No, they don't sadly. If say a follower is downed by a dragon an area effect attack will finish them off.

You know some of the mercenaries you meet in taverns and stuff, like that mage in Riften? If they die will somebody ever take their place? Because after trying some difficulty raising mods, the life expectancy of my followers isn't that good. Although it may have been my own storm call shout that fried him.
Yep, followers can only die from friendly fire. (Unless you have a mod that makes them mortal.)
It was a sad day when I learned this, as I had already lost quite a few followers.

You know I hear a lot of you talk about sneak-thief builds, etc. I...I...just can't do it for an entire playthrough. Don't get me wrong, I go through periods where I do a little thievery and I enchant the hell out of a few pieces of equipment and sneak...like...and den of vampires, one shotting them with a bow, but I just don't think I could do it as a primary character method. The urge hits me too often that I absolutely must shield bash someone and brawl. What is that about, really?

So a new mod which turns Skyrim into Dragonball Z.
Magic Duel look awesome!
I'm so going to play around with this. Nexus link here

I think I will start learning sword and shield as well.
It just has WAY to many advantages over dual wielding right now.
I mean you can block, stagger, and resist magic.
All of which dual wielding DOES NOT allow you to do.

The Stormcloaks may have good motives

It's Cloaks of Skyrim. They clip a little but look really nice otherwise. It adds them to NPCs in the world, too, and they're craftable and enchantable.Giggles_Manically wrote...
Is that a cape mod you got going there Addai?
If it is could I get a link to it.
Oblivion had a great cloak/cape mod but I cant find one for Skyrim

I decided to make a little contribution to the Heimskr fund to rebuild the Talos temple in Whiterun. This is just seed money.
Ironically, a Stormcloak guard tried to fine me and then solicited a bribe for dropping weapons. He's lucky he didn't end up wabbajacked into a chicken.

Agreed, I love the mods that change the world so subtly I forgot where the changes come from. One I can recommend on the Steam Workshop is called Radiance. It adds little encounters on the road, puts some added liveliness in the world without making dramatic changes like some of the other encounter mods.

Has anyone tried the Dark Brotherhoos Mage Robes? How do they look (there are no pics in the wikis)?
I'm thinking of leveling a new character just for Dawnguard. My idea was an Assassin-Mage (haven't done Dark Brotherhood yet, and Mage Guild's questline was my favorite) But I won't spend perks into Light Armor, because in my opinion you level too fast in the wrong skills if you get hit a lot. So I'm gonna take this perk.
Problem will be how much perks I will spend on the new vampire ones.
