If you've set your game to Auto-save at area transitions, then you only have to re-do about 5 minutes of that dungeon.Addai67 wrote...

And... I'm stuck. In Dustman's Cairn, the gate of the little alcove where you're supposed to trap yourself is already down, so I can't get in it. No Farkas saves the day.

It was a mod problem- something called The Perfect Circle. Too bad, it allows the Companions to do werewolf transitions when you do.Yrkoon wrote...

Yeah, sucks.
For the first time I went along with the escape plan in Forsworn Conspiracy instead of just killing Malacath in his cell. Woops, now my Redguard has unleashed the Forsworn king. Still, it was satisfying to simply watch how many of those corrupt guards were being slaughtered.:innocent:

No, the Empire completely destroyed the Elven Army in Cryodill after they retook the Imperial City. The remaining invasion force was busy battling the holdout army left behind in Hammerfell when the main Legion was recalled to Cryodill. Despite the major victory, the emperor still surrendered and was forced to both ban the worship of Talos and abandon Hammerfell.
Here's the problem. Hammerfell were able to hold out against the Thalmor for five years alone after the Empire left them! This shows the Empire could have won the Great War if they continued it. The treaty was for nothing.

That's the smoking gun against Mede.

While they did win, Redguards are some of the best fighters in Tamriel.
Who is to say that the Domionion did not just fight with little effort, put in a good show and then call it quits to further smear Mede and the Empire?
But I would not put it past Azura to be up to something here.
She...is kind of a vindictive and vengeful spirit.
Like screwing over an ENTIRE race for their leaders going against her, or making Vvardenfell eventually blow up.

Now that Hammerfell is no longer a part of the Empire, that's a lot of manpower lost for the Legion - same for Skyrim and High Rock if the Stormcloaks win. The Concordat was a huge mistake.

Though in my current game things are looking up.
Since there is no more Mede around, someone better may take his place.
Like maybe Maiq The Liar.

The issue is that Hammerfall is also a devastated state think France, or Germany post WW2.

I don't know that she caused Red Mountain to erupt the second time - but she did cause it to erupt the first time. It's what turned the Chimer into the Dunmer as I recall.
I used to think well of Azura tbh, but my opinion of her has... lessened in recent times. She seems to be just as manipulative and deceitful as any of the "evil" Princes. If she's involved with the rise of the Aldmeri Dominion in some capacity, then that just makes me think her to be a villain that much more.

Well... it's her fault, since she send the Nerevarine on his/her quest and is therefore responsible that Vivec finally loses his powers and can't stop the Ministry of Truth from crashing into Vivec City.

Goes back to what I mentioned regarding the Dominion's adeptness at using subterfuge and political machinations to further their cause - neither the Empire or Skyrim are on equal footing with the Thalmor in that ballpark.
Still, despite the inherent risks of both, I feel like siding with the Empire is the safer bet - the Thalmor seem considerably less interested in an Imperial victory, and despite the qualms I have with the White-Gold Concordat, the Empire seems far more patient and level-headed than the Stormcloaks.
Both of these qualities are a necessity when it comes to fending off the Dominion, and the Stormcloaks exhibit neither.
EDIT: Also, all of the Jarls who support the Empire are far more effective leaders than the ones who support Ulfric - even Siddgeir is better than his paranoid uncle, and Maven was already in control of Riften anyway. Might as well have made it official.

Uh... if you're a vampire at stage 3 aren't many NPCs supposed to refuse to talk to you (according to UESP). Is my game bugged, possibly because I used setracemenu on the console to tweak my character's appearance (before becoming a vampire)?Even at stage 3 NPCs have been acting normally to my vamp character.
It just says most will not interact if you initiate conversation. Stage four is when they get hostile towards you.

It's $20 - up from what their previous expansions cost, but according to them it's their biggest expansion yet so we'll see if the extra $10 is worth it.
Shivering Isle was 2400 microsoft points which is $20 right? I bought Oblivion GOTY edition so Idk.

...so if their other TES expansions were $20, why the hell are people complaining about the price of Dawnguard as if that price was unusual or unfair?
EDIT: Oh snap, so Shivering Isles cost MOAR than Dawnguard - I'm gonna slap the next person who says Dawnguard is overpriced, now.

90% of the Jarl's are just useless really.
Especially the Riften Jarl.
Durr all things are going good! Doing nothing while the greatest criminal enterprise ever rebuilds itself right under your nose.
Its rather odd that the two "dark" factions treat you so much nicer than everyone else.
I mean Brozir. Delvin, and Vex eventually treat you like Superman.

Keyword: Expansion. This isn't simple DLC with a couple hours of content. Gorrammit how I wish I could get the game to work without it causing my PC to crash
