All this talk about kitty cats makes me want to ditch Mjoll, and recruit Kharjo or J'Zargo.

Or maybe it's Mjoll's incessant yapping.  I picked her up as a follower last night, so Farkas could get a rest. I knew what I was getting into, as my pc married her in my first playthrough. I'd forgotten how powerful she starts getting around level 30. Dayam! It probably helps that I'm giving her good armor and weapons.

Ah, well. I never had very good luck with J'zargo or Onmund so I don't use them anymore. Marcurio, Belrand and Erandur are better. Still need to try Aranea. Eola's not an option because I won't do that creepy quest.

Or Illia! I have that Staff of Hag's Wrath in a weapon rack, just waiting for someone worthy to wield it. Actually, I had that in my Orc playthrough, and made the mistake of giving it to Ghorbash. Let's just say we all ended up on fire when he pulled that thing out, including Shadowmere.

I'm pretty sure what they mean is:  "we've made exactly 100 gold per day since the last time you asked"   lol

One of my friends who is playing Skyrim for the first time basically RAN to the altar to get married, for the profit. I think she was married to Ysolda before level 10. I told her she should wait until she found the right one, but that's me being all sentimental over pixels. She probably did it the right way.

Then there's me - in this playthrough, I waited until after level 30 for my pc to get hitched. She married Farkas, and only 3 people showed up to the wedding. But one of them was Eola, bless her.

The  choices for marriage suck in this game. All of the attractive NPCs seem to be either, 1. Bugged. 2. Married. 3. Never interest.

I married Vikas on my Nord. On my other two, I used console to marry Hroki & Niranye.

The Wedding guests is an odd thing. Like I've had two weddings I can remember.

The first one was to Sylgia, the miner in shores stone. And I had like 12 wedding guests spread out on both sides.

Then I married the dark elf from the college and like 5 people showed up on my side only lol.

In my Orc playthrough, all of the Orcs (that were still alive) from Largashbur showed up. All of them. It was quite fitting, as my Orc was marrying an Orc.

I've also had Brenuin, the Redguard beggar from Whiterun, show up twice. Eola makes it the most often.

I highly (HIGHLY) recommend the "marry and divorce" anyone mod. Lets you marry pretty much anyone, then marry someone else when you get tired of your current spouse. And by anyone, I mean.... Anyone. My current character is, right now, married to a hot Bandit boss he met at Mist watch. lol

If you guys haven't heard Cosnach's dialogue if you're wearing the Amulet of Mara (after brawling with him), it's pretty funny. "I'd marry you! I'd marry you twice!", or something to that effect. Haven't actually married him yet, and I'm not sure anyone wants to.

Oh... At one of my wedding ceremonies In-shay (or whatever his name is. The merchant from riften that Brynjolf asks you to frame) showed up at the wedding. WTF, they let him out of prison to attend my wedding?

Speaking of Brand-Shei, I talked to him before planting Madesi's ring on him, and agreed to find out about his past. I found a journal on a shipwreck, written by his parents. Their/his story is quite moving. I'd never gotten that quest before.

In return, he gave me the key to his strongbox. In it were 2 invisibility potions, an amethyst, a garnet, and a Flames spell.

I still find it funny how people are so snarky to you as you walk by.

My khajiit is getting really annoyed with the TG for treating him like crap.
He by himself turned things around for them, got that crown, and rebuilt their name.

If he walks by without taking a job its just a bunch of people annoying you.
Personally I wanted an option to side against the Thieves Guild.

I do kind of feel bad not helping them though, knowing about Karliah and Mercer though.

I fully expected an option to destory the guild like you can with the DB. I would personly never do it, but I found the option lacking kinda weird.

What path is everyone planning to play, in their first run?

Since my first run will be my main character, Redguard sword and board warewolf, I'll be helping the Dawnguard. When the dlc ever comes to the dam PC
