Anyone know what I can do?

How long, game time wise has it been since you asked your spouse to go to breezehome?

Because sometimes it actually takes them a while.

Well lets see...
I asked him to move to Breezehome before I started the Stormcloak questline, and now I'm getting ready to attack Solitude. I'd take a guess nearing 2 weeks game time. Possibly longer.

Like I stated after I finished doing a few quests and he wasn't at Breezehome nor the old home, I ran from Windhelm to Whiterun and didn't see his body or see him walking down too Whiterun.

Yeah, that's too long. It usually takes them at most, a couple of days. I'd go back and see if he's still where he normally hangs out. Otherwise, buy a new home and see if he just shows up there. But you're probably suffering from a bug.

Well that really sucks. And I don't believe I can get married again unless a cause of death happens to Marshes either. I knew that the Argonians came with bugs like the other Argonian can't die but I wanted to give Argonians love anyways :3. I also did go back to Windhelm Docks to see if he was there and he wasn't.

Ah! Skyrim, why must you do such a horrible bug! :pinched::crying:

Yeah, without mods you flat out can't marry again no matter what. But, to put things in persepective, you're not missing much. you get Housecarls in this game. Application wise, they're exactly like spouses, except they don't raise money for you and call you "love".

I felt so stupid for trusting him but as I went in there I was thinking, Why was a high elf with the stormcloakthey only trust nords, then I started laughing when I saw him as a Imperial when I came back out

I lol'd when his note claimed this would be the perfect disguise. I would had fallen for it if he was dressed as imperial, since there actually is an Atlmer Legate in Riften.

Judging by the fact he has the DLC and you don't means he's a 360 user. MS doesn't allow or want mods on the 360. And console commands can't be used.

So yeah have fun with waiting for a few more weeks getting to play it.

:)

Meh shes not pretty really. typical looking.

But her charater is rather well written. I can think of maybe two others in the whole game wrote as well or almost as well. Plus great VA and more engaging with the player than 90% of the other companions.

Whats funny is you can offer to marry her and she'll come back with more or less "getting married isn't my thing". But technically you can't without using exploits or hacking the game. So to me that doesn't count really.

Then again my friend pretends he's married to high queen of skyrim in game.

Go into a blood rage.

I find something alluring with the female Orcs. I don't why or what it is. Maybe because they are strong women, wouldn't want that tusk going up my bum though.

I lost both Jenassa and Belrand that same way, in this playthrough..two of my favorite followers.

For some reason, (I'm guessing after the latest 360 patch, 1.6), it seems that if I tell someone to go home, or they get replaced by a temporary companion, that's it. They literally disappear. I put it to the test after the second one, and sure enough, I kept losing Farkas, as the guy disappeared while I was looking right at him. No words, no kidnap, no nothing - he was there, then he was gone. I even tried to see if maybe there was a glitch where he was there, but just not visible. Nope.

I took Farkas home after that (he's my pc's husband in this playthrough, so I took him back to Breezehome in Whiterun), and he's been there every time since. I also tried it out with Mjoll. If I escorted her back to Riften before releasing her, she was there every time after.

It's a sucky solution, but you might try escorting your follower home before telling them to hit the road.

And P.S. I love Scouts-Many-Marshes. My Nord married him. Image IPB

I'm not even going to think about that last part. Image IPB

But I agree with you about Orcs. They are just so.damn.awesome. My Orc playthrough is still probably my favorite. My pc married Ghorbash the Iron Hand, and had Borgakh the Steel Heart as a follower. Orc party!

Before I engage in rant, I must say I loved Farkas <3. My werewolf Nord married him :')<3

Anyway! But the problem was, I went to the Argonian Assemblege too see if he was there, and didn't find him. Followed the road from Windhelm too Whiterun to see if he died somewhere trying to get to Breezehome and I found nothing. And he also, as said isn't at Breezhome.
The last time I seen him he was walking out the door and he said "I'll see you at home love." or something among the lines of it, and then I went outside with him and fast traveled to Marakarth and that was the last time I seen Marshes.

