Though Dawnguard does come with new baddies, so perhaps we'll have to be careful about Legendary Dragons.
Sheesh.

It would be super fantastic if they would drop something new, other than standard dragon bones and scales. Making a bonus weapon out of (it) could be pretty cool.
Or better armor!

Sheesh.
Hopefully they are different than the vanila dragons.
And I'm not just talking about looks.

I mean every other faction is filled with people snidely insulting you, being demeaning, or demanding.
I mean they are 10 times more polite then the Blades.
Guess the really do live up to calling each other "family" then. Still....its kind of fun playing as an assassin/thief.

I'm thinking they're just slightly different looking and the highest tier of dragons.
Might give us Level 81's some trouble.

I love finding new locations after an ungodly number of hours playing the game. Last night was the first time I went into Liar's Retreat. It's a bandit fort where Falmer have broken through. Falmer dungeons creep me out anyway, but this one really did. Blood everywhere and there was a dead bandit stuck in a bucket whose corpse was twitching- gah! Then as I go through, I start to hear an orc's voice talking to himself. I came to what I thought was the last room and there were dead orcs- I started to think it was a bug and the dead orcs were talking. Turns out he was in another locked room, having barricaded himself from the Falmer. Stupid idiot, I'm rescuing him from the Falmer and he attacks me anyway.
The Reach is beautiful but I really love Eastmarch and the upper Rift. A random NPC on the road comments that he thinks ash from Vvardenfell fell on Windhelm and made the area strange. I like the idea that you're at the doorstep to Morrowind, and you definitely get that feeling in the hot springs areas. Windhelm itself is my favorite city. It's the only place that really feels like I think a Skyrim city should.

I killed Erandur at the end of the Vaermina Daedric quest.
Sure I need the achievement...but to just back stab such a decent man like that.
At least I dont do that on my other runs.

Erandur's my main man atm. He seems to have more dialogue than other followers. You learn quite a bit about his life.

Still I am REALLY starting to detest my Khajiit right now.
Murder, theft, assault, banditry, assassination, horse thievery, cannibalism, sentient soul trapping, and lollygagging.
Aint nothing he wont do.

Does anyone else find it kind of odd that the Dark Brotherhood is one of the most polite groups to you in the game?

A three hundred year old vampire who uses her child-like appearnce to murder people...
And she is one of the friendliest fraction npcs in the game. >_>

And don't forget Astrid the control freak.
But you're right - the others in the DB are all pretty nice. Veezara was my bro, dammit, and I was pretty pissed off when he died. All of the Penitus Oculatus agents in the Sanctuary became lunch for my werewolf form, and Commander Maro got his throat slit real good.
EDIT: Right, censoring the word N@zi is absolutely ridiculous - it really should be removed from the banned words list.

I'm curious - I haven't played Skyrim since last year... did they ever fix the mini-army of Louis Letrushes in front of Whiterun Stables? I hope not. I had three and a half when I finished, I think. When I'd talk to one, they'd all move their mouths.
I don't think this has ever been fixed.

A few of the Stormcloak camps scattered throughout Skyrim also contain horses that aren't flagged as owned. That is to say, there's no "steal" option when you interact with them. So you can just climb on them and go. no one says anything.happy_daiz wrote...
Seriously silly sidenote: I didn't realize that you could get a horse for free in Riften after you brawl with Hofgrir Horse Crusher. It makes sense, though; you can get a horse at the stable in Solitude if you do some farming at Katla's Farm. All it takes is being a "good friend". /facepalm
Also, Re: Shadowmere's Gender. He's male in Skyrim. When Astrid gives him to you she says "time is of essense. Take shadowmere [...] He hasn't been ridden as often as he should"

There's also references to Shadowmere being a mare in Skyrim, can't remember where. Time to look it up!

Astrid calls Shadowmere a "he", although Shadowmere is identified as a "she" by Lucien Lachance in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. [/i]Astrid is known to switch calling Shadowmere either she or he, but never at the same time. This brings up the theory that Shadowmere was reborn or has no gender due to having Daedric origin. Shadowmere appears to be Daedric or vampiric, as suggested by her living more than 210 years. Glowing red eyes and near-immortality both suggest that he could be either, although Shadowmere's emergence from a bubbling black pool suggests a Daedric summoning. It also seems likely that Shadowmere was summoned from "The Void" where the servants of Sithis reside.
So Shadowmere is a mare in my world, at least. Still will be.
Shadowmare. lololol

Offhand, I believe that Liar's Retreat is where the speedy 2H warhammer is located (Longhammer?). This is also a recommended spot for blood samples for a certain mad mage.

7 Days and either there or where s/he died. Though a bug will sometimes leave it dead for good.

Take 2 male characters, Build them equally. But give one of them the Agent of Dibella power. Then have both of them attack shadowmere, then measure the damage. If the character with the Agent of Dibella power does more damage to Shadowmere, then Shadowmere is Female. lol

I was doing blood on the ice, and I thought I was going to see the Butcher get another victim since I had missed my shot.
Then Brunwulf comes in and chops the butcher down!
Nice to see not all Nords in Windhelm have their heads up their ass.
