I always kill her after getting her staff - I simply can't suffer the Forsworn or any of the foul creatures associated with them to live.

I got lucky in my last game, she died in the battle against the other Hagraven, so I didn't have to decide whether to murder her or not.  Still got her staff (from her corpse) and still completed the quest  (killed Petra.)

So, win-win-win.

That was pretty fun to watch.

It's strange to think that the organisation that explicitly has a policy against killing triumphs over the two more... violent guilds.

Hehe, pretty cool.  Shows the power of ranged fighters.  Of course AI tactics become an issue, IMO you take out the mages first, whereas the melee fighters were just running up to the closest opponent I guess.

AI in Skyrim is still kind of dumb.

For example AI in Pandora Tomorrow was far better.
Not that I HATE it, but sometimes I really wish that it was not so dumb.

Guards should not go back to normal with an arrow in their knee.

I wish the follower AI would be aware of my massively overpowered sword so they can stay the hell out of my way once I charge into melee combat. It would avert many unfortunate accidents.

I dont take melee followers with my mage.

Especially since I LOVE using Chain Lightning, Ice Storm, and Fireball.
Its a whole spectrum of elemental **** YOU!

I find the dragon AI the most disapointing, all they really do is fly around in circles until something wanders close enough for them to attack for the most part.

Anyone ran into vampire assassins? I killed one, got a note and a map marker, but a map marker is fairly useless when you don't know which one it is.

That's why the DB is in such bad shape, Gabriella and Festus were totally useless.  I did like Arnbjorn holding off 3 thieves + Maven lightning bolt towards the end of part 2.  Astrid also held her own because of lifesteal.

I don't mind the dragons AI so much since they're supposed to cause chaos.  Alduin however was most disappointing boss fight EVER.  It's like he just gave up.

Ah, yes. The Dragonborn, joined by the ancient Nordic heroes, versus Alduin in Sovngarde. A battle for the ages that lasted barely a minute under the relentless barrage of the Dovahkiin's icy spears.

The biggest 'screw destiny' I have experienced in a game yet.

They don't really cause chaos though, they just fly in a circle over remote locations mostly. Nine times out of ten my reaction to seeing a dragon is "Theres a dragon, its not bothering anyone though so I'll probably just wait until I'm passing that way to kill it." I wouldn't mind that much but they built them up to be alot more dynamic and chaos enducing before release. I know, don't trust PR speak and all, I had high hopes just.

I wish there were ninja dragons. Like, you'd just be walking in the wilderness and then OHMYGODWHATTHEGARFUNKLE

Like they just spawn on top of you and then a fight ensues. Or perhaps perched dragons atop some areas in the game, like in the demo that was shown pre-release.

^ They do perch, but I've only ever seen it at dragon shrines.

I'd be happy if they were just more free roaming, the main problem is that if I see one in the distance then I know thats where its staying until I kill it. You can see on the map that it's near Morthal, but it won't actually go to Morthal it just circles where it spawns. In order for a dragon to attack Morthal it has to spawn there. It would possibly be game breaking letting them roam about wrecking up the place but the way it is at the minute just feels too...gamey? I'm not sure of the word.

You know sometimes I think the problem is that Bethesda cant just create "Villager" or "Farmer" NPCs to fill the world.

So they cant just have dragon attacks killing people, or game breaking stuff ensues.
Personally I did like how the Witchers just had stock people with stock names so the game world felt larger, and not like some model village in a museum.

Dont get me wrong I love Skyrim a lot, but often its kind of weird walking into a ``Capitol" city and it has like 30 people in it, and 10 houses.

I dream of a day where technology has advanced so much that an Elder Scrolls game has Assassins' Creed sized cities and the same amount of people that Assassins' Creed has roaming around (you can obviously only talk to a few people). It's true that the populations are too small in Skyrim (and what happened to the NPC routines in Oblivion that allowed NPC's in cities to travel to other ones on certain days of the year?)

You know I seriously doubt most TES would care if they replaced people with "Merchant" "Blacksmith" etc.

Not EVERYONE needs to feel like a unique character.
I mean its just silly that I killed more bandits then there are PEOPLE in all of Skyrim.

Although I am looking forward to trying Dawnguard, I am not thrilled about the random attacks I am hearing about. Sounds like it happens a lot. Like the legion assassins in New Vegas that are just tedius after the first few times, but they keep showing up and pestering you anyway.

Bawhahaha!

Some of them do come out of no where tho. Now the one enemy that is ninja like and scares me is them damn frost trolls. :?
