I think Skyrim was just the right amount of "relationship" for romances. There's no need for more, and I hope they laugh at the idea of romantic sub-plots. Meh.
But, speaking of marriage and the like, my Khajiit character married
Sorex Vinius. Who? Well, he's usually loitering in the Winking Skeever, and his dad is the owner. I am annoyed by Mercer Frey's VA, who also voices Sorex, and a million other people, but I went for it anyway. I guess I should be happy that his dad and his niece (?) showed up, as well as Octieve Sans and the bard from the Winking Skeever. If I had done Namira's quest before getting married, I'm sure Eola would have been in attendance. She's usually really reliable in my games for that.
When my Redguard married Farkas, nobody from the Companions came. Not even Vilkas.
Edit: In regard to Serana, I think she's great. I wish the other followers could have been updated somehow to do the same types of things Serana does. I mean - how cool is it when she prays at the top of High Hrothgar, or in temples? Or steals chairs from people, so they can't eat? She's a great follower. Should she be marriageable? I don't know.
What I do know is that my Khajiit wanted to marry another Khajiit.
