hey guys,is the entitlements page in my registered game promotions?

It's on my entitlements page...I just dont understand how it's supposed to work if there is no "redeem code" sent to us once the game is released. So yea, I understand that I "have it" now, I just dont understand the "how" and I WANT to understand the "how" when there is no redeem code.

I'll try explaining it again and I'll even include pictures.

There is no code; you are already entitled to the staff. When the game is released and the DLC is made available, you go to your Registered Game Promotions page and click on the Download link. You will then download the file onto your computer. Once it's downloaded onto your computer, you will double-click on it and install it.

Here it is in pictorial form: here is an example of what my own personal Registered Game Promotions page looks like. As you can see, there is no Download link for the SoP because its not available yet. However, I can show you what will likely happen. Either once the game is released you will get a link called Download that will appear next to it, allowing you to download it directly (I assume you've seen a Save dialog box by now), or else you'll get this pop-up (called More Info - PC in my case; not sure how it works for other consoles) that contains a download link, at which point you'll be prompted to save the file to the location of your choice. You will then double-click the file to install it.

Is that clear enough for you?

Uh huh, and what about those people who ARENT playing it on PC? Seriously, dont assume everyone is buying this for their computers.  And secondly, I kind of already answered my own question is seems in my last post.  So your implied attitude needs to be toned down a notch or two.  If you cant provide "help" without getting an attitude about it, then dont give help at all.  Simple as that.

Look. I was trying to help you. Let me be a little simpler:

You cannot get the item now because it hasn't been made available for the public yet. As I understand it, you will not require a code; codes are normally used to associate items and/or DLC with an account. However, since the SoP is already associated with your account, no code is needed. All you need to do now is wait for a download link to be provided and obtain the file however console users do such things.

ETA: It is also possible that if you play while logged in, your DA2 Entitlements will automatically be downloaded into the game for you. I completely forgot about that since I play offline.

Ahh, so that would explain why when I signed up I never got the newsletter, or the code.

Edit: Note for anyone that has not worked it out, first click here and signup for the newsletter (check the box, and enter your EA login) and then you can check it has been added to your Entitlements Page.

Hmm, i've got quite the DLC collection now. All the ME2 content for 360, most of it for PC. Most of the DA:O content for PC... and now off to a start with DA:2!

Didnt think I could get it now....Because, as you said, the game is not public yet.  I merely wanted to know when/if I was going to be getting a redeem code so that I know when/if to expect it.  So long as that's accounted for I wont worry about it and move on.  When Im "promised" something I like to know when/how/etc on obtaining said item/whatnot so that I can have my proverbial "ducks in a row" when it's showtime yea?  To put things in perspective, Im the guy that when I go to a restraunt, and I order my food and the waiter/waitress tells me that it's going to be about 45 mins before I get my food, I expect my food to be there in 45 mins, period.  Unless some major tragedy happened in the kitchen, such as the kitchen exploding and/or the chef dying in said explosion.

Much like in this situation; I've signed on for a newsletter, which in turn has promised me an item in game when it's released.  I believe I have EVERY right to know precisely how/when/where/ad nauseum it will work down to the letter if need be.  Now fortunately, the quesiton has been answered and no further discussion is really required.  I simply wished to explain my frame of mind when I posted my previous question on the topic.

I could do with some help. When this first came out I did it and did not get it. Now it has come again I did it again. But it still is not in my registered promo list. I have read what people put and i get it click the link and I did a lot lol. yet it still is not in my registered list. I do not know why? I tried 3 browser and i am logged in on the forum so i am not sure what is going wrong. I have Hindsight but not the staff. Any help?

And you signed-up for the newsletter (AGAIN) on the page the link takes you to, even though you might have already signed-up for it before?

Click here, enter your email, password and check the "Register for the Dragon Age Newsletter." box under both, click submit.
Make sure you are signing in with the EA account/BSN account you use here.

After you do that it will say something along the lines of Staff of Parlathan successfully added.
Then check your User Entitlements to confirm. That's what worked for me.

If that still does not work, all I can suggest is talking with EA support as your account must be mucked up.

FYI, for anyone that missed that, you also seem to be able to grab that over the holiday period too!
Go to the Hindsight page and click the "Get your DAII Penny Arcade belt" image.
