It better be armour as it doesn't have a tail. If they got rid of Argonian tails, I would be highly dissapoint.Addai67 wrote...

Note some of the concept art. I believe one of them looked like an Argonian.
I see here Egyptian statues of Anubis? or it's only my feeling?

I think I'm doing a pretty good job of hiding it, though.

This, please! I don't dare getting my hopes up, though.Ju13es wrote...
What I REALLY REALLY want is more armor, like in Morrowind. A slot for pauldrons (can live without the left and right) and beinb able to layer clothes (clothes under armor, armor, than a robe)

I saw a couple of statements here, and I'll briefly address them now: As for the removal of skills, if they aren't combining certain skills like Blade/Blunt (which those types of weapons are very different and therefore warrant different skill sets), or other ridiculous combinations, I'll be ok with it. I'm ok with Mysticism being gone as long as soul-trap is moved to another school and the method of enchanting remains as it was in Oblivion (Morrowind's enchanting system was way too hard, almost impossible). Overall the streamlining I don't mind too much because unlike other studios, Bethesda does streamlining right, and it was the reason I was able to so easily accept Oblivion from Morrowind.
Most of my wishes have been echoed by others, so here are the remaining ones:
-I want all of the individual races to have 2 voice actors, one male and one female (like Morrowind had). I was annoyed that Khajiit and Argonians, as well as Orcs and Nords, and especially all the elves, has the same voices in Oblivion. If I get confirmation that this wish has been granted, I'll be even happier than I am already with this game
-repeating the wish for many factions/guilds, and the mechanic of having to choose sides like in Morrowind. Probably the only thing I missed from Morrowind when I first played Oblivion. Also, in Oblivion, achievement ****s could too easily complete everything in one playthrough (no offense to any achievement ****s out there
-I want the talking merchant mudcrab from Morrowind back!!! And give him a ridiculously cute voice, and make him auto-kill you if you attack him, since he's just too awesome to die
-Hand to Hand improved. I want to see non-sloppy punching, and various styles of kicks/punches at higher levels. On a related note, give us staves back (not magic staves, I'm talking about Bo staves or staves like in Morrowind at least)
I think thats it.
Since everyone else has already shared their first playthrough options, I'll share mine. I will be picking the one race I've NEVER played in any Elder Scrolls game:
-Argonian
Give a literal meaning to "Dragonborn".

I totally want to punch a dragon to death. I would freaking love that. I played an Unarmed, high stealth, acrobatics, and speech Bosmer in Morrowind. Wore fancy clothing all the way through the game, only using my glass dagger on downed opponents when needed. I may have had some other gear for the occassional boss fight.
Damn it, I wonder if the Nordic hords will accept an effete cat dude as their dragonborn? I hope there are monocles in this game.

There are the "Falmer" or snow elves in Skyrim. Which supposedly don't exist but we'll find out.

Maormer were the sea elves right? Those only live around Summerset isle.
They live in Pyandonea. We don't know where that is on the map.
Anyway, no new races. It's better if Bethesda focuses on the races' differences further.

A lot better than Oblivion. Not sure if it's as good as the Morrowind one though.
Oblivion did have a pretty bad tune ingame though. I was sick of hearing the god-damn cheery music over and over as I went through the woods and the combat music never changed ARRRGGGHHH!!!
I want this game to give me a reason to keep on the music.

There still hasn't been any mention of how big Skyrim will be as far as explorable area. We have a map, but no scale, so we can't judge from that.
It doesn't really need to be that big. I could stand it being a little smaller than Oblivion, even. I pumped about 200 hours into that game, and I did a lot of fast-traveling, too.

Well, having just started on New Vegas, and with Skyrim later in the year, I suppose I will get my cRPG fix in spite of Bioware deciding to make action-adventures instead.
