other than the facts that the armor system is simplified and that there is no Fighters Guild or Mages Guild, I have full confidence in Skyrim.

Almost 3 months till release (which isn't long) and Bethesda still hasn't released basic information for PC gamers. All I want to know if there will be a physical collector's edition. If not put the frakking game on Steam now for pre-order. I'm guessing Skyrim will require Steam too.

Skyrim will be featured at QuakeCon this weekend (anyone going?) so maybe Bethesda will be kind enough to finally reveal information we want to hear.

I haven't seen any mention of CE for Skyrim, least not at major retailers. Now I think there is a limited number at some of your mom and pop shops. Naughty will know either way.

I'm still waiting to pre-order Skyrim. I hope the CE will be nice. I've heard nothing yet about it either...so it seems we're all in the dark.

If there isn't a CE announced at quake con im just preordering the standard ed, which means ill also be able to preorder the Halo CE Remake:)

I'm hoping its along the lines of Oblivions CE. I prefer things like books that expand the lore and Oblivion had one of the best examples of that.

Absolutely, there will be a physical CE. Guaranteed. And perhaps even some sort of digital "premium" edition.

This is their flagship IP, and the past few Fallouts and TES games had collector's editions. They have gone on record as saying they think Rage and Skyrim will be the two best selling games their company has ever released.

In any case the game is not going to be available for Steam pre-order for some time, probably starting in September or October.

I just hope they don't do a "get this faction questline with the CE!!!", even though I'm gonna get the CE.

Neither as of yet, we all are saying IF And given most games from them as of late have had a CE they might as well for this one.

Hmm...whatever they might be planning I want trinkets dedicated to dragons, dragons, and more dragons. An artbook, stickers, patches, dragon statue, soundtrack, a Skyrim coin, and whatever to get my hard earned money.

BTW, if any of you guys have some burning questions for the Skyrim devs, there is a guy from the Bethsoft forum who is going to Quakecon and he got Pete to agree to answer some of his questions in person.
