There was a tremendous amount of info released in the past 2 days. At QuakeCon, they allowed 13 different journalists to play Skyrim for 60 minutes and they all did different things and uncovered new information. Also, Todd Howard did a live Q&A with fans on Facebook, there was a live demo video presented, and there was a pic of the Collector's Edition with a map that revealed a bit of new info about the town of Morthal.

Im really interested now in crafting and alchemy, especially at:

15 - you can learn Alchemy by trial and error, tasting unknown ingredients or making potions with unknown effects


This could turn out to be quite fun... or deadly    Either way its an advancedment that sounds really impressive and interesting.


I cant wait to get into the Character Creator.   Sounds like my first 2 or 3 hours in game will be just in there!! :happy:

The crazy part is that she wasn't even pregnant.  The game made her pregnant.

I just watched the video and it was simply stunning. Everything feels much weightier and meatier now, when a dragon lands it really feels like a huge assed animal has just slammed down beside you. From what I've seen the real time weather effects look great too.

I hope that there is a good variety of sword, I know its set in Skyrim but everything we've seen so far has been very viking like. I'm hoping for a proper long sword.

It seems like its going to be very difficult for a pure sword fighter build to fight dragons, you will need atleast one means of long range attack to hit them when flying.

The demo left me mildly stunned though despite seeing alot of it before.

To be honest, the only thing I found interesting about the Quakecon demo was the gameplay with the troll and the new book viewer. I've seen everything else. :\\

The dragon, the storm spell, and spell effects in general were very impressive to me. Graphics are average but I can live with that. They'll be better on pc anyway. Note Howard says the map is smaller than Oblivion.

How large is Skyrim compared to Cyrodil/Imperial province in lore? It would make sense if the map is smaller compared to Oblivion's. Then again, High Rock and Hammerfell combined are smaller than Cyrodil yet Daggerfall is MUCH larger than Oblivion... 
Also, Skyrim is handcrafted so I don't mind it one bit:)

The scale seem to be on a much higher level . With mountain and more city . Oblivion was much more copy pasted.
