My biggest complaint about Skyrim is that it's too streamlined in some ways.

Do I miss the possibility to customize my character via stats? Yes.
Do I miss the power levling of stats, like jumping from a waterfall climbing, jumping, climbing for 5 points in acrobatics, in order to max agility?
Hell no. There is already enough powergaming involved to get all your perks, and don't let me start with enchanting. I spent 8h straight to max enchanting and smithing.

So I don't like the SPECIAL from F3. Terribly shallow compared with F1 and F2.
Skyrim on the other hand feels about... right. Well except for armor rating and its scaling and magic scaling. It's a HUGE improvement over Oblivion. That game was an abomination. I'd say it's even an improvement comparing with Morrowind, even though I really liked some of that games' features (levitation, fortifying speed to move blazing fast, huge cities all within the game world and probably a few more). Though part of the charm was probably the need to go everywhere on feet.
Still out of all Bethesda games so far, I'd say Skyrim definately has the best gameplay mechanics.

Thought I'd show my Nord lady here as well. Jala Wolf-Runner. Yes, she's a werewolf. I'm annoyed I have to wait till Dawnguard to continue playing her, because I want to level the werewolf perk tree. xD
Don't worry on that at all. The werewolf perk tree isn't tied to your level at all. It works purely like the Vampire Tree. Based on the kills you've made while in that form. So even someone thats hit max can level it.

I know you get perks by simply using the werewolf attack, but it still sounds disadvantageous to me to start leveling the perks at a later level. Won't you be more vulnerable in werewolf form until your perk tree has caught up with your level?
I've found a mod that makes the Redguard outfit craftable and gives it the stats of leather armor. Now Asmira really looks the part.

You cant do anything to improve it at all, even in a tiny way.
They needed a quest where you take down the TG, and Maven like you did with the DB. As another path to take or something. Have someone else set to become Jarl instead of Maven.
I LIKE doing the TG quest, but come on how much fun would it have been to be the person who broke the back of organized crime in the Rift?
I kind of miss how much freedom you had in FONV to deal with factions.
From "sure I will help you!' to "****ing DIE YOU MISERABLE FILTH!!!!!"

Only two achievements from getting all of them.
Also I love how Cicero freaks out as you mow through his traps and ghosts.

Or create an effective police force, and judicial system that can operate without corruption and fear.Confess-A-Bear wrote...
Pft look at Riften like Chicago. Then you can shrug and say the only way to fix it is to burn it and kill almost everyone that lives there.
Whilst undercutting the influx of funds to said criminals and destroying them through very deft legal work.

OMG, you're not going to kill Cicero, are you? Noooo!
What he and Mr Ghosty said made to much sense.
As much as the other people are okay I guess, the DB only works when a Listener, works with the Night Mother, who hears the Black Sacrament.
As much as my Khajiit wants power, he realizes that to get the DB running again that Astrid and her ways have to go.
Besides Astrid is just a paranoid control freak, who is trying to hold onto what little power is left to her when the NM and the Listener show up.

I loved taking him to the different cities. He says some pure gold. It would be nearly impossible to pick a favorite line of his.
Oh! Oh! Maybe Cicero will go to Jorrvaskr and dance for the Companions! They'll... Um... On second thought... maybe not.

Lol thats been tried in corrupt cities so many times its not funny. Cops are corrupt given the nature of many laws are corrupt. You would have to remove everyone from the city in those positions and replace them with people with no connections to the region. But meh.
Also no I don't kill the short guy. He washes the night mother. A Job I don't want at all. Also I never liked Astrid lulz.

How can I be a shadow of death when I have a moron running right into combat again and again?

A fair point. I still take a follower with me. Belrand says some cool things - in Nord crypts, especially. And suddenly, he's kicking some serious butt, which I don't mind at all.Giggles_Manically wrote...

Unsurprisingly given "lack of qualified persons" they (County Commisioner Board of directors) hired all of them back, the SBI just gave up on it and has all physical evidence in that county taken by the Highway patrol and brought to Federal Depots.
And I don't mean small things vanishing, I mean litterally millions of dollars in stuff from Guns, Drugs, stolen cash..meh all the people around here with the "pull" to stop any of it profit from it.
Heck even if you raised the pay it wouldn't be enough. A number of them make 36k starting here a year, then go be mercs for 100k, then go an be private security, or in some cases enforcers. If you gave them one million each, men like that, well frankly...they would want a million and one. Then a Million and two, and so on.
But yes back to Skyrim.
What I find funny is almost all of the rulers that back Ulfric are either comically inept, or lap dogs. The Empire actully keeps leaders that either half listen or speak there mind. Minus at the very top, in the form of the Emperor lol. Here's hoping the next one is better.

I like how they are alle called Jarl, but one has only a swamp with a vampire mistress, and the other a college with a very small campus, I mean village.
Okay redneck queen and dean don't sound nordic enough.

for someone who says that fallout 3 is streamlined and shallow compared to F1 and F2, I am shocked to hear that you prefer skyrim over oblivion in terms of mechanics and gameplay.
The only thing Skyrim did better than Oblivion were graphics, removal of time freeze dialogues, and possibly better voice acting. Customization in Oblivion was limitless

Skyrim has a far more organic levelling system and I dont have to worry about if my STR is going to be enough next level etc.

I will take Skyrim with its VASTLY improved graphics, VO, combat, and DRAGONS over Oblivion myself.
Also the Steam workshop.

the graphics are better
the Voice acting is better
The combat is shallow and reptitive. Magic combat consists of using the highest DPS spell and pointing it and clicking. In oblivion, every spell had it's uses and could be used in cross combinations. There are few utility spells left in skyrim, and absolutely nothing that allows manipulation of environment.
I mean I would like for water to put out flames, or using physics to launch terrain and objects at people through use of manipulation spells.
Dragons are really boring now, same tactics and same animations. Hopefully Skyrim nexus will make something
While skyrim overall is a good game, I miss some of the features that oblivion had
