I posted it ten seconds before you, but the stupid text editor screwed it up. "close, but no cigar" is just an old saying meaning you lost only slightly (the loss being who posted the image second). I guess you won now because my image lasted for a grand total of ten seconds before crashing.naughty99 wrote...

One thing I'm going to do is make an orc character, give him a muscular body, strong jaws and long arms, and pretend he has an Australian pirate accent

Am I the only one more excited by scenery than characters? I've never experienced that in a game before lol.

The night sky looked fantastic. Better than any Oblivion environment modDruss99 wrote...
I'm not loving the daggers, not my style. But I do like the armour, it looks sneaky yet offers some protection. Won't be too warm in the cold of Skyrim though.

The daggers do look Sweet! I wonder if they are Dunmer weapons. Each race has its own weapon and armor set, right?

I sure hope there isn't any "Race-exclusive armor" other than maybe the beast races.sympathy4saren wrote...

I think Saren was talking about the different styles of weapons that you can craft (different recipes for Daedric, Elven, Dwemer, etc.)

Wouldn't you be blind if you forged the Elder Scrolls? Lol
Better question: how did they find out they were forged if they thought looking upon them would blind you?

It's been mentioned a few times that "third person will be improved". Have we any idea how, yet? I mean I don't even know what was wrong with it in Oblivion/FO3. It just didn't work, at all, somehow.
And do we know if the companions who can join us will join just for a single quest or will we be able to take them around, a bit more similar to a BioWare game? I know this feature and the romance feature likely won't have even half the depth of a BioWare game's, but I'm still curious =)

I should be blind from the one you see during the ultimate heist or because Uriel's disembodied voice told me I would be the next scroll's scribe, hmm...

Its hard to describe, it just seems to work better in the videos. The character looks like he is actually part of the environment now and has weight rather than the weird floaty animations that were going on before. Though to me it still looks slightly awkward while turning. Its better but not perfect, its really hard to describe.
Not alot has been revealed about companions but I suspect a mixture. Some will join for a quest and others will stick around aslong as you want them.

I remember seeing somewhere, a while ago, that each race has it's own custom set of armour. I don't think they will be race-exclusie though.LegendaryAvenger wrote...

There was also this one concept art pic I saw before, which was definetely argonian, but not an argonian. Everything about it looked argonian, except there was no tail, and the arms were really short. (Above the waist)I figured it was definetley argonian armour.

Just watch the E3 or Quakecon footage when he switches to 3rd person.
3rd person animations look A LOT better than Oblivion 3rd person animations.
I played Oblivion about 80% of the time in 3rd person.

Exactly, it has to do with different crafting recipes you can find, none of the armor is race exclusive for wearing.
