Ever since I've played Morrowind, a question popped up in my head more than a thousand times. Does the imperial race exist in Arena and Daggerfall? If no, then what were Ria, Uriel Septim and all the random, light-skinned humans you came across? All Nords and Bretons?naughty99 wrote...

Imperials shouldn't even exist as a race. [face_nottalking]
There were different waves of migrations of the Nedic peoples from Atmora to Skyrim over the millenia.
some of the descendants of the earlier groups were enslaved by the Ayelids, taken to Cyrodiil as slaves and became intermingled with indigenous tribes, such as the Keptu and Kothringi. These are the Imperials.
The Nords are descended from a mix of the earliest Nedic (Atmoran) immigrants and the later waves.
The Bretons are descended from the some of the earliest Nedic immigrants who interbred with Aldmer (the ancestors of Orcs, Falmer, Altmer, Dunmer, Bosmer, etc.)

It seems clear that Morthal and Fort Snowhawk will be located in the first mountain range to the North and West of Bleak Falls Barrow.

Whatever they decide it sounds like they trying not to makes spells over the top this time.
Although fun at times, personally I would like to see permanent reflect damage effects removed and things along that nature.
If they are included then im sure they will trying and balance them out a bit. Some higher end stuff like the Escutcheon of Chorrol was a little crazy!

@Rinpoche, there is still hand to hand, it's just governed by a different skill, probably one-handed.
According to Ashley Cheng you can still play a total hand to hand character, "like a monk"
**** yeah! You're the best. Honestly, their forums suck so much butt there's precious little butt left over for sucking. There's a global suckable-butt shortage thanks to their forums. It's crazy. I hate reading their forums, but in plunge in sometimes.
I always play a high social, high h-t-h character.

"Once players exited the character creator, they found themselves with their hands bound wearing tattered rags for clothing, and limping through a gloomy cave. For the sake of the demo, however, the players were freed from their chains and given a healthy selection of gear, including iron armor, several swords, and a bow. On the magic front, players had access to a healing spell and a destructive fireball spell.
Emerging from the cave gave everyone a new breathtaking view of Skyrim's expansive world. The environment immediately outside of the cave is a lush forest. The attention to detail in this region is staggering; both the high canopies and dense foliage make you truly feel like you are in a giant forest. Some players chose to interact with the flora, raiding a beehive for honey combs and picking mushrooms. Others moved straight into combat."

this means we are starting in a cave in Falkreath Hold, probably near Oakwood or between Oakwood and Riverwood.
"One person in the demo stumbled upon a solitary cabin amidst the forest, but its tenants – two charred corpses laid next to a smoldering firepit – were too dead to offer proper hospitality. Another player found a small, rundown village consisting of a handful of buildings. Though not as bustling as a big city, here you could converse with NPCs. One player asked the blacksmith if he could borrow his tools and did some crafting."
I think the rundown village is Oakwood.

Sounds like you kill people by letting off a dragon shout accidently, unless that's just for the demo.
Source?
and I guess in any event for the demo they probably buffed the PC

Fallout: New Vegas + 3 DLC
This is a really good deal if you don't have Oblivion, New Vegas, FO3 or Morrowind

Character Creation Options: "As expected, after selecting a race there's a spread of sliders that pop up onscreen to tweak the appearance. There are as basic as selecting nose height to as detailed as adding 'laugh lines', coloring cheeks and giving the Dark Elf one red eye and one grey."
Falkreath: "In the middle of the mountain range is a town called Falkreath filled with imposing buildings made more ominous as rain and fog move across the sky to soak the scene. There dour NPCs drag themselves through inns and complain of conflicts far beyond their power to alter, so naturally they ask for help."
Alchemy: "In a dusty corner of an inn is an alchemy apparatus where I can mash together reagents, flowers and plants plucked from fields, to form potions. All the combinations I try fail, so I steal a few things out of frustration and am promptly met by a guard that wants to escort me to jail.
Lockpicking: "instead of sleeping off my jail sentence, put two picks in the cell door lock. One pick moves along the top of the lock and at any point in an arc I can stop it and test the bottom pick. If the bottom pick turns the lock turns 90 degrees, the door opens. Or if I pick the wrong spot to test, the pick snaps."
Choosing Perks: " Leveling unlocks a point to allocate to one of numerous skill trees, from lockpicking to schools of magic to light and heavy armor, bows, blacksmithing, block, pickpocketing and a lot more. Points don't need to be used immediately, so it's possible to store them up across levels in case, at the outset, I haven't yet decided the type of character I want to be. There's certainly a lot of choice, as each skill tree features multiple nodes that trigger bonuses when activated, and most nodes can be upgraded multiple times for enhanced effects. I chose to upgrade my one-handed sword skill to do more damage, but it's clear that when Skyrim eventually ships on November 11 I'm going be spending a lot of time staring at this screen in agony as I decide which paths to follow and which to forsake. "
Mysterious Encounter: "at other times I wound up discovering the bizarre and unexpected. Take for example the black door adorned with a skull I found near a frigid pond in a rocky recess. When I approached the subdued soundtrack of a tranquil forest was joined by a faint, menacing drum beat. The door spoke to me in an otherworldly whisper while shimmering faintly, and asked if I knew the music of life. I ran through the conversation tree to exhaust all options, answering drums, screaming, some kind of choir. The door promptly declared me to be unworthy and refused to open. I don't know what the correct course of action was, but knowing that oddities like this exist in Skyrim is just as exciting as the knowledge that I'll eventually be able to fight dragons."

The QuakeCon Deal is super-ridiculous in how non-deal it actually is. It would actually be MORE expensive to do it than just pre-order.

A helpful part of this is that we're going to buy a super PC later on for our business, so I can just wait and then tax deduct (half of) everything.
