So I was just reading the wiki about the new Dragon shouts, and holy crap are some just...well evil sounding. Anyone else wonder what the greybeards would think about using them?

Summon Durnehviir and Drain Vitality are my favorites - Durnehviir is awesome because you can summon him anywhere, including Blackreach and the Vale. In fact, you will probably be glad you can summon him in the Vale for one particular battle - he'll keep one foe busy so you and Serana can deal with the other safely-ish. Otherwise, you might get your asses kicked by a rather potent tag team.

Another issue I had with armoured trolls was that it just stoon there and let people shoot it with arrows sometimes. About 10 minutes after it died I got a message saying it left my service, which was handy information I suppose.
@ Happy Daiz: I actually took Chillrend out last night for the first time in ages, had to retire Dawnbreaker because of the problems it causes for Serana. So Chillrend was given another chance and now I remember why I put it in the chest in the first place. Does great damage but the charge hardly lasts at all. I'd love Umbra back in its Oblivion form. I suppose I'll just make another when I get my enchanting up a bit.

From my experiences, the most challenging area of the game for me is navigating the lands of the Forsworn; at least that spring to thought currently. And I have to wonder how much more difficult this would be if the arrows and poisons actually had bite to them.
This sprang to mind recently while playing the last few characters, and found myself willing to openly explore most of the other paerts of Slyrim, but actually planning and plotting courses to bypass Forsworn controlled locations. Perhaps this comes from the increases perception these fanatics possess, and I always use Stealth for characters, but when I read remarks concerning the ease of gameplay, I have to smirk a little.
Foresworn dualwield. Am I just imagining things or are they the ONLY enemies you face that do?

Don't some of the DB assassins you encounter Dual Weild too? I may be the one imagining things but I could swear I saw a couple of Khajit assassins twirling away with a sword and dagger.

Yeah, they do, fought one of them just yesterday. Also those thief random encounters often duel-wield.

I take it you're not playing a mage character?
I gave Chillrend to Serana right off the bat, and I'd swear that it never fully lost its charge. After a few days real time, I finally made her a health absorbing mace, and she uses that pretty much exclusively. Same story, though - full charge, after plenty of use, and just a sliver gone. Her magicka must be through the roof.

No, never trust a mage or wizard. I've noticed something similar with Serana actually, she's been using a staff of summon flame autronoch for ages and the charge has barely gone down at all.

Oh! Totally different topic, but something I noticed with DG. Inside the vampire castle, and in Fort Dawnguard, I found a ton of new books about Khajiit. Call me crazy, but...does that seem like it could be a foreshadowing to something to come?
And then there's that new path SE of Riften, that seems like it would go to Morrowind, that says something to the effect of, "You can not go in that direction."
I'm getting mixed signals, but the speculation is oh so exciting! Of course, I could be way over-thinking this stuff.
I did this on the PC. I think they included Skyrim and Morrowind in Oblivion as well. I wouldn't get my hopes up although I'd love to visit Morrowind again.

They just keep people stunned and unable to use power attacks the whole fight.

Although I'd probably be too busy wanting to touch all the Khajiit's ears and tails to actually get anything done.

I would only go to make a new pair of Khajiit fur boots.happy_daiz wrote...
I thought that was a new path, but apparently it is not. Darn. I'd be more excited about going to Elsweyr, actually.

Not to mention the place is, y'know, fully coded into the game.
If this turns out to be true, I look forward to it - it's my favorite province next to Skyrim (no pun intended).

Quick question to the modding community:
Any good multiple companion mods any of you know of? I just want to increase the number of companions I can travel with. I did a quick search on Nexus, but only found a couple, and those were not really the simple-type mod I was looking for.

I ususally equip companions with paralysis and fire weapons to 1) take the chance to immobilize and 2) increase enemy vulnerability to damage.
