I played it for about 9 hours last night . Shall I ruin it for you?  Hehehe, I kid, I kid.

I really couldn't yet; I think I've just grazed the surface. There are some especially awesome things already, though. Seriously, 9 hours, gone in the blink of an eye. It felt like I played for about an hour.

Finished it on Vamp questline. Good DLC, but not quite worth 20 bucks and the whole thing was essentially a giant series of fetch-quests, albeit interesting ones to be fair.

Crossbows are cool. Didn't see new Werewolf abilities. Vampire Lord is great and empowering once you level it up enough, though all special abilities being mapped to the shout button via favorites got tedious. Soul Carin wasn't that thrilling of an area, honestly.

Despite Serana's incessant repeating of the same lines be it during exploration of puzzle areas or in generic combat, she was better written than anything in Skyrim to date (like LC said). Also she had a habit of saying the same things in a slightly different way over and over thorugh the DLC (I'll talk about it later/Don't trust you enough to talk about that" or "It's so beautiful/Doesn't look real." Still I liked her more than any other character in Skyrim.

And doing that one thing I'm not sure is a spoiler after the end of the questline was epic.

I haven't finished the DLC, but I'm doing the Dawnguard side, this playthrough.

I think I might actually use something other than my Khajiit on Vamp side, now that I know what vampires look like, with DLC. Maybe my 2nd Breton...

Pretty much this worded in another way.

Just finished the main quest of the DLC. Armored Trolls are also useful cannon fodder. On a side note tis a shame you can't marry Serona. The best wrote character in the game hands down. If this is what we can expect of future DLC, can't wait, though I hope we'll get some NPC's you can marry

The ones we have now all suck lol.

You get the power to summon bunny-gargoyles that can be systematically ordered to perform various dance moves and use them to hypnotize the population of Harkon's castle as a Vampire Lord where you orchestrate and lead a tribute to Thriller. The Companions come over to join.

New VA, pretty good one as well. Easily one of the best in the game, plus most of her lines sound better than script reading.

Hmm its...neat. Honestly having played it and done some of the sidequests, and knowing the fate of those who are soul trapped...I don'think I'll bother soul trapping again honestly.

The guild system is really screwed up. My barbarian in full plate was head thief and her only skill was swinging a two handed sword. There should have been requirements for joining guilds...because as it is now, they are pretty much pointless.

I felt Morrowind had the best guild system, though the story for DB, TG and Companions was well odne imo.
