Why not just marry someone and get the Homecooled meal?

Sure it lasts 120 seconds less then Fondue, but its a once a day easy to get thing.

My battlemage is in love with Ulfric.  Don't rub it in.  Image IPB

If it was the old Nord ways, she could take a War Husband and then ditch him.  Thanks a lot, Mara.  Image IPB

You do know most likely he will mary Elisif though?

BGS might do that as a f'ed up troll, but I really doubt it.  She considers him a murderer.  Skyrim isn't like High Rock where you have to make political alliances like that.  He won, he doesn't have to make any concessions, at least in Solitude's direction.

Yes.

However if he did, he could more then likely gain power in another major city, make any lingering pro-empire people simmer down a bit, AND look like he is trying to repair Skyrim.

Its pretty amazing what your naughty bits allow for no?

Heh, between staying in my room all the time and referring to me as "my love" when I rescued her during a Dawnguard mission, I think it's clear someone has a secret obsession with the Dovahkiin - and perhaps he'll take her up on that. After all, there are worse things in the world than a pretty girl having a creepy obsession with you... right?

Ha ha, I knew it!

Hmm, the only ones I think look good on Khajiit are hoods (TG, DB, or hooded Thalmor robes). I don't know, though; I suspect the Dragonscale might look all right, or maybe some of the Ancient Nord helmets?

I tried a cowl, but the clipping on chin whiskers was a bit distracting.

However, after trying a few various ones, the Orc helm looks pretty good; works well with a Steel set, too.

Nah, he's already given enough to that crowd just by letting her live and keep her jarldom.  Which he does, of course, because she's completely useless and pliable.  I really expected to see her head rolling at the end of the quest line.

The dovahkiin is a much better choice, and I say that in all humility and objective of any fangirlism.  B)   As long as she's a Nord, of course.  Thu'um user and savior of Skyrim, etc. etc.

@ greengoron:  BGS= Bethesda Game Studios

My current character just became Agent of Dibella.   Damage boost to the opposite sex- that's a pretty good reward, though not as good as Black Widow in Fallout since the enemy ratio in Skyrim is pretty even.  In fact bandit chiefs seem to me to be almost always women.

Yeah i usually end up doing that quest on all my characters, I one time got lucky that both the little girl for that quest and the priest from House of Horrors were both in the same cell.. saved me a trip to another random Forsworn camp lol

I wonder if Bethesda is having a go at the Chainmail bikini trope.

Since any armor that shows a lot of skin is pretty much crap.

Is there a way to get past the double blade traps in the floor in Raldbthar with a mage follower? I still had Illia, and I was able to get past the blades just fine with Become Ethereal, but she ended up as a dead slug every single time, pretty much immediately. Clearly her mage robes don't do much in the way of protection.

After about 10 tries, I decided to go forward alone (told Illia to wait). I did ok for a while, but ultimately got schooled, and went back to get Illia, and vowed to come back later. Very frustrating.

The first thing I did when I got out of there was to fast travel to Darklight Tower, go inside the door, grab all the stuff I wanted back, and dismiss her. After my Amazing Disappearing Followers playthrough, I'm not willing to take any chances, so I escort them home.

I then fast traveled to Mor Khazgur to get Borgakh the Steel Heart.

Things suddenly seem right in the world. Image IPB

And we're going back to Raldbthar; I bet she'll actually live through it.

The only mage follower to get is Arneil's shade.
Free to use, AND smart AI.

I'm working on it, slowly but surely. I just brought him the 10 dwarven cogs last night, as a matter of fact.

Please tell me his shade doesn't sit there and say crap like, "Have you heard the tale of Mathieu Bellamont, and the great treachery of Cheydinhal?..."

Mostly he just mumbles out the standard undead summon stuff.

The best summon is the Dremora Lord - their taunts are pretty funny, and they are extremely deadly with that Daedric Greatsword of Flames they carry. I'm gonna try out a new summon from Dawnguard later on when I get the appropriate Conjuration level for it - it carries a Dragonbone two-handed weapon according to the Wiki.

He says all sorts of things with me, I once took Mjoll and him along, it was neat to say in the least.

lol, I got rid of them both, think I'll sell Mjoll to the blades...I mean uhh allow her to join.

The best candidates for the Blades IMHO are Uthgerd the Unbroken, Borghak the Steel Heart, and Kharjo. Mjoll would be good if not for that little bugger Aerin following her around like a puppy all the time.

@green - those new summon spells are pretty awesome. I missed one of the books in the SC in my second playthrough of DG. I need to go back to get it, but that character is strictly anti-magic (Nord).

My Khajiit mage is looking forward to all of it. Image IPB

Borgakh? Kharjo? Are you serious? The Blades get no one in my playthroughs. No one! They could have Uthgerd, though.

I don't remember his name atm, but that Dark Elf mage in the dream quest, he seems pretty honorable and wants to do good, so I tend to throw him into the blades, same with Illia who wants to atone, and my thrid is random.

Delphine won't live forever - especially if she's ever made a non-essential NPC. I don't think I'll condemn the entire order just because of one old hag with a stick up her ass - perhaps they'll come around once the two jerk asses croak. Especially if the people who take over for them are my most favored friends.

Erandur

I dont give them any followers either.
If they want some they can just go steal some Forsworn children or something.

I would not put that past them either

Idk Esbern seems nice enough so to speak. Its clear he fallows the marching orders of whoever controls the blades. I'm sure he would come around if she were removed.