I went to see if he turned invisible but noooope. Its like his character doesn't even exist. And I'm a console gamer so I can't use any mods unless if I wanted to risk Microsoft banging on my door for modding my xbox XD

Serana will turn you down if you ask her to marry you, saying its "not for us" - considering her very long and rather tragic history, I guess I can sorta understand why.

She does still seem to be kinda fond of the Dragonborn, though - I suppose you could RP that you're both together, but just aren't married. Not every relationship culminates in marriage, after all.

Also, I finally went to Blackreach for the first time last night, and all I have to say is... woah. It's unbelievable - like Moria meets Alice in Wonderland. I spent at least three hours exploring the entire place, and nearly had to leave early because I was running low on inventory space for both me and Serana.

I'd love to go back down there again and explore a bit more, but not until I wrap up the DG main quest - I have the last Elder Scroll, so it's time get get this show back on the road finally.

I'm also on 360, so I feel your pain. And I lost Jenassa and Belrand pretty much the same way you did, just under different circumstances. In both of their cases, they said the same thing - I'm heading home; come find me if you need me -  but they never went there. Ever. It was just Farkas that did the weird disappearing act. (That was something I fixed by quitting and restarting).

This happened before I installed Dawnguard DLC, so at least it can't be blamed on that.

My point with it was that maybe the other two vanished the same way, but I just didn't witness it.

Just a friendly little word of caution, though, if that happened to your spouse, it could also happen to your follower.

Hm.. I have installed Dawnguard AFTER I got married so maybe thats what could be acting up. I also did have a save before he went missing, and everytime he walks out the door now he just vanishes ;~;
I think it might be that door bug .. He might be stuck in a door demension of some sort.

Well, I guess its just Lydia and me now :crying:

I did restart the xbox, and re loaded countless times but he keeps vanishing. So I guess I'm stuck with a husband who vanished and is probably in some weird demension or stuck in the door bug. *facepalm*

All of the Companions have a nasty habit of disappearing, apparently - especially if you take them on as followers or marry them. Just something to keep in mind in future playthroughs.

Also, three of the Orcs at Largashbur died the other day. I got three letters of inheritance at once. I went back to see what the hell happened, and a goddamn giant apparently had killed them all (even though I'd completed The Cursed Tribe). I was seriously pissed off about that! Needless to say, I opened up a can of whoop-ass on that overgrown pile of ugly.

Yeah, I spent alot of time in Blackreach.  Just had to explore every square inch.  Pure awesomeness.  I was in the same boat.  Go drop everything back at what's his name's house.  You can come back and pick it up later.  Blackreach was the greatest area of the game for me personally.

When you get Dawnguard, prepare to have your mind blown. The Soul Cairn, the Vale, and a couple of other places that I'll keep quiet on, will leave you in awe. They're definitely on the same level as Blackreach.

You know...I have a playthrough on my 360 and one on my PC. I don't know why I haven't gone ahead and DL'd DG. I really need to, but I'm still supremely focused on my PC playthrough right now and have unfortunately forgotten nearly everything about my 360 playthrough (of...what...some 400 hours!!!).

Oh, and trying to get this New Vegas chip off my shoulder...well...you can probably see where this is going. ;)

The Soul Cairn is indeed a wonder to behold - hell, I was blown away just by the portal to the Soul Cairn opening up for the first time. I guess my past experience with Oblivion built up a ton of anticipation that we'd finally get to go back (albeit to a different plane of Oblivion).

The area itself though is huge and very impressive looking, not unlike Blackreach - though the Soul Cairn is a pretty drab place considering what its purpose is and what becomes of its inhabitants.

I am fully prepared to have my mind blown, or at least slightly ventilated. Can this please come out for the PC soon!
