Lydia didn't show up at mine. B*tch.greengoron89 wrote...
The only person who seemed to show up consistently at my weddings is Lydia - Sven often showed up as well.
One of the stranger guests at my wedding was Lynly Star-Sung - she fled Riften in the first place trying to avoid Sibbi Black-Briar, but risked her life to show up at my wedding anyway. I guess sending Sibbi's lackeys on a wild goose chase in Morrowind made her very grateful - and careless.

The skills I don't have at 100 yet are lockpicking, speech, two-handed and archery. No idea how you level those fast and I'm not going to bother.

The problem is that in Skyrim there are just so many freaking companions.
New Vegas had like...7-8.
Besides most of my characters travel by themselves.
Since companions get in my freaking way to much on stealth.
My Khajiit sent Lydia flying off a damn cliff after the 10th time she set off a dungeon.

Still does on the 360 biotchs lulz.

Personally, I don't know why they bother adding companions to ARPGs. If you aren't puppeting the companions (which you can't really do in an ARPG) what do they add to the gameplay? They just make some missions easier (with the AI, it's often the opposite effect) and in most of these games, the gameplay is easy enough.

When I went for the Werewolf Perk Tree achievement in Dawnguard, I killed WAY too many people and animals.
After I earned the achievement, I stood in one spot and talked to a friend over XBL waiting to turn back.
It took a whole real life HOUR to turn back into a human.
30 seconds per human kill, 15 seconds per creature kill.
Yeah, overkill does exist.

It can, but is rather particular. Take it from the shelf w/o reading it, and place it in inventory. Access the shelf, then go to books and read it, placing it back on the shelf when finished.
While some may frown on using such an exploit, it sure beats cycling through repeated practice sessions with forges, soul gems, mudcrabs, rock walls, etc, and gives a bit of lore as to why it works. Plus getting it is no simple quest itself.
